Story
Zena is a sweet and gentle mixed-breed puppy with a calm, loving nature. She enjoys playing with her sister Zara but is also content to relax on a dog bed with her favorite toy. Zena is a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she becomes a loyal and affectionate companion. She loves to be held and has the softest coat—perfect for cuddles. Zena is currently pad trained but has not yet learned to go potty outside, so she will need continued house-training support. She is just beginning to learn about harnesses and leashes and will benefit from positive, patient guidance as she gains confidence. Zena eats kibble from Petco and is doing well in her foster home. She does well with new people and other dogs, though her behavior around children, cats, and other pets is still unknown. Her energy level ranges from medium to high, with bursts of playfulness followed by quiet rest. Zena would thrive in a loving home that can offer her a steady routine, gentle training, and plenty of affection. If you're looking for a calm, cuddly, and devoted puppy, Zena may be just the companion you're looking for. Apply to meet her today. ##2385077##

Story
Zara is a young mixed-breed puppy with a bright personality and a heart full of love. Outgoing and friendly, she enjoys playing with her sister Zina and especially loves squeaky toys. Zara is currently pad trained but is still learning to go potty outside, so she’ll benefit from continued house-training. She hasn’t been introduced to a leash or harness yet and will need some guidance as she learns. Zara eats kibble from Petco and is thriving in her foster home. She does very well with new people and other dogs, though her behavior around children, cats, and other pets is still unknown. Zara is very smart and curious—so smart, in fact, that she can jump over baby gates unless they’re extra tall. Like many puppies, she’s full of energy and always exploring, so it’s best to keep books and valuables up high and out of reach. Zara will make a wonderful addition to a home ready to provide her with love, structure, and continued training. If you’re looking for a playful and devoted companion, Zara could be the perfect fit. Apply to meet her today. ##2385074##

Story
Cub is the coolest dog ever and will be a fantastic addition to the right family. Unfortunately I cannot keep him stuck in an apartment, I’ll have to bring him back to the shelter where they will put him back on a bunch of meds he does not need if I can’t find a home for him ASAP. Cub has made great progress with training, he walks like a dream on a leash and rarely reacts to other dogs or wildlife anymore, which is awesome! He does amazing walking on a leash. Separation anxiety occasionally leads to some exploratory and destructive behavior and rare marking when left to roam. He would benefit from a home with a yard and a 6' fence. I also think he would love to be part of a pack with another well-balanced dog(s) to guide him. When I adopted Cub, he was listed as a poodle/chow-chow mix. A DNA test revealed over 50% husky along with chunks of Alaskan Malamute, Gray Wolf, and GSD. Cub is in need of a new home with rescue experience, ideally with huskies in particular.

Story
Meet Meeko! She's a 2.5 year old Husky Malamute mix with the sweetest personality. I rescued her 2 years ago when I moved to Denver, but unfortunately I work way too much to give her the time she deserves and needs. She needs someone who ideally works from home and has a fenced in yard for her to run. She is NOT a city dog, or an apartment dog. I will not allow her to go to anyone who doesn't possess these two requirements. She is amazing with other dogs, cats, and children.

Story
Say hello to Panda, a sweet and spirited husky mix puppy with a curious mind, endless energy, and a tendency to insert himself right into the middle of the action—sometimes literally. Whether he's climbing into your lap uninvited to use you as a jungle gym or deciding your head is the optimal place to nap, Panda is a pup who makes his own rules and lives life with enthusiasm. He’s playful, full of wiggles, and always up for whatever’s going on. Panda is a typical puppy who’s working on potty training, chewing on all the things, and getting into anything he thinks might be interesting! He’s clever and observant, and he definitely enjoys being part of the hustle and bustle. He’s also obsessed with food, which will likely make training extra motivating. His love for food and being part of everything often means he’s sprawled across his foster mom’s feet anytime she stands still in the kitchen. As a husky mix, Panda will do best in a home that’s ready for an active, intelligent dog with a side of stubbornness. Huskies are known for being energetic, social, and a little bit dramatic. They thrive on interaction and need plenty of opportunities to exercise both their bodies and minds. They don’t do well when left alone for long periods—and if they are, they may get creative: finding escape routes, redecorating your yard, or offering loud opinions. Huskies also tend to shed quite a bit, so regular grooming is a must. But with the right outlet, they’re joyful, loyal, and endlessly entertaining companions. Panda is looking for a home that will embrace his husky nature—likely to shine through more as he grows—and guide him as he transforms from a goofy pup into a confident, well-rounded dog. If you’re up for a little chaos, a lot of fun, and the occasional nap with a puppy on your face, Panda might just be your perfect match. ##2372421##

Meet Domino          Male | Medium–High Energy Domino is a total love bug who is ready to pour his heart into his forever family. Outgoing and affectionate, Domino loves his people deeply and always wants to be close. He’s already doing well on a leash, is potty trained, and enjoys showing his affection with big, happy hugs—something he’s working on refining with a little more training. While he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other dogs, Domino has shown friendly behavior around them and would likely enjoy making new canine friends. He has beautiful long hair that's easy to brush, and he actually enjoys his grooming sessions, making bonding time even sweeter. Hi I'm Moonie! I'm a really sweet guy that is friendly and outgoing with people and great with other dogs. I love getting attention and snuggling when I'm sleepy, but am also very playful and energetic. I enjoy toys and treat time and going on adventures with my foster family.  I am looking for a fairly active home with lots of people around, another dog would be great,  and lots of activities to go to! I have the potential to be a pretty big dog based on my breeds as well.  If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $400 and I will be neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations for my age prior to adoption ##2370616##
