Story
Magnolia is a breathtaking little lady with the classic Great Pyrenees elegance wrapped in a more petite package. At three years old and approximately 90 pounds, she’s a spayed female who turns heads everywhere she goes — her fluffy white coat, soft expression, and regal posture make her truly gorgeous to look at. But it’s her personality that wins people over even faster. She is a sweet, loving, affectionate dog who thrives on companionship. Magnolia enjoys car rides, settles in beautifully, and loves going for walks where she can stretch her legs and take in the world. She has plenty of energy and enthusiasm, making her a fun partner for someone who enjoys an active daily routine. At home, she’s crate trained, adores her toys, and has a playful, spirited side that brings a lot of joy to the people around her. Magnolia prefers to be the pampered princess of the household. She would do best as the only pet and is not suitable for a home with cats. Her ideal family is one that appreciates her affectionate nature, her lively energy, and her desire to be the center of attention. She would be a wonderful fit for a home with older children who can enjoy her big, loving presence. She is available for adoption in the Greater Los Angeles area and is ready to bring her beauty, sweetness, and bright spirit into a home that will cherish her. Story
COURTESY POST: CONTACT 818-378-8995 to foster OR adopt. Brody is a shy 2-year-old, 95 lb. boy, who sadly was abandoned and left in boarding when a rescue group closed its doors. Brody is a little nervous with new people but once he gets to know you, he’ll be your most loyal companion. He is calm, playful, gentle with other dogs and loves to play catch with his trusted two-legged friends. He enjoys being by your side and will sit calmly and smile when he’s ready for affection and belly rubs. It might take some time to earn his trust… but the love he offers in return will be worth it. (No kids please, they scare him). House-trained, neutered, current on vaccines and ready for a home to call his own.

Story
RODEO HAS GOTTEN ALONG WITH DOGS WE HAVE INTRODUCED HIM TO THAT ARE HIS OWN SIZE. PROPER INTRODUCTION WOULD BE NEEDED TO EVALUATE IF HE'S GOING TO GET ALONG WITH AN EXISTING DOG IN A HOME BUT BECAUSE OF HIS SIZE AND STRENGTH, WE BELIEVE HE WOULD BE A GOOD MATCH FOR A DOG HIS SIZE. APPLICANTS MUST LIVE IN THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES IN AN ADULT-ONLY HOME (NO APARTMENTS) WITH A PRIVATE YARD. RODEO is the definition of a Rhinestone Cowboy! Not only does he have stunning good looks, but his DNA results prove that he is quite a unique gem of Great Pyrenees/Aussie/Border Collie. Our rescue has been working with a certified professional dog trainer to help us get to know Rodeo and set him up for success. Rodeo is an incredible dog that would do best with an adopter that has experience with the large working breeds and structure in the home. He would not be a good dog for a first-time dog owner. Mostly comprised of Great Pyrenees, he has the potential to be protective of his family. He doesn’t know his own strength and size at times, so we have been working on him staying calm and focusing on his handler. Because of Rodeo’s grand stature, he would require a home with a yard (NOT AN APARTMENT) and no small children that he could inadvertently knock over or small pets. Rodeo estimated date of birth is January, 2019. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and whoever is lucky enough to adopt this rooty tooty cowboy will get an in-home dog training lesson as part of his adoption. Now that’s something to YEE-HAW about! --- If you are interested in adopting Rodeo please fill out our adoption application by clicking this LINK. Applications are required PRIOR to meeting one of our animals and are used to set up a safe and successful adoption. Please don't be shy and answer the questions thoroughly. To learn more about our entire process please visit www.therescuetrain.org and click on the "Adopt A Dog" page. PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT OWN A FACILITY. Our animals are in private foster homes. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, in the office or playing with friends Kosas is up for any adventure. Just make sure you have a bag of yummy treats with you. She is sweet, very curious, energetic, observant and intelligent. She is learning tricks in both English and Spanish- she knows sit, stay, paw, down, come here, and her name! She plays well with large dogs and children. She doesn’t bark at strangers but enjoys sitting on the porch and people watching. Kosas is also a ✨passenger princess 👑 ✨ and enjoys car rides in her car seat. She sleeps very well through the night and takes naps throughout the day in her crate or bed. She enjoys playing with puzzle toys and chasing squeaky balls.

Story
This awesome litter of puppies was surrendered to us when the owner allowed her unspayed female to get pregnant by the neighbors GP. So often these people have no interest in caring for the puppies while finding them appropriate homes. As a rescue, we get these calls a lot. We step in so they don't start just handing them out to anyone so they can rid themselves of the problem. They came to us flea infested and definitely needed some medical attention for their skin. They are now beautiful fluffy happy puppies. They were born 3/10/26 All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.
