Story
*** HARLEY NEEDS A LONG TERM FOSTER *** Meet Harley! Pryor’s Planet rescued this lovable senior just a day before he was set to be put down at the Chatsworth shelter! The volunteers had nothing but good things to say about him. He's an easy dog! At 11 years old, Harley is a sweet and slightly goofy guy with bursts of energy. He stayed with a temporary foster family where he got along wonderfully with their kids (13 and 18). Harley is fully vetted, up to date on his vaccines and groomed for his future forever home. He has arthritis, an eye irritation and dermatitis but all were treated by his foster family. Vet said he's in good health. He has some mobility issues, but he gets around just fine. We're really hoping to find him a new foster home since his current arrangement is only temporary, or even better, a forever family! He walks well on a leash and will take direction. He would thrive in a family with older kids and give him a soft place to land. Don't be fooled by his age! He's full of life and has so much love to give! Harley needs a home without cats and he'd love a mellow friend. Want to help take care of Harley? You can send PayPal donations to: Jennifer@pryorsplanet.com Or mail to: 16060 Ventura Blvd #110 Encino 91436 If you are interested in meeting/ fostering/adopting this adorable old man, please go to the rescue's website and fill out either the foster application or the adoption application (whichever one you are interested in). Story
Meet Teddy, a curious and gentle young boy who is looking for his forever home. With a heart as big as his brain, Teddy loves to explore and learn about the world around him. He is always up for an adventure and loves neighborhood walks and hanging out in the backyard. Teddy is a "shepski" (Shepherd - Husky mix), and on the small side for his breed at 43 lbs. Teddy has a shy but gentle nature, and he loves nothing more than to play with other dogs and maybe even take a dip in the pool. He would do well with most any dog, but would thrive with another dog whose behavior he could model. Teddy is ready to find his forever family and fill their lives with love and joy. Could you be the one to give Teddy the loving home he deserves? Teddy is currently in foster in the San Fernando Valley. If you'd like to come meet Teddy, let us know! Story
Unfortunately, I am looking to rehome Thena soon. My federal job recently relocated me to Los Angeles, and between work, a second job, and starting my second master’s degree next year, my schedule has become extremely demanding and will only get worse. I’ve been feeling terrible because she is home by herself most of the day, and it has really been weighing on my heart. I get to the office at 6:00 a.m. and don’t get off until around 4:30 p.m., then I rush home to let her out before heading to the gym, and later prepare for my second job in the evening/night. On weekends, I’m gone most of the day working as well. It’s a lot, and I know she deserves more time, attention, and companionship than I can realistically give her right now. This has been a very hard conclusion to come to, but I truly believe it may be the right decision for both of us. I don’t want to put her in a shelter, and I’m not concerned about any money. My only priority is making sure she ends up in a loving home.

Story
Hello! I'm Corrie, and Athena is our purebred Siberian Husky. She weighs around 50 lbs, so she is actually small for her breed. When we rescued her in Seattle WA, she was scared and underfed (see last photo). But with a little love and food, she became a very happy and healthy Husky. Her favorite toy is her squeaky ball, and she loves to fetch! (She'll howl for you). Athena's best friend is Pepper, our dachshund, but she does have a hard time with new dogs. All we want for Athena is a home that can love her, and give her what she needs. We live in a small apartment, and we would just love for her to have more space. She needs training for being around other animals, but she is great with people, including children. She is %100 house and crate trained. Athena is the sweetest Husky you'll ever meet, and she howls if she wants to play or go outside, but she doesnt growl or bark at strangers. She needs a family who either has a lot of space, or can take her on long walks/runs.
