About Gianna: Gender: Female Age: 2 Yrs Weight: 41 lbs Breed: Husky/German Shepherd (GSD) Spayed: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Microchipped: Yes Adoption Fee:  $250.00 (plus tax)   Dogs: Gianna loves to play with other dogs and we would love to place her in a home with another dog who is close to her size.    Cats: Gianna sees cats as squeaky toys, so she’s a no on cats.  does not do well with cats.   Kids: Gianna She has done great with older children (12+).  The quick movements of younger kids are a little overwhelming for her.    Crate Trained: Yes, she’s great about going in her crate when needs to be in it.    Housebroken: Yes, and she will go to the door to let you know she would like to go out.   Leash Manners: Gianna is easy to walk and she would LOVE to have a hiking partner.     Training: Gianna knows sit, down, come and crate reliably. She’s treat motivated and eager to learn.     Home Recommendation: Gianna would do best in an active home. Gianna has a typical German Shepherd temperament with regards to new people…a little cautious.   At home however she is sweet, spunky and full of energy.  She loves her people with her whole heart and is completely devoted to them.    She loves to play fetch, will be your constant companion and will love you like no other dog has!   Gianna is absolutely amazing and will make a wonderful addition to her forever home.    If you’re interested in meeting this amazing pup, please fill out an application at www.pawprintsnky.com. Her listing will be removed as soon as he has an approved application Most importantly, please be honest!  We have many people tell us what they think we want to read, not what's truthful.  If there are discrepancies, your application will be denied.  It's important for us to place dogs in a home that's suitable.  You may be a stellar owner but possibly not a good fit for the dog you were first interested in adopting.  We're not trying to offend anyone, we're trying to set everyone up for success.    We're a best fit rescue and will verify your vet and personal references.  May 1, 2024, 2:43 pm

Story
It is with great sadness that we are looking to rehome our dog, Pierogi. Pierogi has developed anxiety over the years, and we are looking for a quieter home environment that fits her needs. Pierogi is a 4-year-old, husky mix. She is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations. The only medication she takes is for heartworm/flea prevention. She is house broken and crate trained. Pierogi knows basic commands: sit, stay, down, wait, and leave it. I would describe Pierogi as medium to low energy. To accommodate her needs, Pierogi will need to be the only animal in the household and will require a fenced in backyard. Pierogi is the goofiest, snuggliest, and sweetest dog who deserves an environment where she can thrive. If you or you know of anyone who may be interested in adopting a silly and loving fur baby, please let me know!

Story
Introducing Lola.  Lola is a Pomeranian Husky mix.  Yes you read that right, a Pomsky&#226&#128&#188&#239&#184&#143 She is 21 lbs, 6 years old and is just adorable. When she arrived on Monday she was very scared and would keep her distance. With patience she has already advanced to sitting relaxed on my lap today.  She is looking for someone to give her time to feel safe and would do well with a dog sibling to follow their lead. She is doing great with her foster siblings. She is crate trained and is working on house training.  Apply today at  adoptastray.comMay 8, 2024, 7:42 pm
