Gomez and his brother Greer have enjoyed growing up together but now they're ready to split up and get their own human families! This young boy is not long out of puppyhood and is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Does Gomez have a spot in your home and your heart? Story
Ruben (Ruby) is 4 years old and has been with us since she was 7 weeks old. She is very socialized, and not food aggressive, but should have an experienced owner who is familiar with the Great Pyrenees breed as she can be territorial when other dogs enter “her” space. She is very, very sweet, but like all Great Pyrs can be stubborn and only respond once she decides she needs to listen. She has good recall with her electric collar and generally only needs a beep to remind her to pay attention to her owner. She is a really lovely Pyr and I hate to rehome her, but I have to move and I am finding it impossible to find a place that will accept her. I’d love for her to find a home on a farm where she has a job and can really stretch her legs as she is happiest when we are able to visit friends in the country. I’ve been trying to find someone I know who could take her, but no luck so far. I am going to be quite selective with where she goes and will want to keep in touch with her new family.

Story
Monologue (Atlas) is a smart, affectionate, and playful 1-year-old pup. (OK, let's be serious...he's a TOTAL MUSH!!!) He is SO sweet and loves (LOVES!!) to snuggle.  His DNA results show he is a unique mix of Great Pyrenees, Catahoula Leopard Dog, and Labrador Retriever. He’s athletic, expressive (read vocal!), and full of personality—and he absolutely adores all humans. He is potty trained and crate trained. He will happily go into his crate with a treat and sleeps through the night. Because he’s a talented jumper/climber and curious about putting things in his mouth, a secure crate is important when no one is home. He is leash trained, loves walks, and being outside (he would thrive with a fenced-in yard).  Monologue enjoys wrestling and energetic play with dogs that match his energy—especially smaller or more submissive dogs. He is loving his foster family's resident dog but would do best in a home with NO cats. He does best with clear boundaries around resources: Needs to be fed separately from other dogs (he resource guards food) Shares water bowls just fine Loves toys and may try to take another dog’s toy (keep-away is one of his favorite games) Can be selective with dogs, particularly larger males Ideal Home  --  Monologue would thrive in: A home without small children (he’s a big boy and quite strong and playful,). Our 10 year old is fine with his strength. An active adopter who can provide multiple walks or play sessions daily or that has a good-sized yard.  A household that values structure, enrichment, and consistency Why You’ll Love Him Very people-oriented and affectionate Smart, athletic, and engaging Fully potty and crate trained Sleeps through the night Big personality with lots of love to give Monologue is looking for a home that understands young, energetic working-breed mixes and is ready to give him the structure and outlets he needs. In return, he’ll be a loyal, fun-loving companion who brings energy and affection into your life. Adoption Day: June 13th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Some pups may stick around until 11:00 AM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun!  ##2305551##

Story
Purpose is a fluffy little gentleman with the best mix of playful and laid-back. He’s great with kids, loves being around people, and already has impressively good dog manners for a puppy.   He’s got that classic clumsy, oversized-puppy energy....trips over his own feet, gets a little too excited about sticks, but it just makes him more lovable. Once he’s done playing, he’s perfectly content to flop down and hang out.   He’s not overly intense or demanding, just a sweet, social, easygoing pup who wants to be part of the family.   Also… the floof is very real. ##2720472##

Story
Pick Me is a wonderful puppy!  Gets along with every dog he meets.  He is learning the rules from my older dogs and shows appropriate respect to them.  He sleeps in his crate all night long.  Even at this early age, he is house trained already.  He is good with children and has developed respect for my cat.  He is definitely going to be a big dog.  Super friendly with every human he meets.  Likes children as well.  He will fit into a household that already has dogs or doesn't have dogs. Adoption Day: June 13th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt.
