Story
Lady has the most beautiful blue eyes! Volunteers say Lady may start off a bit timid when meeting someone new, but she warms up quickly and soon shows her sweet, eager-to-connect personality. Once she feels comfortable, she's excited to head out for her walks and stays beautifully attentive to her handler. They describe her as a true sweetheart who loves gentle affection, often placing her head in their laps to ask for pets. She sits politely for treats, enjoys their attention, and may even greet other dogs with a charming little play bow. Lady's mix of tenderness, good manners, and playful spirit has won over everyone who spends time with her. Since she has been insecure and untrusting in the shelter environment, she may need social support as she settles into her new life. She may enjoy a multi-animal family, and will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 62.6 Age: 1yrs 4mths 2wks

Story
Meet Koa — Three Legs, Four Paws’ Worth of Love This gorgeous Husky is Koa, a 4-year-old neutered boy who has been through more than his fair share—and somehow, he has come through it all with a happy heart and a wonderfully sweet spirit. Two years ago, Koa was hit by a car and brought to a veterinary clinic as a good Samaritan case. His owner couldn’t afford the extensive medical care he needed, so she made the heartbreaking decision to sign him over to the clinic. Sadly, Koa’s injuries were severe, and his back left leg had to be amputated. But Koa didn’t let that slow him down. He adapted beautifully to life as a tripod and does absolutely wonderfully on three legs! He gets around with confidence and doesn’t seem to have any idea that he’s supposed to feel sorry for himself. Koa was adopted two years ago, but his family recently experienced a life change and can no longer keep him. So once again, this incredibly deserving boy finds himself looking for a forever home. We’re determined that this time, Koa gets his happily-ever-after. Unlike many Huskies, Koa is quiet and not particularly talkative. He isn’t an escape artist, either. Instead, he’s a calm, affectionate guy who simply enjoys being with his people. He LOVES treats, which makes him wonderfully trainable, and he is happy to show off his good manners when snacks are involved. Koa also does beautifully with other dogs and has been a gentleman around cats he has met. He loves being brushed and seems to genuinely enjoy the simple comforts of being loved and cared for. At 60 to 65 pounds Koa is a handsome Husky boy. Because he is missing a back leg, keeping him at a healthy weight will be especially important to reduce stress on his remaining legs and joints. After everything this sweet boy has endured, Koa deserves a home that sees his missing leg as a tiny footnote compared with the enormous heart attached to it. Koa is happy. Koa is loving. Koa is resilient. And Koa is ready to go home. #adoptKoa #TripodDog #HuskyLove #ThreeLeggedAndAwesome #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The $200 adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2044407##

Story
We are looking for a new home for our sweet, beautiful dog. Name: Ari Age: 8 years Breed: husky mix Neutered, up to date on vaccines Good with dogs, cats Good with older kids but not little kids We have had him since he was a puppy. He is a great dog — friendly, loving, house-trained, and well-trained. He has been a wonderful companion and has a lot of love to give. He loves people and jumps at any opportunity for pets and scratches. We feel he would be happiest and safest in an adult-only home or a home with older, dog-savvy children. Our one year old accidently hurt him and he hurt her back. Because its unrealistic for us to keep our kids away from him and him away from the kids, we must find him a new home. We have always taught our kids to respect the dog but little kids don't have impulse control and we just cant let this happen again. We want to find him a loving home where he will be cared for and treated as part of the family. He loves being outdoors, walking, and swimming.

Story
Meet Tundra. If you're looking for an easy dog, your search is over. Tundra is the kind of dog people dream about. She's calm, gentle, incredibly well-mannered, fully potty trained, and even knows how to use a dog door. She settles into a home with ease and has the sweet, steady personality that makes her an amazing companion for first-time dog owners, families, or anyone looking for a loyal best friend. At 10 years old, Tundra has all the best parts of having a dog without the puppy chaos. She's happy to relax by your side, enjoys spending time with her people, and still has plenty of life and love to share. She's also been wonderful with every dog she's met. Big or small, young or old, playful or calm—Tundra greets everyone with quiet confidence and respect. If another dog gets a little pushy, she'll politely remind them to mind their manners and then simply walk away. She's mature, balanced, and the kind of dog who makes introductions look easy. Everyone who meets Tundra falls in love with her. Her story hasn't always been this bright. Tundra came to LOLA's after being evacuated from Fremont County Humane because of the ongoing wildfires. Before that, she arrived at their shelter on a cruelty hold after suffering severe neglect. Her coat was so matted it had to be completely shaved, and she needed to lose more than 20 pounds before she could safely undergo the dental procedure she desperately needed. Thanks to months of love and exceptional care from the Fremont County Humane team, Tundra made an incredible transformation. She reached a healthy weight of around 75 pounds, had her dental completed, and is now feeling fantastic. She's back to happily eating dry kibble and enjoying life. The staff at Fremont County Humane loved Tundra deeply. When they learned she was coming to LOLA's and finally getting the chance to leave the shelter, there were happy tears. They knew she deserved so much more than a kennel—they knew she deserved a family who would love her for the rest of her life. Now it's our turn to make that happen. Tundra has already overcome so much. What she deserves now is simple: a soft bed, people who adore her, and a place to finally call home. If you've been waiting for an easy, loving, loyal companion, Tundra is waiting for you. We have a feeling whoever adopts her is going to wonder how they got so lucky. ##2784355##
