WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Simon - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Meet Simon – Your New Adventure Buddy & Cuddle Companion! 🐾 Looking for a pup who’s equal parts playful explorer and professional snuggler? Meet Simon, a 1-year-old Pug/Boston Terrier mix with a heart full of joy and 16 pounds of pure love. Simon is always ready for action — whether it's exploring the backyard, going for a walk, or bouncing around with his dog friends. But don’t let his energetic side fool you — when the adventure winds down, he turns into a total lap pup, happiest curled up beside you for snuggles and snoozes like it's his full time job! Simon is the definition of a “shadow dog” — he loves being close to his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. Never worry about going to that 'scary' bathroom alone again!! He’s a curious little explorer when out and about but never too far, maintaining that level of within sight of his person. He’s a true lil disciple following you, his 'God' of all things good, wherever you are going. He’s crate trained, gets along great with other dogs, loves meeting new people, and would do best with older kids who can match his go-go-go energy. Simon’s ideal home is with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle but also appreciates a good cuddle session. This sweet, happy, and adorably squishy boy is ready to bring joy, laughter, and love to his forever home. Are you the one he’s been waiting for? Story
Animal Profile: Dobby is a 3 year old neutered male pug mix. He is great with dogs, cats and kids. Dobby loves to snuggle and is potty trained. He arrived in Seattle from California on 6/22/2025 Foster Update: Dobby is such a good dog! He loves to cuddle and give kisses, is completely potty trained, and is doing better and better in his crate, although it’s a work in progress. (He’d much rather be out with me.) He’s totally fine with my cat – he just ignores him – and has started to play and have zoomies with my resident goldendoodle, who is a bigger dog. He does well on leash, with minimal pulling, although he can get startled on walks if there is a loud noise. Following my confident dog’s lead seems to help him, and I think he would thrive in a household with a confident resident dog. He doesn’t know many commands yet, but he appears to know his name pretty well and is learning the “off” command for when he gets jumpy, anticipating getting to go outside. Dobby isn’t very playful with me (I’m not sure he knows how to play with a person!), although he’ll play with my dog. When it comes to me, he much prefers to just sit next to me, or on my lap. I've had some visitors come over and Dobby is shy at first but then he opens up if the visitors are calm and he sees the resident dog being friendly to them. In my opinion, he is well suited for an apartment. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from San Bernardino in California and arrived to Seattle area foster care via Wiggle Butts transportation on 6/22/25. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.July 18, 2025, 1:39 pm

Story
Animal Profile: Anastasia is a 3 year old, 15 lb spayed female pug mix. She is great with dogs, cats and kids. Anastasia loves to snuggle and is potty trained. She arrived in Seattle from California on 6/22/2025. Foster Update:  Ana is a dainty little darling with a heart as soft as her fur and a growing curiosity about the big, wide world. While she may start off shy, give her a little time (and maybe a sock to steal), and you'll be greeted with joyful tail wags, bunny hops, and the sweetest kisses you’ve ever known. She’s currently expanding her social circle, learning that people outside her inner squad can be pretty fun too! She’s not the type to make instant friends, but once you’re “in,” she’s yours for life. Ana is a respectful roommate to cats (though she definitely needs an escort past them in the hallway—safety first ), and while she’s still figuring out how to play with dogs her size, she’s more than happy to cuddle and groom the big ones like a tiny therapist. Don’t let her dainty demeanor fool you—get this girl near water and she turns into a zoomie-powered race car. She adores trail walks, taking on natural agility obstacles like a champ, and lives for the smells and sights of the woods. But once the walk is done? It’s Netflix and snuggle time. Preferably in your lap. Always your lap. Ana’s still building up confidence and working on solo time, so she’d do best in a home (not an apartment) where someone’s around to support her as she grows. She’s a quiet girl at heart but will give you a polite heads-up if someone’s at the door. She’s crate trained at night, is learning her basic commands (sit, recall, kennel up), and is very food motivated, which makes her a breeze to train. Whether you're hiking a forest trail or just binging your favorite shows, Ana is happiest being wherever you are. She's looking for a forever human who will cherish her gentle heart, continue building her confidence, and treat her like the royalty she was born to be.  Petite, playful, sensitive, and loyal to the core—Ana is ready to love big in her own quiet way. Could that special someone be you? Story
Meet Titos Saketiniaka Sake! This pint-sized pug-chihuahua mix is a shy guy with a heart of gold and a name as smooth as his cuddle game. Sake may start off timid, especially around new people and experiences, but with a little patience and a lot of love, he blossoms into a playful, affectionate companion. Sake absolutelyadoresother dogs and shines in the company of furry friendsfetch, tug, zoomies? Hes in! Toys are his jam, and once hes comfortable, hes happy to curl up next to you for a well-earned snuggle. This little guy is crate trained (he even puts himself to bed!), and hes doing excellent with house training when kept on a schedulehes a champ at taking care of business on walks. Hes still building confidence with leash walking and could use a bit more practice, but hes a quick learner, especially when treats are involved! Sake hasnt been tested with cats, but he shows interest in chasing critters like rabbits and birds, so a cat-free home might be best. What hedoesntneed more practice in is melting hearts with his soulful eyes and sweet, quiet presence. If youre looking for a gentle pup who will grow more confident every day and reward your love with loyalty, cuddles, and playful joy, Sake is your guy. Fergus can be shy and reserved around new people and other dogs, so he thrives best with very slow introductions, or even better, in a home with no other pets and minimal visitors. Once he feels safe, he is an absolute sweetheart who adores being near his favorite humans. If you are hoping for a loyal, laid-back companion rather than an exercise partner, Fergus might be your perfect match, he'd much rather lounge at your feet than go for a long walk! With a bit of patience, love, and plenty of comfy spots to nap, Fergus will reward you with a lifetime of devoted companionship.
