At the beginning of May our Saint Bernard sadly passed away 13 days before his fifth birthday. We were out of town for a Softball tournament and I saw a post on the Gresham Facebook page that there was a lady outside with yeti trying to rehome him and they had been there all day. I think I was overcome by grief when I asked my dad to go down and pick him up. We’ve only had him since the end of May and I’ve already got him potty trained and he knows a few commands. He is great with my kids. I have four and he loves spending time with other dogs, but when we are not home to give him attention he digs and chews on toys that are left outside with just a little bit of training i know he could be a great companion, but I just feel like I might not have enough time to spend on him now that I’ve lost my job. I feel like it would be best to give him a beautiful home and owner that has more time and can cuddle in bed with him because he’s a husky he has anxiety when he’s alone.

Snuggle 10month German Shepherd/ rotty mix looking for a forever home! I am currently rehoming a 10 month old German shepherd/rotty mix that I rescued 6 months ago! I am located in Gresham/Portland. Gus is the most amazing snuggly, playful puppy and great with kids! I’ve never needed to rehome any animals and this is a very difficult decision! Unfortunately, even with all of his incredible qualities, our home is no longer a good fit for Gus. Gus struggles with resource guarding against our other dog, Because of this, he needs to be an only dog OR with very experienced owners who can provide more management and consistency training. I work full time and do not have enough experience and time to work with Gus daily. Gus is up to date on his shots, and very healthy. We will provide all vet records. Ruby is a sweet, attentive dog. She loves us and we love her, but cannot provide her with the exercise and mental stimulation she needs. The Humane Society told us she is 5. I don't think so, I'm thinking 2 or 3 years old. She loves kids. She is very gentle. BUT she chases our cat and we just can't have that. She chases her in the house and outside. She is gentle and loving and follows us everywhere. But we are just not enough for her. She has no job. Going out to the recycle bin is not a job, but she goes. She is very smart and learns quickly. Ruby has an incredibly soft and shiny coat. She would make someone a wonderful pet if they had the time and consistency to be her human.She knows lots of words - the names for all her toys, dinner, "where's Dad?", outside, kennel, sit and wait, etc. She knows to sit, come, and unfortunately NO! She doesn't beg. Doesn't particularly like people food. Training is hard because she doesn't respond to food rewards. She tires of "good dog!" and pats.

At around 50 pounds, she’s a wonderful girl who’s ready to bring love and laughter into her forever home. Gypsy can be a little timid when first meeting new people, but with a bit of patience and kindness, she quickly warms up and shows her sweet, silly side. Once she feels safe, she absolutely shines—she loves attention and enjoys being her goofy, happy self. She gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys having canine friends to play with. Gypsy also loves spending time outdoors and especially looks forward to her walks—she does very well on a leash and is a joy to take out and about. Gypsy Moon is currently heartworm positive, but she is undergoing treatment and making great progress. She’ll be tested again soon, and we are hopeful for a negative result. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
