Story
Birthdate:  10/07/2024Breed: One of a kindWeight:   52.6 lbs Say hello to Miles — a young, handsome marshmallow of a pup with eyes so stunning they should probably come with a warning label! Seriously, one look into those dreamy eyes and you’ll be a goner. Miles is the total heartthrob — playful, goofy, and full of personality. He’s the kind of dog who can turn an ordinary day into an adventure just by being himself. He loves to zoom around, show off his handsome good looks, and then crash for some serious cuddle time. This sweet boy is equal parts silly and snuggly — the perfect combo! He’s ready to find someone who appreciates his charm, energy, and maybe doesn’t mind a little bit of drool now and then. If you’re looking for a fun-loving pup with looks that could stop traffic and a heart made of pure gold, Miles is your guy. Come meet him… if you dare to fall in love at first sight! The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.November 26, 2025, 12:43 am

Story
Hey there, I’m North — an 8-month-old Husky/Shiba Inu/Poodle mix, about 24 pounds, and ready to be your very own North Star. I’m not hypoallergenic, but I shine in all the ways that really count: I’m a total sweetie pie, playful, and full of personality. I love life, I love people, and I really love being noticed — if you look my way, my tail is already going. I’m a playful girl who likes to run around, explore, and make everything feel like a little adventure. I also really like attention and affection, so don’t be surprised if I gently nudge my way into your lap or lean against you to remind you I’m there. I’m the daughter of Ms. Merry! I’m the sibling of Angel and Noelle (who are also looking for their own forever homes), and just like a North Star, I’m hoping to guide my future family toward a lot of joy and love. I’d be a great match for someone who wants a fun, loving companion who will follow them through life with a wagging tail and bright eyes. If you’ve been looking for a little star to light up your home, I’d love to be your North. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hello friends! I’m Noelle — an 8-month-old Husky/Shiba Inu/Poodle mix, about 23 pounds, with a soft heart and a playful spirit. At first, I take a tiny bit of time to warm up, but give me a few minutes and my tail will be wagging and I’ll be right by your side. Once I know you’re kind, my super sweet personality comes out and I’m all in on being your friend. I’m very playful and love to run around, explore, and turn any space into my own little playground. I’m the kind of pup who can make you laugh just by being myself. I’m the sibling of North and Angel, and just like them, I’m hoping for a forever home where I can feel safe, loved, and included. I’m also the pup of Ms. Merry. I’d do great with someone who understands that a little patience at the beginning leads to a lifetime of affection and fun. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful girl who will blossom into your loyal companion, I’d love to meet you. Story
I’m Angel — an 8-month-old Husky/Shiba Inu/Poodle mix with 23 pounds of pure halo-level cuteness. I’m not hypoallergenic, but I’m absolutely overflowing with love and sweetness. People say my name fits me perfectly because I’m so friendly and gentle with everyone I meet. I light up when someone notices me, and I’m always ready to trot over, wagging my tail, to say hello. I really like being pet loved on — if you sit down, there’s a good chance I’ll magically appear at your side, looking up at you like, “Is it snuggle o’clock yet?” I’m affectionate, people-oriented, and I want to be where you are. I’m the daughter of Ms. Merry. I’m also the sister of North and Noelle, and together we’re like a little pack of holiday angels looking for our own happy endings. I’d be perfect for a home that wants a sweet, loving, playful companion who will follow them around like a fluffy, four-legged guardian. If you’ve been hoping for a little Angel to love you unconditionally, I’m right here, ready to spread some joy.
