Diamond is exactly that, a Diamond. He is beautiful, eye-catching, and a gem! Diamond is around 2 years old. Diamond enjoys spending time with his humans and soaking up the sun. He enjoys telling you about his day and howling at passing fire trucks. Diamond enjoys hanging outside in the play yard and getting his daily zoomies out. He aims to be the best boy he can be for his people. He also prefers his female dog friends. Diamond is patiently waiting for his forever home! He hopes that can be you! Someone wanting to go on adventures but also hang out at home!

Story
If you’re looking for a typical husky, Kai is not your guy! You may have seen him on the loose in Grant County KY for a long time. He was trapped and then spent several more weeks at a shelter. The shelter staff loved him, but it was not a great place for Kai to try to get over his recent trauma of presumably being dumped and lost for so long. Kai is timid at first , not aggressive but will run and hide from people. Once he warms up he is a sweet boy and does not have the typical characteristics a husky may have. He is quiet and not destructive. He is amazing with cats and will need another dog in the home to help with his confidence- he is great with them and will follow their lead. He is good on a leash but still freezes sometimes if he hears a loud noise. With encouragement and another dog he completes walks just fine. He is housebroken. He will do best in a fenced yard and with no small children due to him being scared of loud noises and movements while settling in. Kai has been an absolute joy to foster and watch bloom, and he will need a patient and understanding family. June 6, 2026, 7:33 pm

About Gianna: Gender: Female Age: 2 Yrs Weight: 41 lbs Breed: Husky/German Shepherd (GSD) Spayed: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Microchipped: Yes Adoption Fee:  $250.00 (plus tax)   Dogs: Gianna loves to play with other dogs and we would love to place her in a home with another dog who is close to her size.    Cats: Gianna sees cats as squeaky toys, so she’s a no on cats.  does not do well with cats.   Kids: Gianna She has done great with older children (12+).  The quick movements of younger kids are a little overwhelming for her.    Crate Trained: Yes, she’s great about going in her crate when needs to be in it.    Housebroken: Yes, and she will go to the door to let you know she would like to go out.   Leash Manners: Gianna is easy to walk and she would LOVE to have a hiking partner.     Training: Gianna knows sit, down, come and crate reliably. She’s treat motivated and eager to learn.     Home Recommendation: Gianna would do best in an active home. Gianna has a typical German Shepherd temperament with regards to new people…a little cautious.   At home however she is sweet, spunky and full of energy.  She loves her people with her whole heart and is completely devoted to them.    She loves to play fetch, will be your constant companion and will love you like no other dog has!   Gianna is absolutely amazing and will make a wonderful addition to her forever home.    If you’re interested in meeting this amazing pup, please fill out an application at www.pawprintsnky.com. Her listing will be removed as soon as he has an approved application Most importantly, please be honest!  We have many people tell us what they think we want to read, not what's truthful.  If there are discrepancies, your application will be denied.  It's important for us to place dogs in a home that's suitable.  You may be a stellar owner but possibly not a good fit for the dog you were first interested in adopting.  We're not trying to offend anyone, we're trying to set everyone up for success.    We're a best fit rescue and will verify your vet and personal references.  March 16, 2026, 12:18 am
