Story
I'M SCOUT! I'm a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. I've been waiting for many months for someone to choose me! I weigh about 64 lbs. and am a handsome boy. I was rescued from a shelter, where I was kenneled with another dog and did great! However, I would likely do best with a submissive dog, possibly a female. I love being petted and I love, love, love food. I would do well with an active person or people who go for walks, hikes and other outings. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
Johnny is a big puppy - like big, and still thinks he's a little puppy; which means he's a bit of a handful at times. But, he absolutely loves to be around people and desperately wants to play with other dogs - his size and enthusiasm just make it important that he play with the right dog. That said, his 74 lb 6 foot frame didn't inhibit him from having a great time playing with an 11 lb Chiweenie and the two of them had a fantastic time.Johnny will turn anything into a toy, including ropes, buckets, rawhide bones - you name it.If you are a dog lover, and patient person willing to give him lots of positive praise, support and pets, I promise - Johnny will love you forever, and with every ounce of his very, very big heart. He even gives hugs.Visit this link to apply: form.jotform.us/60136667457159   ##1493838##

Story
Willy, a one year-old neutered, 45 lbs, low energy, medium length coat, German Shepherd mix, is a playful, calm, silly, intelligent, and energetic pup who is current on vaccinations. As a puppy, he arrived at our rescue with his ears chewed by his mischievous brothers and sisters. Willy is a submissive sweetheart, always seeking your guidance and support, and relies on you for direction. With his loving and tender nature, he dreams of having a sibling who mirrors his kindness and gentleness. Regardless of the breed, he finds joy in playing with dogs and cherishes their companionship. He will gracefully withdraw from any game that becomes too intense until he feels at ease. If he wants your attention and needs some affection, he will roll over and expose his belly. Willy is an exceptional conversationalist, attentively providing suggestions and offering unwavering support. Anyone who can fulfill his desire for a delectable treat will instantly become his favorite. Though he may come across as reserved at first, his demeanor quickly changes as he becomes more sociable. His head swivels from side to side, showing his complete captivation whenever he hears an intriguing sound. Whatever you're doing, his wonderful sense of humor brings a smile to your face and adds a touch of lightness to the atmosphere. With his sociable nature, Willy is a dog who craves human companionship and will shower you with kisses and affection. Willy is a genuine lover, and he delights in cuddles. He prefers humans who display patience and are willing to invest time in building a connection with him. He knows sit, down, crate, come, off and HAPPY! He is cool with chilling at home or playing outside. He is truly one of the sweetest companions you will ever encounter, his kind gestures and gentle demeanor leaving a breathtaking impression. Story
Age - almost 2 years old. Weight - 55 Pounds. Evie was rescued from being euthanized at the shelter. She was an owner surrender because she was brought in and the family expected their teen son to fully care for her and when he didn't, they dumped her. Really sweet girl just takes a second to warm up to new people. We believe she is a German Shepard mix about 2 years old. She has been to board and train and knows all her basic commands and she is fully crate trained. She is super on point with her training and listens extremely well. We believe she would be a good canidate for any families that wish to further her training into more advanced thing such as scent work, agility, even police dog work we think she would do great! Evie is one of those dogs where as long as she has her tennis ball she is all good to go! She will chase her ball for hours and hours. She is dog friendly but she just might thrive best in a home with no other dogs so she can really shine and get the attention she thrives! Evie has been in the care of the Rescue for over a year and has only had 2 short foster offers of only a week and otherwise has been fully in our care the last year. She has been through a month of board and train as well and comes with 2 free training lessons with her trainer. If interested in adopting Evie, kindly fill out the application found here: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptionsJune 12, 2024, 9:16 pm

Story
HI - I'M SCARLET! I'm a lovely, sweet, and very active 8-year-old Belgian Malinois currently in a foster home in Northern Oregon! Previously, per the shelter that housed me, I came from a hoarding situation in California. I'm an affectionate girl, with plenty of energy for walk, hikes and other outings. I will be your best friend and co-pilot, as I love spending time with my people. I do have strong protective and territorial instincts, and will protect you from an intruder. I'm extremely intelligent and I learn quickly at your command. Even though I'm only 55 pounds, I am strong, and need a strong owner. I am easily distracted on a walk, but I'm gentle, too. I do not do well with cats and have a prey drive. Belgian Malinois dogs can have a long lifespan if taken care of properly, so don't let my 8 years scare you. I don't act like an 8-year-old dog at all, and in fact, I'm ready to go for a long hike! I may be younger, too, as my age is a shelter estimate. I'm also a bit of an escape artist, but that's because I'm so smart. So please don't leave me out in the backyard for hours on end as I could figure out a way to get out. I will do fine if left in a utility room - I do not have accidents in there nor am I destructive. All in all I'm a wonderful dog who needs a wonderful, experienced, loving owner. Can you adopt me?
