Hi! I'm Dodger, your future best friend! I'm young, full of energy, and always ready for an adventure. I would be happy to share these adventures with teens and possibly another dog. I've mastered my basic obedience skills and I'm crate trained too, so we can jump right into the fun stuff! Whether it's exploring new trails or learning new tricks, I'm all in. I’m also quite the charmer and love meeting new friends. Looking for a playful, curious companion to add excitement to your life? I'm your guy! Let's start our adventure together!

Story
Hi there! I'm Bolt, your future adventure buddy! I'm only 1 year old, super playful, and a bit of a goofball. I love exploring and am always up for a good run or a sneaky trick to make you laugh. I was found as a stray, but my prior family's loss can be your gain because I am super social! I can see myself fitting right into a home with energetic teens and maybe even another dog to be my partner in crime. If you're looking for a loyal friend who's always ready for the next big adventure, I'm your guy! Why not come by and let me show you how much fun we can have together?

Story
Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. After being rescued from an overcrowded backyard situation, this sweet boy has blossomed in foster care and is now ready to find his forever family.   Cubby has discovered the joys of life—walks, playtime, snuggles, and, most of all, people! He’s affectionate, smart, and always seems to be trying to understand everything around him with those expressive eyes. He’s especially great with children and loves being part of a family.   An energetic and athletic pup, Cubby thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, hiking, backpacking, playing fetch, running beside a bike, and splashing in the water. If you lead an active lifestyle, Cubby might just be your perfect match. And when the day is done? He’s happy to chill on his dog bed, content just being near his people.   Cubby currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog buddy—or as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise and enrichment.   Cubby is not just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, hiking partner, and forever friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. All he needs is a family who will give him the active, loving home he deserves.    Fostered in Tennessee   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own.  She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her.  She is crate trained and just fine.  She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings.  As cute as she is, they are not interested.  The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day.  Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection.  She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady!   Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her.  She is a beauty.   A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed.  She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way.  Please consider making this girl's Cinderella Story come true NOW!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 10, 2026, 10:55 pm

Birthdate:  03/11/2025Breed: One of a kindWeight:   45lbsMeet Snowy! Snowy is a dreamy, cloud-soft sweetheart who’s guaranteed to melt your heart the moment you meet her. This gentle girl is as affectionate as they come—start petting her and she’ll happily flop over for belly rubs without hesitation! She absolutely lives for love and will lean right into you for more cuddles.Snowy is a happy, playful pup who enjoys walks, playtime, and, of course, tasty treats (her favorite!). She already knows how to sit and is eager to please, especially when snacks are involved. She loves being pet and will happily soak up all the attention you give her. Snowy can get a little excited and bouncy when she’s having fun, but it’s all part of her joyful, loving personality. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will shower you with love and keep you smiling, Snowy is your girl! The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://www.pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire . If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.September 11, 2026, 6:24 am
