About Gianna: Gender: Female Age: 2 Yrs Weight: 41 lbs Breed: Husky/German Shepherd (GSD) Spayed: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Microchipped: Yes Adoption Fee:  $250.00 (plus tax)   Dogs: Gianna loves to play with other dogs and we would love to place her in a home with another dog who is close to her size.    Cats: Gianna sees cats as squeaky toys, so she’s a no on cats.  does not do well with cats.   Kids: Gianna She has done great with older children (12+).  The quick movements of younger kids are a little overwhelming for her.    Crate Trained: Yes, she’s great about going in her crate when needs to be in it.    Housebroken: Yes, and she will go to the door to let you know she would like to go out.   Leash Manners: Gianna is easy to walk and she would LOVE to have a hiking partner.     Training: Gianna knows sit, down, come and crate reliably. She’s treat motivated and eager to learn.     Home Recommendation: Gianna would do best in an active home. Gianna has a typical German Shepherd temperament with regards to new people…a little cautious.   At home however she is sweet, spunky and full of energy.  She loves her people with her whole heart and is completely devoted to them.    She loves to play fetch, will be your constant companion and will love you like no other dog has!   Gianna is absolutely amazing and will make a wonderful addition to her forever home.    If you’re interested in meeting this amazing pup, please fill out an application at www.pawprintsnky.com. Her listing will be removed as soon as he has an approved application Most importantly, please be honest!  We have many people tell us what they think we want to read, not what's truthful.  If there are discrepancies, your application will be denied.  It's important for us to place dogs in a home that's suitable.  You may be a stellar owner but possibly not a good fit for the dog you were first interested in adopting.  We're not trying to offend anyone, we're trying to set everyone up for success.    We're a best fit rescue and will verify your vet and personal references.  October 12, 2024, 12:11 pm

Story
SAAP Nation, STOP what you're doing right now and LOOK AT THIS GIRL!   Cindy Lou Who just got to her foster home and I can't believe how stinking CUTE this girl is!   She is 13 lbs at 10 weeks old, believed to be a husky/lab mix and is going to be a big fluffy girl when full grown.    As ADORABLE as she is, Cindy is going to be the FULL puppy experience for whoever adopts her, complete with requiring potty, crate, and obedience training. She will nip fingers, chew on shoes, toys, and any part of your body she can get her little sharp teeth around. She will probably go after your tree, your slippers, and your kiddo's stuffed animals. Not because she's a bad dog, but because she's a normal puppy and will need someone that is ready and willing to work with her, spend time with her, and not be too terribly attached to their sanity for the next few months as she grows. (Puppies...amiright?!?!?).   She has loved ALL the dogs she has met and isn't scared of a thing. Cindy has been playing nonstop with my 6 year old daughter and will love a home with kiddos, dogs, or anyone else that will love and play with her. My assumption is that she would not do well in an apartment or close living environment, and will need a yard and space to burn energy.    If you think this girl sounds like the right fit for your home, apply to #AdoptCindyLouWho at www.adoptastray.com or reply to your approval email today.    December 11, 2025, 12:59 pm
