Story
I'M SCOUT! I'm a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. I've been waiting for many months for someone to choose me! I weigh about 64 lbs. and am a handsome boy. I was rescued from a shelter, where I was kenneled with another dog and did great! However, I would likely do best with a submissive dog, possibly a female. I love being petted and I love, love, love food. I would do well with an active person or people who go for walks, hikes and other outings. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
Hi, meet or pretty girl Cream who is about 1-2yrs old and a petite 40lbs. She's very loving and sweet but also a bit shy with humans and dogs but warms up quickly. She gains confidence around other dogs and solicits attention. She doesn't walk well on a leash and just needs a little direction as it doesn't seem like she learned about a leash before. She's not only a cutie, she's smart too so she'd be fun to train. She seems to be house trained, but accidents should be expected for a new environment. She's spayed, vaccinated and chipped so she's ready to be your new love. Get your application in ASAP! Currently in Southern California, but can be transported up to northern states, such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and other close by states, if a great suitable family is willing to adopt him.

Story
Jayda is a 1.5 year old purebred working-line German Shepherd that comes from a very loving home. She’s just a sweet dog that wants to play all day! Some of her favorite things include playing fetch, crunching on ice cubes (and chasing ice cubes if you throw them), being scratched on her sides (do a grabbing motion with your hand and she’ll come running), being sprayed with the outdoor water hose, chewing on yummy beef bones, and will never turn down snacking on any dog-safe fruits and veggies she’s offered!Jayda gets along very well with other animals because she grew up with her current family’s small-breed dog as well as a house cat, who she’s always very excited to see. Jayda is proficient in tricks including sit, lay down, give paw, touch (touches her nose to your hand), stay, and ‘be gentle’. She’s an extremely intelligent dog with the ability to learn and master tricks in very little time.Jayda is continuing to live with her original family until she goes to her new home!

Story
Hi! I’m Willy! I'm a one-year-old, neutered, 45-pound, medium-energy, medium-length-coat German Shepherd mix. I’m a playful and calm pup. I'm also silly and smart. I have a moderate amount of energy. I'm current on my vaccinations. My start in life has been a difficult one. Whoever had me before abused me, and my dog brothers and sisters chewed off the tips of my ears. Probably because I am more submissive type of boy. No worries, I’ve managed pretty well considering, but I'm shy and will need your guidance and support. I will always seek your guidance and support and rely on you for direction. I'm a very tolerant boy, and the bestest boy! My dream is to have a confident sibling. I cherish my foster mom's American Bulldog Blend, a gentle giant. We play for hours and wear each other out. He's more confident than I am. He's willing to try new things. I would like a brother like this. He'd bring out my best self. I will step back from overwhelming situations and dog play until my comfort returns. I'm a kind and gentle boy and cherish companionship, human and dog. I would like my humans to be patient with me but firm. I'm cautious around new things and new humans. I enjoy getting encouragement and requests to try new things. It may take me a bit to try out this new thing or get to know this new person. But, once I have built a connection, I am open to new experiences and people. When I crave your attention and need some affection, I'll roll over and expose my belly. Those who meet my craving for a delicious snack gain my favor. I will swivel my head from side to side whenever I hear an intriguing sound. I’m an adept conversationalist and offer valuable suggestions that I deem worthy. I’d like to shower you with kisses and affection. I know the following commands: sit, down, crate, come, off, and HAPPY! I’m cool with chilling at home or playing outside. I like walks and would like my confident dog friend with me. I’m crate trained and enjoy the solace of my crate when I need a break. To apply for Willy, please fill out an application:  https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159 ##2053354##

Story
Age - almost 2 years old. Weight - 55 Pounds. Evie was rescued from being euthanized at the shelter. She was an owner surrender because she was brought in and the family expected their teen son to fully care for her and when he didn't, they dumped her. Really sweet girl just takes a second to warm up to new people. We believe she is a German Shepard mix about 2 years old. She has been to board and train and knows all her basic commands and she is fully crate trained. She is super on point with her training and listens extremely well. We believe she would be a good canidate for any families that wish to further her training into more advanced thing such as scent work, agility, even police dog work we think she would do great! Evie is one of those dogs where as long as she has her tennis ball she is all good to go! She will chase her ball for hours and hours. She is dog friendly but she just might thrive best in a home with no other dogs so she can really shine and get the attention she thrives! Evie has been in the care of the Rescue for over a year and has only had 2 short foster offers of only a week and otherwise has been fully in our care the last year. She has been through a month of board and train as well and comes with 2 free training lessons with her trainer. Story
River is looking for her forever home. She is only around 3 years old and was found on the streets of Mexico extremely malnourished with puppies, who unfortunately did not survive. She is very sweet and she is great with other dogs. She loves to sit up high and watch over her home! River is spoiled and loves to lay on soft beds and blankets any chance she gets! She loves to play with stuffed toys and will often be carrying them around. She loves to hangout outside and sunbathe! Super sweet and cuddly girl she will be by your side as much as she can be. She can jump a 5 foot fence so will need a home with 6-8 foot fence or an invisible fence or something similar so that she cannot leave the property. Story
HI - I'M SCARLET! I'm a lovely, sweet, and very active 8-year-old Belgian Malinois currently in a foster home in Northern Oregon! Previously, per the shelter that housed me, I came from a hoarding situation in California. I'm an affectionate girl, with plenty of energy for walk, hikes and other outings. I will be your best friend and co-pilot, as I love spending time with my people. I do have strong protective and territorial instincts, and will protect you from an intruder. I'm extremely intelligent and I learn quickly at your command. Even though I'm only 55 pounds, I am strong, and need a strong owner. I am easily distracted on a walk, but I'm gentle, too. I do not do well with cats and have a prey drive. Belgian Malinois dogs can have a long lifespan if taken care of properly, so don't let my 8 years scare you. I don't act like an 8-year-old dog at all, and in fact, I'm ready to go for a long hike! I may be younger, too, as my age is a shelter estimate. I'm also a bit of an escape artist, but that's because I'm so smart. So please don't leave me out in the backyard for hours on end as I could figure out a way to get out. I will do fine if left in a utility room - I do not have accidents in there nor am I destructive. All in all I'm a wonderful dog who needs a wonderful, experienced, loving owner. Can you adopt me?
