To learn more about Biggie, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Biggie will be at one of our adoption events this weekend! Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Biggie is the fluffiest guy on the block. He's all about his puppy duties: nap, eat, play, sleep and be cute! He's settling in at his foster home, learning that people have a lot to offer. Those small humans drop a lot of food around the house and have faces that are great to lick. He is learning that jumps should be for play, not on people. He's getting comfortable in his crate, working on potty training, but has yet to master the stairs. Come meet this guy and fall in love!

To learn more about Snow, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org What’s not to love about soft, fluffy Snow? Snow is a sweet friendly dog with a beautiful white coat and a charming smile. A gentle, affectionate girl who likes to stick with her people, Snow is happy to cooperate with getting in her leash, I relaxed with other dogs, and politely takes treats. She is new to Lost Dog and still figuring out things like street traffic and crowds. But with a new best friend by her side to guide her, Snow seems like she will be able to relax and fully be her sweet self!

Meet Blanca — an adorable 7 month old puppy full of love, energy, and personality! Blanca loves to play with her foster brother and enjoys every chance to run around, explore, and have fun. She is still learning her manners and puppy basics, but she is very smart, eager to learn, and highly trainable with amazing potential. Blanca is a sweet, affectionate girl who would thrive in a forever home with a yard where she can safely play and burn off her puppy energy. She is incredibly beautiful, with a unique and stunning coat that makes everyone fall in love with her instantly. The shelter listed Blanca as a Great Pyrenees mix, but we think she may also have some Heeler in her because of her beautiful coloring and markings. Of course, we can’t know for sure without a DNA test — but one thing is certain: she is an absolutely lovable and special puppy. Blanca is looking for a family ready to give her love, patience, guidance, and a lifetime of happiness. Could Blanca be your perfect new best friend?

She walks beautifully on leash, staying close and checking in like the thoughtful girl she is, while still enjoying all the interesting sights and sniffs along the way. She already knows “sit,” takes treats with the softest touch, and greets the world—people, pups, and even passing squirrels—with warm curiosity and grace. When it’s time to slow things down, Nova truly shines. She’s a total love bug who leans in for affection, happily soaking up pets and even rolling over for belly rubs when she’s feeling extra cozy. Please contact Robert Badura (robert.badura@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.loving boy ISO new home SPARROW NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Sparrow         Best Guess for Breed:   Great Pyrenees mix   Best Guess for Age:  Will be 2.5 years as of May 2026         SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight: 81 lbs as of 4/24/26; is overweight at this weight and needs to lose at least 10 lbs   Gets Along With:  Sparrow does well with other dogs, has lived with cats and done well with them (including kittens!) and has lived with a child ages 4-6.   Currently Living at:   DC area home   Special adoption considerations:   Sparrow is deaf. Honestly hasn't been an issue for him in his interactions with dogs or people. Hand signals FTW!   All about Sparrow: Sparrow arrived into our care in 2024 and was adopted out quickly. He has been incredibly well loved. Through no fault of anyone at all, Sparrow now needs a new home.   He lived with a child from ages 4 to 6 and with cats in his previous home and did great with them. He went to the dog park and spent time in doggie daycare, and was good with dogs there.   His humans say he loves his walkies! He really likes a brisk walk and keeps a loose leash when moving at a good pace (no meandering sniffy amble for this boy).   In the home, he sleeps overnight in his crate in his humans' bedroom and whines if he needs a middle of the night potty break. During the day he is free roam in the home and does great.   He can be a couch potato after his walkies and loves his snuggles. His male human has wrestled with him - he loves romping and wrestling! - and then he flops hard and just chills.   Sparrow is a loving pup who has been very well loved. He wants nothing more than to once again have his own humans for brisk walks and snuggles and all those things that come with being a cherished part of the family. Are you Sparrow's new chapter? Story
Marilyn is one of  many Tennessee stories that tends to haunt the Great Pyrenees breed that is given the task to protect and defend the flocks of a farmer. They are expected to give their life to defend the predators that tend to pray on flocks of farm animals in the dark of night.  What happens to these giants of gentleness and tender nature,  are that they are left with little medical care, heartworm prevention and appropriate food and monitoring.  Marilyn and her daughter Marlee were seen wondering on a remote Tennessee rural highway and not accepting the kindness of people who tried to approach.  They were scared and wary since people had apparently never been kind to the both of them.  Some determined rescue warriors made it their mission to win these two beautiful females over and to hopefully bring them in to a foster home and a rescue who would sponsor them.  It finally happened and Marilyn and Marlee were captured and drive to a wonderful small farm nearby who was owned by an experienced rescue lady.  Now Marilyn and her daughter are spayed  and will be ready for the caring homes that they deserve.    What we see in the personality of this beautiful white 5 year old angel called Marilyn, is that she is about 67 pounds and has many of the attributes of the Pyrenees breed. She is alert and watching and she knows when you are moving around doing chores and will come find you to stay close and oversee your work. We know that this girl will easily learn how to be a family companion who can trust that her humans do not need supervision during the day.  Marilyn is very sweet and loves pats and scratches. Her demeanor is calm and easy going as she patrols fences and checks out her indoor space.  We want this girl to relax and accept her new role of family companion.  If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 14, 2026, 9:49 am

Story
Ruben (Ruby) is 4 years old and has been with us since she was 7 weeks old. She is very socialized, and not food aggressive, but should have an experienced owner who is familiar with the Great Pyrenees breed as she can be territorial when other dogs enter “her” space. She is very, very sweet, but like all Great Pyrs can be stubborn and only respond once she decides she needs to listen. She has good recall with her electric collar and generally only needs a beep to remind her to pay attention to her owner. She is a really lovely Pyr and I hate to rehome her, but I have to move and I am finding it impossible to find a place that will accept her. I’d love for her to find a home on a farm where she has a job and can really stretch her legs as she is happiest when we are able to visit friends in the country. I’ve been trying to find someone I know who could take her, but no luck so far. I am going to be quite selective with where she goes and will want to keep in touch with her new family.
