Please help this sweet boy! We adopted Dakota 5 years ago, looking for a companion dog who would be a good protector. He is very well trained. He is a 7 year old mostly Husky mix with 1 blue eye and a big heart. He has had some reactivity to high energy/aggressive dogs in the past. He is doing better and enjoys walks and hikes with no major issues. He doesn't get along with boisterous children and needs an adult only home. We ended up with a young puppy and Dakota hasn't been happy but he has not been at all reactive. He prefers to be the only dog. We are about to move and are not able to have two dogs anymore. We are looking for a couple or a single person with no kids and no other dogs or cats. Dakota is a great dog and loves to be with people who can be his pack, take him on hikes, and hang out with him. He loves the outdoors and camping too. Please help this smart and affectionate boy find a home. He has good health insurance and comes with all supplies including his bed.

He loves sitting out in the yard in the sun. When he's not chewing his rope toy or chasing his ball, you can find him sprawling out in the Colorado sunshine. Rocky is potty trained - having no accidents in the house. Although due to his age, he does need to be let our every few hours.
