My name is Gabriel and if you're in search of a handsome lil fella, well, shoot...look no further. I am right around 6 months old and very sweet and playful. That typical puppy that just loves living life. Exploring this big ole world and playing are 2 of my favoritest things with snuggles and eating coming in a close 2nd. I will need to have continued house training. I'm almost there but still need a little more training. I'm a pretty smart lil cookie (it must be so cuz my foster mom tells all the time) and should have the hang of it in no time at all. I come in at around 14lb and shouldn't get a whole lot bigger at my adult weight. But don't you worry none, I'll be the perfect size for giving you all my love and cuddles. And it's also the perfect size for, yep...everything! From neighborhood strolls to some nature trails!! My short coat is going to easy peasy in the grooming department and that means lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. Oh my, what could be better?!! FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Giving warm a welcome to Chico! He is an adorable, 2-year-old, 8lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who came to us from CA to find a better life. Chico is a goofy little guy with a ton of spunk and a great attitude. He gets along with everybody and loves to explore with his person. Chico is treat motivated and has tons of character and charm. He does well with other dogs and would make a great additional dog to home or could be fine as an only dog. This silly boy would love a forever home that gives him lots of playtime and takes him with them on adventures. He is UTD vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Welcome Stevie to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 16- month old Pughuahua is our best guess. He is a small dog at 15 pounds. He has a great appetite and isn’t picky on his food. He currently eats in his crate. He is very puppylike and playful. He loves the small dog tennis balls. He likes all toys and will take the fluff out of them if he can. He is good in a crate and currently best friends with a small female playful dog in his foster home. He likes to run and play. He is crate trained and, on a schedule, will do all business outside. He is learning the doggy door. He does respond to the word “no” and stops what he is doing when you say it. He is good in a car and now good on a leash. He is friendly with dogs after he meets them. He would prefer a family of small dogs or no dogs would also be fine. When he goes outside to do his business, he does like his family to stay out there while he does his business. He will not go in his crate and will bark when he needs to go while in his crate. He was found as a stray on the streets of San Antonio. He was picked up by a good Samaritan after her day’s work. She saw him before work and after work he was still there so she took him home. He is now in a CCPAL foster home getting his training so he will be ready for his new forever home. He is not a big shedding dog, has an adorable underbite and a very cute curly tail. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Caost. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. I was found as a stray and sprung from the shelter by BHNW. Everyone who has come into contact with me gets the giggles at how sweet, affectionate and goofy I am. My one floppy ear gives me great character. My underbite makes me endearing. And my constant wiggles to gain attention and then my sploot (or roll over) as I cannot help myself. SCRATCHES ARE EVERYTHING! I'm really smart and know some basic commands but would do well with a family who can spend some time with obedience training. I want love so much that I become a walking bowling ball very easily. I do seem to have some significant allergy issues. When I came into BHNW, I was a giant scab. Medicated baths have helped a ton but I am constantly itchy and need to figure out why. So far, I seem to be good with non-reactive dogs. But I did get into a scuffle over a highly prized toy that we both wanted. I think I would be good for a family with older children who are dog savvy. I haven't been at all bothered by the squirrels by the door or the birds that land near the window, so if you happen to have a cat that isn't bothered by dogs, I think I'd be ok with that too. If you are looking for a playful, sweet, Velcro dog, I am it! Make sure you get your application in!

She has a very sweet and calm personality and loves people, both adults and children. She does like to be the queen of the castle and does not wish to share her home with any kings, princesses, or with any puss and boots for that matter. Cupcake knows commands like sit and come and does well on a leash but will pull if something perks her interest. She also loves squeaky toys and chasing the local squirrels, as well as just chilling on the couch with her humans. Cupcake has no evident medical issues but will undergo a wellness check and medical evaluation soon and will need to be spayed prior to being considered adoptable. In the meantime, we'll continue to get to know her personality and determine the kind of permanent home that will ensure Cupcakes enjoys a peaceful, happy, and well-loved life.

I love to snuggle on your lap and lay around most of my days, but I will follow you wherever you go. Even to the bathroom just to make sure you are safe. I will also let you know when there are dangerous sounds so you can say I'm pretty much a good security guard, but my foster mama says I'm quiet most of the time. I'm good with older kids, and love to play and wrestle with them. I'm also good with most cats. I do have some allergies that require me to take medication, but for the most part I'm a healthy girl. I love going for car rides and especially love those pup cups. I love to lay in the sun and bask in the heat from a good fireplace. I like to go for walks, just not long ones. If you think I would be a great fit for your family, I would love to find my forever home.
