Story
Meet Reya.  Also known as: Baby Wolf, The Tiny Cryptid, and occasionally “WHAT ARE YOU EATING?!” Reya is a 10-month-old husky mix packed into a suspiciously small package. Think “forest goblin trapped in a Disney princess body.” She is beautiful, loud, chaotic, and only partially domesticated. Reya came pre-installed with husky software, meaning she has many important opinions and would like everyone to hear them immediately. She enjoys: - Screaming - Barking at cats - Barking at ghosts - Barking because the wind moved weirdly - Destroying house plants with artistic passion - Playing with dogs like it’s the WWE People? She’s still deciding about them. When Reya first arrived, it took her about a month to allow physical contact. So if you’re looking for a dog that immediately wants to cuddle on the couch while you watch Netflix, Baby Wolf would like to respectfully decline your application. However, if you enjoy earning the trust of a tiny feral woodland creature one painfully slow step at a time, congratulations — you may be her type. Reya’s ideal home includes: - A secure yard (because she absolutely has “disappear into the wilderness” energy) - Another dog or dogs (seriously, she prefers dogs over people and honestly? Fair.) - A secure crate while unattended/nighttime (Ruffland or Impact strongly recommended because this child has raccoon-level problem-solving abilities.) - Patient humans who understand that trust is earned, not downloaded overnight - Earplugs Additional Important Notes: - She is potty trained… HOWEVER… if left unattended in the house, she may quietly sneak away and leave behind a mysterious little secret puddle as a gift - Keep flowers and houseplants out of reach unless you hate them anyway - She is loud - She is chaos - She is gorgeous - She may or may not be haunted - She LOVES dogs - She contains approximately 3% manners and 97% woodland spirit Underneath all the chaos, Reya is an incredibly special dog who just needs the right humans to let her settle in at her own pace. Once she trusts you, you’ll have the privilege of being emotionally adopted by a tiny screaming wolf. Apply if you’re patient, have a sense of humor, and aren’t emotionally attached to your houseplants. Put in an application at EAPL.com Her adoption fee is $375July 16, 2026, 8:44 am

Story
Meet Chelsea! If you are looking for a lovable, treat-motivated companion who is eager to please, look no further. Chelsea is a resilient girl who is soaking up everything the "good life" has to offer. I am the definition of a "work in progress" in the best way possible! I’ve already mastered "sit" and am currently working hard on "down" and "come." While everything in the neighborhood is still a bit new and sparkly to me, I am becoming braver every day. I’m learning fast! I just had my first zero-accident day, and I’m very proud of myself. I prefer to be near my people. If my crate is in the bedroom, I settle in beautifully for a full 8 hours of sleep. I might give a tiny whimper for a minute at bedtime, but once I have my "night-night treat," I’m a mellow girl until my 6:00 AM potty break. I am VERY treat-motivated. I’m currently (still) learning that kitchen counters aren't for me and that I don’t need to eat my dinner in record time. On walks, I’m a "stop and smell the roses" kind of girl. I can be a little timid when I see other dogs or loud bikes, but my foster mom says I’m very brave—if you show me a treat, I can politely sit and watch them pass by or walk right on through. I haven't met cats or young children yet, but I absolutely adore the young adults in my foster home. My perfect family would be:  Patient & Loving: Someone ready to continue my leash and potty training. Active: I have good energy and love several long walks a day followed by a deep snuggle. A "People" Person: I love being with my humans. While I’m working on my independence, I’d love a home where I’m not alone for long stretches right away. I promise to reward your time and training with a lifetime of snuggles and loyalty. I’m just a sweet girl looking for someone to show me the ropes and provide some clear boundaries!  ##2627770##

Story
Odin was adopted from Humane Colorado and is a high-energy, very intelligent, 6-year-old husky mixed with border collie, with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is very sweet, fully house-trained, and can be quite talkative at times, which only adds to his charm. Odin would thrive as the only dog in the home and is looking for an active person or family who can provide consistent daily walks and would enjoy taking him on hikes and adventures. Odin is a loyal and loving companion who is in search of a family who can match his needs.

Story
Available starting 07/19/26! Tri-pawd alert! Pogo is a sweet and beautiful girl born without her front right leg. Although she won't be a running or long hiking dog, she doesn't let it slow her down. She runs, jumps and plays like a normal puppy. Just may take more breaks than normal pups.  She is coming along nicely in potty training, prefers going outside but will have occasional accidents. Normal puppy moments but overall not mouthy. Loves other animals. Pogo is an amazing puppy! If interested please do a little research on what to expect with a front limb tripod and then apply! ##2780592##

Story
Grickle Grass (Lorax anyone?) is a gem. He has a very chill personality that immediately endeared him to the grumpy old dogs and tough-guy cat in his foster home. Grick is a low energy guy who approaches new experiences slowly and thoughtfully. He prefers canine playmates that are similarly chill.  Grick loves to be carried on his back like a baby, but we’ll see how long that lasts. He is going to be a very big dog-- likely over 100 lbs. Grickle’s mother looks like a husky and we’re guessing Dad is a livestock guardian breed-- someone very large and very fluffy. Great Pyrenees? Note that while Grick’s fluff helps to make him adorable, it will require upkeep. He needs an adopter who enjoys brushing dogs or has the resources to take him for professional grooming. At less than 3 months old Grickle is already mostly house trained and sleeps through the night in his crate. But he is still learning about the Big World and needs an adopter with the time and desire to socialize and guide him. You will be richly rewarded. Grickle's sweet, easy going temperament makes him a joy to have around.  Fostered in Lyons, CO Grickle practicing "sit" with his pack:  https://youtube.com/shorts/6ov7dDITLtE?si=04TlfZO_9Hl_IqBL Grickle's burst of playfulness: https://youtube.com/shorts/7sgDiSFNcTo?si=iy7C3Dr4gd8rCSL8 ##2780401##

Story
Dusty is a gentle-natured, easygoing young gentleman who's ready for the pampered doggie life he deserves! He's sweet, eager to please, and looking for an active family or couple to continue helping him grow. He's potty & crate trained and knows outside is the place to go; he's still learning how to ask when the door is closed. A doggie door would be a perfect fit. Dusty loves food, loves water (maybe a little too much ), and is starting to find his adorable voice. He may even "talk back" when you chat with him! He's also working on his leash manners. Dusty MUST have another friendly dog in his forever home; he isn't suited to being an only dog. He will do best in a home with children 12 or older who will respect that he's a big, goofy pup still learning good manners. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion to add to your pack, Dusty just might be your perfect match. Dusty us fostered in Woodland Park. You can meet him this weekend!! Adoption event in Golden Petco at 17132 W. Colfax Ave Golden, 80401 from 11am - 2pm on July 11th.  ##2747928##
