Apply at www.streetsavvydogrescue.org. URGENT SITUATION! Star, a dog adopted from Street Savvy Dog Rescue at least 6 yrs ago has turned up AGAIN Roaming the streets last seen with a homeless person. Back in July, we were having trouble getting hold of her owner and finally made the connection and returned her to him. Now we are experiencing a repeat of not being able to get an answer back from him despite repeated calls and texts. Sniff Daycare @sniffdoghotel kindly took her in overnight last night but we had to get her into our foster program and she is not doing well with other dogs in a not very large home with too little enough space to keep her separated properly from the resident three dogs and two cats! IMMEDIATE TEMP FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Star is great with people! TEXT 971-303-9415 THANK YOU COMMUNITY MEMBERS! Streetsavvydogrescue.org

Story
Labrador Retriever + German Shepherd Mix 7 months old Female 41 pounds Kids · 5+ Dogs · Yes Cats · Dog-savvy cats Turn around, bright eyes… Turn around…Every now and then I know you’ll train me to be the girl you want me to be. But every now and then I know I will cry if you are not around. Every now and then I know there’s no one in the universe as magical and wondrous as you, but playing with other dogs, respectful kids 5+, and dog-savvy cats is pretty great too. Every now and then I should spend some time in my crate—like while you’re away at work—but I’ll be okay with that because soon you’ll be home and I know there’s nothing better than being by your side, there’s nothing that I wouldn’t do for you. A total eclipse of the heart. Turn around, bright eyes… Turn around, bright eyes, turn around and come adopt me! My adoption fee is $300 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam, reduced-cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Story
Hey there, pals! The name's Calhoun, and let me tell ya, I'm the life of the party! 🎉 I may be a two- to three-year-old, 70-pound Shepherd, but don't let my size fool ya – I'm a big bundle of joy just waiting to find my forever home! 🐾 I've been hanging out in my foster home for a few months now, and let me tell ya, I've got the seal of approval from my foster dad! He's always raving about how sweet and loving I am, and let's not forget my impressive people skills – I can get along with any pup I meet! 🐶 I've got this knack for diffusing any tense situations with my goofy antics – whether it's rolling around, jumping over things, or wiggling my way into someone's space, I'm all about spreading those good vibes and showing everyone that life's meant to be enjoyed! 😄 Check out my personality in action: https://youtu.be/8S1E5XorCeA Sure, I may look a bit awkward sometimes with my long legs and silly behavior, but trust me, I'm as athletic as they come! I love zooming around and jumping for joy – it's like I've got springs in my paws! 🐾 And let me tell ya, my foster dad gets a kick out of watching me run – my joy is just contagious! 🏃‍♂️ But hey, I'm not just a goofball – I've got some serious house manners too! I'm crate-trained, walk like a champ on leash, and I'm all about those car rides. Plus, I adore kiddos – they're like my favorite playmates! 👶 I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can be a part of the family and go on all sorts of adventures together. Once we bond, I'll be your trusty sidekick – whether we're exploring the great outdoors or just cuddling up on the couch. And hey, I've got great recall, so you can bet I'll stick close by your side! 🌟 So, if you think I might be the perfect fit for your crew, don't hesitate to reach out to my adoption coordinator. Story
Meet Oobie! He is a 3 year old GSD mix, around 65 lbs . Oobie is a very polite boy indoors and loves other dogs. He doesn’t jump all over people or furniture and already knows sit and down! Watch my cool tricks here! https://youtube.com/shorts/CoG5KSHThdg?feature=share4 He has a lot of your typical GSD traits, he is smart, strong, and loyal to his people. He can bark at times so probably not an apartment guy, and he would love a yard to play in! He has lived with big dogs and small dogs before. Oobie is mellow inside and happy to play with toys by himself, although fluffy toys beware, he likes to defluff! He can be protective of his people in the home so would do best with a homebody or someone who lives on land, he would not enjoy the city lifestyle. Oobie would thrive with someone familiar with the breed and would be fine in a house with other dogs or by himself. He is even living with a cat in his foster home who he gets along with! He has a great energy level and would do well with hikes on the weekends and chilling inside during the week with a daily walk around the neighborhood or running on acreage with his new family! He is a playgroup rockstar at the rescue, gets along with every dog!
