Story
Meet Tom and Jerry, a dynamic duo of 9-month-old German Shepherd mixes who are double the fun and twice the love! These social, treat-motivated brothers are social butterflies who never met a snack they didn't like, making them absolute stars for reward-based training. While Jerry is a bit more mellow, Tom is a lean, mean, excitement machine who tends to get a little "jumpy and mouthy" when he's happy to see you-he just has so much joy he doesn't quite know where to put it yet! If you're looking for a pair of handsome, energetic best friends to grow with, this playful pair is ready to bring a whole lot of life to your home. 🐾🦴🎾 Primary Color: Sable Weight: 49.25 Age: 0yrs 9mths 0wks

Story
Meet Uno, a handsome 5-month-old German Shepherd mix who is ready to be your number one adventure partner! This leggy, spirited pup is a total ball of energy looking for an active family that can help him channel his "zoomies" into learning some proper doggy manners. While he is incredibly cute and social with everyone he meets, his boundless enthusiasm and "puppy pounces" may be a bit overwhelming for young children, so he'd do best in a home prepared for his high-octane lifestyle. If you have a sense of adventure and a bit of patience for puppy shenanigans, this sweet boy will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and love. 🐾🎾🦴 Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Black Weight: 51 Age: 0yrs 5mths 3wks

Story
This is Nelly or RiNela if you want to call her by her legal name. She came to us through a foster program and she has been a wonderful companion. She is loyal, kind, gentle, and adventurous. She loves going on hikes but she is equally happy cuddling up to us in bed. She takes to training very well and is housebroken, knows to sit, heel on the leash, lay down, where her bed is, and how to be gentle with kids. She has lived with us an our cats for a little over a year. She gets along ok with the cats although she does like to chase and play with them. One of our cats is ok with it the other not so much.Which brings us to why were putting her up for adoption. Myself and my partner are both pursuing changes in our careers and we dont have the time that we used to have. Because of this we no longer have the ability to let out her energy and keep up with her training which is a very important part of keeping a GSD. She will come with all the things you need to get started. Thanks

Meet Flacko ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you area not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Flacko is a neutered , 8 month old male German Shepherd Dog mix, weighing around 40lbs. He is in a foster home in Houston , TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found. Handsome Flacko is a a certified good boy! He LOVES people, dogs and really wants the foster cat to be his buddy. He may have too much enthusiasm for most kitties to enjoy however. He’s a quick learner & he just wants to please you. All he’s missing now is his forever person! This energetic pup is a bit of a wild man when playing with his dog friends (15-60lbs), but is great at reading their cues and respecting their boundaries. Flacko got an A++ from Doggie Daycare Playgroups and enjoys snuggling with a smaller puppy friend. Flacko has been great with his foster’s 10 year old nephew and they feel he’d enjoy a human sibling to play with. He is working on his puppy manners, jumping and pulling on a leash, so would need to be supervised around the smaller kiddos. After a rollicking play session, Flacko loves getting cuddle time with his people, rolling over to show his belly! He is a HUGE fan of pool time and will entertain himself with his favorite toys. This good boy is house and crate trained and will flourish with an experienced adopter that will help him navigate the world with confidence. Flacko is ready to win your heart, and we can’t wait to watch him grow up in a loving forever home! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him? We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Meet Tommy – The Gentle Giant with the Million-Dollar Smile Tommy is a 3-year-old, 75-pound German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his grin. He was rescued from an overcrowded Houston shelter and came to us extremely shy, fearful, and unsure of the world- likely the result of a very troubled past. For months, he needed very patient, gentle fosters to help him feel safe. Because he was given that time, love, and consistency, Tommy has blossomed into the sweetest, calmest, most loyal companion. But it’s important for future adopters to know: Tommy absolutely requires a slow warm-up. He needs people who understand that trust for him is built quietly, steadily, and on his timeline. Once he lets you in, though… it’s magic. In his foster home, Tommy quickly found comfort in his kennel, learned to use the doggy door, and chose an elevated bed as his favorite spot. He’s a slow-paced, easygoing guy who loves lounging on the porch, stretching in the sunshine, and - his signature move - lifting his face to sniff the breeze with a big, content smile. Tommy will likely thrive best in a home with another confident, friendly dog. He adores following another dog’s lead, which helps him feel braver and more secure during new experiences. As his foster family, we LOVE Tommy deeply. We are committed to being an ongoing resource for his success. If, for any reason, the adoption isn’t the right fit, please reach out - we will gladly take Tommy back and continue fostering him to ensure he finds the most perfect home. If you’re looking for a calm, gentle soul who will be your quiet shadow, your breeze-sniffing porch buddy, and your loyal friend once he trusts you, Tommy may be the perfect match you’ve been waiting for. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
