Meet Zay, a handsome German Shepherd-Husky mix with a big goofy heart and an even bigger personality. He can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but give him a bit of time and you'll see him warm up into a sweet, affectionate companion. Zay's favorite pastime is carrying around his toys-lovingly known as "his babies"-and he takes that job very seriously. Once he feels comfortable, his playful, gentle nature really shines. Zay would do best with a patient adopter who's ready to let him build trust and show off his lovable side. Zay is recommended for a family with older or no children at this time. Story
Please help this sweet boy! We adopted Dakota 5 years ago, looking for a companion dog who would be a good protector. He is very well trained. He is a 7 year old mostly Husky mix with 1 blue eye and a big heart. He has had some reactivity to high energy/aggressive dogs in the past. He is doing better and enjoys walks and hikes with no major issues. He doesn't get along with boisterous children and needs an adult only home. We ended up with a young puppy and Dakota hasn't been happy but he has not been at all reactive. He prefers to be the only dog. We are about to move and are not able to have two dogs anymore. We are looking for a couple or a single person with no kids and no other dogs or cats. Dakota is a great dog and loves to be with people who can be his pack, take him on hikes, and hang out with him. He loves the outdoors and camping too. Please help this smart and affectionate boy find a home. He has good health insurance and comes with all supplies including his bed.

Story
Meet Poncho, a remarkable 4.5-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who’s searching for his forever home. Rescued from a high-kill shelter after his previous owner had to move and couldn’t take him along, Poncho is a unique and lovable companion with a heart of gold. Poncho is a good-natured and sweet dog who does well with middle to large dogs and is incredibly intelligent. He prefers to spend most of his time outside and doesn’t seek out cuddles or furniture, but he shows his affection in his own special ways. His high energy levels and need for mental stimulation mean he thrives with proper exercise and engaging activities. Ideal for someone who works from home, Poncho doesn’t like to be alone and may struggle with separation, especially at first. He can be a bit vocal, giving you an earful as huskies are known to do, but his charming personality and loving nature make him an exceptional companion. Poncho is a special dog who will bring joy and loyalty to the right home. If you’re looking for a unique and devoted friend who’s ready to become a cherished part of your life, Poncho is the one for you.

Meet Teddy, a spirited 3-year-old Husky mix with a zest for life! This energetic and playful girl is looking for a home where she can truly shine. Story
Meet Rosie-Roo, a gentle noodle of a puppy who is only getting more confident by the day. Once she feels safe, her shell melts away to reveal a playful, curious, and deeply affectionate girl. She loves wrestling with her foster sibling and has plenty of energy for fun, turning into an absolute goofball with a heart of gold.  While she’s a social butterfly, she also takes her downtime just as seriously. She is a "professional snuggler" who loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with people she trusts after a long day. She is a joy to have around the house because she is so eager to please. A total foodie, she will do just about anything for treats, making her a star student for your future training. She’s getting very good at potty training and almost all the way there, including sleeping through the night. With a pocket full of treats and cuddles to share, you’ll have a loyal, confident and fun-loving companion for life.   ##2634975##

Story
Meet Pour Over, a smart and independent dog with a goofy streak that lights up the shelter. While she loves her independence, she`s also quite clever. Pour Over prefers a calm environment and would thrive in a home where any children present are 10+ due to her sensitivities with body handling. Pour Over also prefers to be the center of attention, and would do best in a home with no other dogs. At the shelter, volunteers and staff alike love spending time with this mellow girl. Our Volunteers have called her `super sweet` and `easy going!` They`ve also pointed out that she knows how to sit and shake! Adopting Pour Over means bringing home a loyal and intelligent companion who will keep you entertained and engaged. She`s ready to pour her heart into a loving forever home. What I Need In a Home:* Kids 10+ required* No other dogs

Pooka is a lover- loves to play, loves to eat, loves to watch, loves to learn, loves to snuggle, the list goes on. He is potty trained with a dog door and is learning basic commands. He would do great with kids and another doggy friend for sure!  He’s very patient for a puppy but won’t hesitate to play those beautiful husky vocal cords when he’s done waiting!  ##2630617##
