MEET RINGO! Ringo is a gorgeous 8-year-old German Shepherd in need of a foster or forever home. He was rescued from a shelter awhile back and is ready for a new leash on life! He is very intelligent and loyal. Ringo bonds intensely with his person, so would thrive in a home with a single person, or possibly a couple with German Shepherd experience ideally. Like most shepherds, he will be your true companion. He may be protective, so a quiet home/setting is important for him. Ringo loves car rides and riding in the front seat! He would love road trips and other adventures. He takes treats gently and sits on command. He has done well around other dogs. Please email for an application. Ringo weighs about 69 lbs.

Story
Good things come to those who wait!  Timber has been working very hard the past few months to become the most perfect companion he can be and he`s now ready to show that hard work off. Are you the home for him? He has shown himself to be a very loyal, intelligent and affectionate companion and just in the last few days has decided he wants to be a LAP DOG! Timber is totally house trained, originally ringing chimes at the door when he wanted to go outside. Now he has mastered the doggy door and goes outside whenever he wants. Timber shows a clear understanding of basic behaviors such as `sit`, `high five`, `down` and `stay`. He is very food motivated and with consistency in his training, will be a well-behaved, enjoyable and life-long companion.Timber is a very active pup and requires a lot of exercise. His ideal family would have members who will walk with him several times a day and ideally a leash less but safe field where he could interact and socialize with other dogs,,,this is his favorite thing,,,and ours too,,,as he is able to burn up a lot of energy!Timber is improving his leash walking but again, this is an area that requires consistency. He also no longer has separation anxiety issues,,,he wants nothing more than to be with his human, but he is comfortable being left alone when need be.  Timber is currently interviewing for his new `pack` that will provide him with lots of exercise, patience and love. His love is unconditional and he will reciprocate your love a hundred fold. Timber is just over a year so still a puppy, he is neutered, up to date on shots, Microchipped and ready for his forever family. To meet him please go to our website - OFOSA.ORG and fill out the dog application and his foster will arrange a meeting. His adoption fee is $340.00

Story
Max is 10 years old and weighs 69 pounds. We have had him since he was a puppy (we got him from a neighbor's litter). We unfortunately have to rehome him because someone in our household has developed significant dog allergy and asthma problems. This is a heartbreaking decision and we want to make sure he goes to a good home. Max is friendly, smart, loyal, and protective. He loves to be part of the action happening at home. He enjoys people watching in the neighborhood but can be unpredictable around other animals. He had a best doggy friend that lived across the street. He is interested in the kids in the neighborhood and has befriended several of them. Max likes to jump up to say hi, though. Max loves chasing things! Balls, laser pens, cats, squirrels. He is very smart and would respond well to training when treats are involved. Tetanus vaccine is up to date (last received 10/2024). He is due for other shots. Max does not like baths and does not like getting his nails trimmed.

Story
Dasher is a rescue adopted in Southern California. He is 2.5 years old. Humans are Dasher's favorite. He is very loving and wants affection non-stop if he has his way. He is very obedient and listens when called or corrected. He is in the stage of learning how to be social with other dogs. When around other dogs, he becomes overly excited and wants to play until he can no longer do so. He has had some obedience training and is house and crate-trained. Please, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Dasher will also come with a crate, toys, a large bag of food, a standing water bowl, two beds, a leash, and several little accessories.

Story
HI - I'M FREYA! I'm a sweet and gentle 1-1/2-year-old Belgian Malinois mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a crowded California shelter in the nick of time. While there, I was kenneled with another dog, and was calm and gentle. I love playing with other dogs, and I also tested great with cats! (We have videos!) I would do best with an active person or people who can take me for long walks, hikes and other outings. I weigh 55-60 lbs. Please email for an application and additional photos.

Story
HI -I'M NOMI! I'm a 5-year-old beautiful Dutch Shepherd-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. My name means "beautiful" and "delightful" and it is so fitting, because I have a gorgeous brindle coat and a sweet face. I was rescued from a California shelter, and now have been waiting patiently for someone to notice me! I am gentle with people, and am friendly with most dogs, though I can get jealous at times. I would probably thrive as an only dog where I could get all of the attention, or hang out with a submissive male. I weigh 68 pounds. I would love a new home this year! Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.
