She’s treat motivated and eager to learn.     Home Recommendation: Gianna would do best in an active home. Gianna has a typical German Shepherd temperament with regards to new people…a little cautious.   At home however she is sweet, spunky and full of energy.  She loves her people with her whole heart and is completely devoted to them.    She loves to play fetch, will be your constant companion and will love you like no other dog has!   Gianna is absolutely amazing and will make a wonderful addition to her forever home.    If you’re interested in meeting this amazing pup, please fill out an application at www.pawprintsnky.com. Her listing will be removed as soon as he has an approved application Most importantly, please be honest!  We have many people tell us what they think we want to read, not what's truthful.  If there are discrepancies, your application will be denied.  It's important for us to place dogs in a home that's suitable.  You may be a stellar owner but possibly not a good fit for the dog you were first interested in adopting.  We're not trying to offend anyone, we're trying to set everyone up for success.    We're a best fit rescue and will verify your vet and personal references.  October 12, 2024, 12:11 pm

Story
Looking for a new furry edition to your family? Meet Koda! He is a 2-3 year old male husky. My husband and I have been fostering Koda since January 24th and we've fallen in love with him. He is truly a huge love bug and people person and so well behaved. He greets everyone with kisses and is so gentle. He was found roaming the streets and taken to Cincinnati Animal Care. Some things about Koda: * He's never had any accidents * Does amazing in a crate * LOVES the snow and will stay outside for hours if you let him * He hops like a bunny when he's happy * Loves meat flavored treats * He's amazing and super sweet with everyone...but he LOVES men * He never howls or barks like a typical husky...only when he's in the cage and other dogs walk by him and he gets excited * Was neutered on Feb 6th and is up to date on shots Important to note about Koda is that he is food aggressive with other dogs. He would need to be kept separate for feeding time. He is NOT food aggressive with people at all. you can take his food or bone right out of his mouth and he does not care... just with other dogs. He does great playing with other dogs, absolutely loves our Saint Bernard and plays with her all the time! He'd do best with one other dog or no others so his food aggression could be better managed. He has not yet been around cats or children, but would most likely do better in a home without small children. Please reach out to his foster Sabrina at 513-900-0653 with any questions or to inquire about Koda!

Story
Meet Jinx! If you’re looking for a fun, spirited, and loyal adventure buddy — Jinx might just be your perfect match! This gorgeous 2–3-year-old Husky/Great Pyrenees mix weighs about 60 pounds and has all the best traits of both breeds: beauty, brains, and a whole lot of personality! Jinx is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, house trained, and walks well on a leash. She’s a high-energy girl who loves to play hard and run fast — sometimes so fast you’ll swear she’s part bunny with the way she hops and jumps! Because of her playful style, she’d do best in a home with a fenced yard where she has room to stretch her legs and burn off energy. Jinx gets along great with other dogs, though her enthusiasm can be a bit much for calmer or senior pups. When she’s in full play mode with another dog, she can get a little rambunctious and has accidentally knocked over a child who was in the middle of the action — so supervision and space during dog playtime is important. That said, Jinx is incredibly gentle, patient, and kind with children. She is currently living with toddler foster child who is still learning how to properly interact with animals. Even with his grabbing (which her caregivers are actively working to correct), Jinx has remained calm and tolerant. She truly has a sweet and forgiving nature with kids. She’s also good with cats, making her a great fit for many multi-pet homes. True to her Husky roots, Jinx loves to “talk” and share her thoughts in the most adorable ways. She’s sweet, loving, and full of life — just needs someone who can match her energy and give her the exercise and attention she deserves. Jinx can be shy or fearful around men, which suggests she may have had a rough experience in the past, but with patience and kindness, she warms up and shows what a wonderful dog she truly is. She’s not destructive — though she might sneak a chew on a toy when left alone — and she’s always ready to love and be loved. Jinx is ready to hop, play, and chat her way into your heart — could she be your new best friend? January 28, 2026, 10:30 am

Story
She is a great dog and very friendly however due to her old age and my current health situation I am unable to give her proper care during these last few years of life. She has a GI mass which has caused her to be underweight and can only eat set quantities of food without issues but she still like to be pet and play.
