Story
*Woof* Meet me at 71 Oglethorpe St NW between 12pm-7pm daily! There is a lot to love about Kokomo and we seriously mean A LOT! This 100-pound miss is a total love muffin and her sweetness if over the top! Kokomo is a delightful furry doggie who is so gentle and kind. She has a special way to nudge our hands to get pettings and love. And no one can resist! We all love this beautiful doggie. Now Kokomo is a bit overweight so she will need to drop a few to get back into proper doggie form. She is also a shedding breed so brushings (and household vacuuming) will be a daily routine please. But she is so sweet that it`s no trouble caring for this precious angel. So, make room on the couch and bed for this lovely pup. She cannot wait to meet you!

Story
Meet Indie – Your Sweet, Smart and Adventure Oriented Best Friend!    Hello world! I’m Indie—an irresistible bundle of fluff born on March 22 to a sweet, wise mama who’s a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix and quite possibly part angel. I was one of 12 siblings (yes, a full dozen!) and we all made it through strong, happy, and ready to take on the world—one cuddle and tail wag at a time. Right now, I’m living my best puppy life in a loving foster home, where I’m learning all the good stuff: crate training, house manners, and how to charm the socks off every human and critter I meet. I’ve got crystal-blue eyes, a snowy white coat, and a heart as big as my future paws. My foster mom says I’m the perfect mix of playful explorer and champion snuggler. I love kids, cats, dogs, and even the big grown-up pups who teach me the ropes. I dream of a home with a fenced yard where I can stretch my legs, sniff all the good smells, and maybe one day become your hiking buddy, running partner, or front porch nap companion.   Indie isn’t just a name—it’s a lifestyle. I’m independent, spirited, and full of joy. And trust me, if I’m at the end of your leash, you’re going to make a lot of new friends—because I’m sooo cute it’s basically magic.   If you're ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and paw prints on your heart, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. I can’t wait to meet you!   Love & tail wags,Indie   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 10, 2025, 10:45 pm

Story
Meet Sweet Sammy!   Sammy is a deeply loving and sweet, sensitive soul who just needs a little time (and patience) to feel safe. Whatever has happened in his past he is slowly overcoming in the company of dedicated humans. Once he trusts you, he loves BIG — the kind of loyal, heart-melting love that makes all the difference. He tends to bond more quickly with women but is fine with a man in his life.  We know that he will bond there as well with time.  This 2 year old, 70 pound boy thrives in calm, consistent environments. He would do best with someone who understands that nervous pups just need a little extra kindness to shine.   The Great Pyr breed has cautious traits that makes them observers and thinkers that are accessing life situations all the time.  He is big but not huge.  He has energy to burn and would love a home with a big fenced yard or access to space where he can run and stretch those legs while supervised! He does need a secure fence or to be kept on a lead — he’s a bit of an explorer and will take off if given the chance (but don’t worry, he always comes back).  This is the Great Pyr in him.  His DNA is hard to deny and the urgings to explore will always be there.  Coming back is a good thing that he does.   Sammy is housebroken and has great potential.  He has a few habits that we will reveal so you can be proactive.  He has a love for chewing! Shoes and remote controls.   What does doesn't?????  He’ll need a home that’s ready to puppy-proof and redirect. &#239&#184&#143 Sammy also enjoys quiet hideaways like under beds and finds comfort in cozy corners. Once he connects with you, he’ll be your loyal shadow.  Sammy isn’t perfect — but that’s what makes him so special. He’s looking for someone who sees past the reserved nerves and into the huge heart underneath.   Who wouldn't love looking at this handsome boy and his wonderful face every day??? Could that someone be you?    Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and tell us where you live.  City and state.  We transport from Nashville, TN to the northeast if you are not in Tennessee.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 10, 2025, 5:13 pm

Story
Have you ever seen cuter puppies than these Lab/Great Pyr mix babies?   Born on March 17th this litter of 12 pups, mostly girls , are now seeking homes to start a new life.   At 9 weeks these girls are only 10 pounds and very sweet.  Beautiful and well socialized, These pups were born to a mom who is 65 pounds and a version of a Great Pyr and something else.  She is solid white as well.       Our guess is that these pups will be the same size as mom and in the 55-65 pound range.   Critter Cavalry Rescue has started the process of giving all of their parvo distemper shots, series of 3 shots and they are being wormed and fed a healthy brand of puppy chow that will help them grow big and strong.  These puppies have been with young children in the original home they were born in.  This is how we can assure you that they are 'kid proof' and have been handled and hugged.  The momma Dog has been spayed as of 5/29 and she will never again have an accidental litter.   But these will be her legacy.  Momma Winnie is a soft, sweet girl with a loving temperament and easy going personality.  All of the puppies seem to take after her and we are very excited about placing them in the best homes possible over the next 4 weeks.    If you are interested, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue  at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  Please let us know where you live.  We transport from Nashville, TN to the northeastern states as well as adopting locally in Tennessee.                    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 29, 2025, 10:36 pm
