Story
COCO came to us after she had a cluster of seizures in her newly adoptive home. She was adopted only a month before from a rescue in Tennessee which did not respond to our inquiries regarding her previous history. Coco is a SWEET girl! She is currently in a foster home with a Chihuahua and several cats and does well with all! She enjoys her walks as much as she enjoys her couch time! Coco is a beautiful red brindle! she is 110% housebroken. Great with meeting new people! Coco is in Keppra and phenobarbital to control her seizures. She has had a couple of clusters since arriving in her foster home and we are working In fine tuning her meds. Coco will need more frequent vet visits than the average dog her age. With excellent care, we feel she can live a relatively normal life and will make an excellent companion for some lucky family. Coco has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Adoption $200. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you are interested in adding Coco to your family! November 3, 2024, 10:40 am

Story
SKYLAR Is a 7 year old husky who was found as a stray in Baltimore. Being bred to run across the frozen tundra, he does like to test his boundaries so a secure fence and lots of exercise is a must for this guy! Skylar loves his walks and loves to be petted. Rides well in the car! He does have some issues with handling his neck/collar area - he may have had a bad experience with rough handling at some point. He does easily let us hook a leash to his collar but was a little mouthy with the volunteers at the shelter where we got him from when they were putting on and off a slip lead over his head. He was very polite about it and didn’t bite down but because of this we prefer him to have a home without small children. We would love Skylar to go to a family with husky experience! He ha shown some resource guarding with toys so we are recommending he be he only pup where he can soak up all the love and attention. Skylar is neutered and has been vaccinated, 4DX tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting this handsome boy please fill out an application at www.companimals.org. Story
casper is about a year and 4 months old, he is very very friendly, never aggressive, but can sometimes be a bit much for other animals when it comes to playing. he is very very hyper (the reason why i need to regime him) and would heavily benefit from having another medium-large dog to play and bond with, as well as open space. he is okay with cats, he just likes to follow them around and it’s up to the cat whether they tolerate that or not, but we have 5 he has never attacked them. he has trouble with pooping and peeing in the house but it’s mostly because i’m not home during the day to let him out. he loves to play fetch or chase or anything physical like that. he is very smart and loves puzzles but also will figure out how to open your doors as he does with mine. his most prevalent issue is his destructive tendencies. if he doesn’t have stimulation (from people or animal) he WILL chew on just about anything he can find, but with a friend at his side it wouldn’t be an issue at all
