Dog's Name: Pup Jesse (JES0923OTHMD)Estimated Breed: Foxhound / Great Pyrenees MixApproximate Age: 5 Months Approximate Weight: 30 LBSCurrently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $475DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Jesse! Jesse is one of six puppies in the Elvis litter. Sadly, the mama of these babies was shot and killed when they were only four weeks old (her picture is included). Fortunately, they have been rescued and are now on the hunt for a loving home of their own. Despite all that has happened, Jesse is a loving, happy, and friendly puppy. His foster says he is just the sweetest. He is gentle and submissive with other dogs. He never barks and loves to play, but calms down quickly and lays next to your feet. Jesse would be a great dog for first time dog owners. Please remember that young babies require a lot of time, love, patience, and socialization to become the best canine citizens they can be. If you are ready to change this beautiful boy's life forever, submit an application today!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
