Story
My name is Astra and my sister and I, both landed in a shelter that is run by some very nice people.  They have reached out to Critter Cavalry Rescue to ask for help getting us out and in to a foster or forever home.  We do not have to go together but we are both very sweet 5 month old, 19 pound Husky/Aussie mix girls who are very happy and loving.  We need a nice active life with a couple, a single athletic person, or a family with children would be great too!  My coat of fur is super soft like an Aussie and my pretty ears stand up like the Husky breed.  I am going to be a 50-55 pound girl when I grow up and I bet I get lots of attention when you take me on walks.  I am ready for a new life with a fenced yard and lots of people for me to love!  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested and please tell them where you live…city and state.  ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 22, 2024, 1:56 pm

Story
Have you ever seen such an unusual Husky as this girl we call, Beautiful Berkley?   She looks like a cross between a Husky and a Wolf but that is all circumstantial but she sure does have that smoky, mysterious Wolf look to her face.  Her blue eyes definitely anchor her heritage in the Husky breed and she is young at just 2.5 years of age and 65 pounds.  This girl might look serious and formidable but she is a true lover who wants to romp and play fetch and then roll over for belly rubs and then will give you a kiss for treating to such special attention.  This girl has energy as you might expect from a young Husky.  She needs an exercise oriented human who can provide her with a fenced yard and who will work with time to play together.  Beautiful Berkley is wonderful with children and other dogs but does have the Husky prey drive and we will not allow her to go to a home with any cats at all.  We are so excited at what lies around the corner for Beautiful Berkley.  If you are interested in her please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 22, 2024, 1:56 pm

Story
Danica is a gorgeous Husky/Aussie mix girl with the wonderful blue eyes and riveting beauty that touches everyone’s soul when they meet her.  She landed in a small town Kentucky shelter that has a euthanization rate and we feared for her life.  Found at a Pizza place on a busy highway her owner was contacted and he opted not to come pick her up so off to the shelter she went.  She was fortunately pulled from the shelter and now has the most wonderful opportunity to gain the perfect  home and family that Critter Cavalry Rescue has promised to find. This is young 1-2 year old girl that weighs about 45 pounds and is a perfect medium size.  She is fabulous with people and seems to do well with other dogs.  We have not cat tested her.  She is housebroken, learning the leash so 50/50 in that category of being good.  She is smart as a whip and eager to learn and be taught things.  She is a true beauty that would make any family or person proud to call their own.  If you are interested, please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 22, 2024, 1:56 pm

Story
This gorgeous girl is so lucky to be alive! We were driving down a busy four lane highway when we spotted her run across the highway barely missing getting run down by a large box truck. She ran into the parking lot of a Dollar General so we immediately pulled into the parking lot and luckily she ran up to our van and jumped right in! We tried and tried to find her owner but to no avail. It's hard to see in the pics but she has one blue eye and one golden eye. We suspect she had a little Husky in her but we did a DNA anyway, lots and lots of breeds in her DNA, including 5% Chihuahua! She's a super mutt! Clarice is spayed, fully vaccinated, crate trained and microchipped. She is available for immediate transport PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $600

Hello Im Sky, believed to be around 7 or 8 according to the vet. Im a big baby who loves to run, play and jump. My current owner took me in 2 years ago from some crazy lady beating me in the park. She gave a wonderful time at her home. Unfortunately she is having a hard time with finding someone to watch me when she goes away with the military. Im a good dog I have a old sole and love to cuddle. I bark more than I howl and my howl sounds like a cross between a growl and a howI. love my toys so please dont take them away.

Story
Hello there! I'm Olly, your cuddly companion with an adorable heart-shaped nose! Currently nestled in a loving foster home in New Jersey, I'm about 18 weeks old and weigh a charming 20 pounds. Originally part of a lively litter of five pups, my siblings and I were discovered under the nurturing care of our mother, Molly. Despite our humble beginnings of being dirty and hungry, we've been basking in affection ever since. I'm a bright little pup, eager to learn and grow alongside you. With the right guidance, I'll master housebreaking and all the other delightful puppy milestones. Plus, being so young, I'm open to bonding with children, other dogs, and even cats! All I need is a patient family willing to provide me with the proper training to help me reach my full potential. My siblings and I are all age-appropriately vaccinated and have already made the journey to New Jersey. While my siblings have found their forever homes, my sister Holly and I are still eagerly searching for ours. If you're interested in welcoming sweet baby Olly into your home, please visit www.peace4paws.org and fill out an adoption application. If you have specific adoption or foster questions, please email: judy.atchison@yahoo.com THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN RESCUING A DOG! Story
Meet Kris, the beautiful 3-year-old husky mix with a heart as big as the sky and a spirit as wild as the wind. Weighing in at 45 pound with one mesmerizing blue eye, Kris is a bundle of boundless joy and handsomeness.  But Kris isn't just about looks – he's got the personality to match. He's as sweet as they come, with a gentle demeanor and a kind spirit that make him a friend to all - be it human, dog, or even cat - Kris welcomes you with open paws and the most welcoming smile. He was abandoned by his previous family when they moved away, resulting in him finding refuge in an outdoor Kentucky shelter. That's when fate brought him to us.  Kris is proudly housebroken, along with being neutered and up to date on all his vaccines, making him the paw-fect companion for any home. But don't let his shy side fool you – this fluffy fellow knows how to have a good time. If you're looking for a furry friend to join your tribe, look no further than Kris. Story
Stella is a timid but sweet pup with stunning crystal blue eyes. She warms up quickly and then is a fun playful pup, very dog-friendly, and will be a great companion for a family that wants to include her in their adventures and activities. She was found by a Good Samaritan hiding under a car a few months ago, but they were unable to keep her unfortunately. Stella is 35lbs right now at 6-7 months old and we think will grow to be a medium sized dog. A shelter is no place for a puppy to grow up, and we are hoping to get her into a home very soon! please submit an application to meet her Primary Color: Fawn Weight: 34 Age: 0yrs 7mths 0wks
