Look no further than Ruby! This affectionate girl has a gentle nature and a playful personality. She adores spending time with her people, snuggling on the couch, and playing with her canine friends. Ruby is an energetic girl who loves getting outside to explore! She enjoys several walks a day, hikes, and trips to the dog park, where she can romp around. She’s still learning how to manage her nippy excitement around other dogs, but she gets along well with them, and especially enjoys playing with the resident dog in her foster home. She would do best in a home with another dog. Ruby is generally quiet for a hound, although she occasionally lets out a happy bark or two when having fun with her friends! She is housetrained and cratetrained, happily settling into her crate overnight or while you’re out. This smart girl recognizes her name and is working on learning new words. Tux was found under a car in north Caroline at 3 weeks old. While hiding under cards he burned himself on a hot muffler according to the rescue. We adopted him at 8 weeks old and kept him for 7 years. We had a daughter who developed allergies to the dogs so we have to give him up for adoption. He is great with children and loves outside. He’s not a great swimmer.

She is fine being left in her space during the day as long as she has appropriate things to chew, but she would really prefer to be with YOU. Jelly is so loving with her humans and is looking for a home where she can be the only pet and won't need to compete for resources or affection. Jelly has moderate hip dysplasia in her right hip and has already had a total hip replacement in her left hip. The veterinarian who performed it said she should be stable for the foreseeable future as long as she maintains a healthy weight and gets plenty of exercise to keep her hips strong.
