Story
Charlie is a handsome 55 pound, 8 month old Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix who is looking for a forever home. This gorgeous boy truly loves his people, including children, and thoroughly enjoys playing with his toys. He would make a fantastic addition to a loving home. Charlie is not only charming but also very sweet! He is housetrained, crate trained, and knows basic commands. While he is an absolute sweetheart with people he knows, he can be a bit wary of strangers initially. Once he gets to know someone, his affectionate nature truly shines through. Charlie also enjoys being outside and would thrive in a home located in a quieter neighborhood where he can comfortably enjoy his outdoor time. Story
Hi everyone! My name is Archie Bunker and I’m here to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a 7-year-old Pyrenees/Cattle Dog mix, weighing about 60 pounds. I’m a slower-moving, easygoing guy who’s all about the simple things in life. I’m a gentle soul who’s had more hard days than good ones, but that never made me give up hope. I don’t ask for much — a calm, quiet home without young kids, a warm bed, and someone who will love me. I’m good in the car and good on a leash so I’m an excellent companion for easy walks and mellow rides. I can be your steady shadow during the day then curl up nearby in the evenings. If you’ve ever wondered who needs you the most, it’s dogs like me. Give me a warm bed, a gentle hand, and I’ll spend the rest of my life loving you with everything I have. Story
Flint is a 86 pound, 15 month old Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix. This handsome boy is deliciously soft and strikingly handsome. True to his Pyr heritage, he is initially a bit wary of strangers and will bark a little when first meeting new people, so he would do best in a quieter home. Flint ADORES his people and is a delicious snuggler! His favorite is a cuddle on the couch in the evening, and he does think he's a lap dog! Flint is obsessed with the other dogs in his foster home and would love a canine sibling in his new home. He follows the other dogs in his foster home around and likes to climb on top of them for a cuddle or a wrestle. He is friendly with every dog he meets and enjoys making new friends. Flint enjoys playing with his toys and can often be found carrying a favorite around with his head held high and whole body wiggling. He is a laid back guy and adores his young, human foster sister and all children he has met. Flint is amazingly gentle with children and small animals and is good with goats, horses, and donkeys too. Flint likes to be outside and would love a home with a fenced yard. His foster family has fostered many dogs, and they truly cannot express enough how amazing this boy is! He is crate trained, housetrained, walks well on leash, comes when called, and knows "sit". Flint is food motivated and very trainable. It would truly be hard to find a sweeter or more handsome boy than Flint! He is one of a kind!! Moving to a new home will be a transition for him, so he is looking for a loving and patient family that understands this. In return, once he settles in, they will truly have a best friend for life! Flint does have elbow dysplasia and needs to stay on joint supplements, but this does not slow him down, and he still enjoys his playtime. Story
Hi there! I’m Evelyn — a 5-month-old, 35-pound Great Pyrenees mix with the softest fur and a heart to match. Life started out a little rough for me as a stray, but you’d never know it from how much I love people. I greet every new face with a wag and a hopeful look, wondering if maybe this is the one who’ll take me home for good. I’m gentle, with a sweetness that seems to make everyone smile. I’m curious about everything and I get along beautifully with canine friends. More than anything, I’m looking for a home where I can feel safe and loved for good. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle soul and a curious heart, I think we’d make a perfect match. Story
Hi friends, I’m Chevy—a 12-year-old Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as my 98-pound fluffy body. Life’s been a little tough lately; I lost my person, and now I’m searching for a new home where I can spend my golden years surrounded by love. I’m an extremely gentle soul who loves to lean into you for pets, and if you stop too soon, I’ll give you the classic Pyrenees paw to politely ask for more. I may be older, but I still have so much love to give. I’m great with both adults and kids. I walk nicely on a leash and ride calmly in the car—no drama, just a mellow buddy who wants to be close to his people. I’ve got the sweetest personality and the kindest eyes, even though one of them needed a little extra care. I had a cyst that made it uncomfortable, but I’m on eye drops now and our vet will be removing it soon. It may take a little while for the hair to grow back, but I’m already feeling so much better. All I really want is a loving home where I can relax and get all the affection I’ve been missing. If you’ve got room in your heart for a gentle older fellow who just wants to love and be loved, I promise I’ll make every day we have together feel like a gift.
