Meet Sebastian. Sebastian is an adorable 3-month-old, nine-pound Lab/Husky mix, (heavy on the mix). Sebastian, along with his sisters, Arial, Alana and Ursula make up the Little Mermaid Litter. For a litter of young puppies, they are very calm and well behaved, seldom nipping. They like to play, explore, wrestle and snuggle with each other and their foster mom. They make it known when they want something, but overall are not very vocal. They use puppy pads reliably in the pen, and travel well in a car. Based on their parents, they are likely to be medium sized dogs when fully grown. They are beautiful little puppies who love everyone. Sebastian is the only one in the litter that is only black and white, with no brown. He has beautiful black shiny hair with white on his chin and chest and tipped on all four paws. Sebastian is the definition of chill. He’s low key and sometimes a little hesitant, but really likes to sit with his foster mom. He’s just too cool to let people know. He holds his own against his sisters, and is not apposed to a bout of tug-of-war. But he clearly likes to nap on foster mom’s lap the best. Sebastian has puppy energy now, but is likely to be a medium energy dog when full grown. He is very sweet and loving, not to mention amazingly handsome. Like all puppies, he will need to be taught boundaries, but he is very cooperative. Meet Avi! He is the true meaning of rescue. Avi used to live with an abusive owner, until we changed his path! He has come so far, and has been clicker trained, but is still healing and will need a patient adopter who is willing to continue his training. He is about 10 years old and weighs around 55 lbs. He loves everyone he meets, but is not good with children or cats, and doesn't understand why they move so fast. He is slow to trust, but very playful and affectionate once he knows he is safe. Avi will jump a fence that is smaller than 6 ft tall, and will need long daily walks. He currently lives with and loves his boxer bulldog mix foster brother, but knows he is the pretty one! A home with another playful husky or other dog similar in size would be ideal! HUSKY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. CANNOT BE PLACED WITH CHILDREN OR CATS. She is a great dog and very friendly however due to her old age and my current health situation I am unable to give her proper care during these last few years of life. She has a GI mass which has caused her to be underweight and can only eat set quantities of food without issues but she still like to be pet and play.

Sasha was left behind at a hotel in San Antonio.  Her family had been a guest and decided to leave her behind when they left.  Lucky for her, the hotel called our vet and asked for help.  This beauty is very smart and active.  She  needs a family that is going to keep her busy.  This breed has to have a job to be happy.  Are you looking for a walking or running buddy?   Do you think you would like to enter working dog classes in your spare time?  If so, this is your girl. She needs an active  family to walk with, play with in the back yard, and run around chasing toys. Sasha is about 2 years old, 58 pounds and $300 to adopt. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
