Story
Meet Dakota High-energy | Loyal | Looking for Trust & Time Dakota is a beautiful, spirited girl who’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place when she’s got the right people by her side. A bit fearful at first, she needs a patient person who will give her the time and space to build trust — but once she bonds with you, she’ll be your ride-or-die companion. Dakota is dog selective and does best with slow introductions. While she’s non-reactive in the kennel and around fence-line neighbors, she can be leash-reactive, likely due to fear, so ongoing confidence-building and training will go a long way for her. This girl has energy to spare! She’ll thrive in a home with a fenced yard, where she can zoom around safely and play. Because of her fearfulness, we’re recommending a home with teenagers or older who understand how to respect a dog’s space and needs. She’s not the kind of dog who gives her heart to just anyone — but if you earn her trust, you’ll have it forever. Adoption donation is $395 cash, $420 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. This pet is being offered by Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue, 246 Clonmell Upland Road, West Grove PA 19390 - PA Shelter # 8755

Story
SKYLAR Is a 7 year old husky who was found as a stray in Baltimore. Being bred to run across the frozen tundra, he does like to test his boundaries so a secure fence and lots of exercise is a must for this guy! Skylar loves his walks and loves to be petted. Rides well in the car! He does have some issues with handling his neck/collar area - he may have had a bad experience with rough handling at some point. He does easily let us hook a leash to his collar but was a little mouthy with the volunteers at the shelter where we got him from when they were putting on and off a slip lead over his head. He was very polite about it and didn’t bite down but because of this we prefer him to have a home without small children. We would love Skylar to go to a family with husky experience! He ha shown some resource guarding with toys so we are recommending he be he only pup where he can soak up all the love and attention. Skylar is neutered and has been vaccinated, 4DX tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting this handsome boy please fill out an application at www.companimals.org. Story
COCO came to us after she had a cluster of seizures in her newly adoptive home. She was adopted only a month before from a rescue in Tennessee which did not respond to our inquiries regarding her previous history. Coco is a SWEET girl! She is currently in a foster home with a Chihuahua and several cats and does well with all! She enjoys her walks as much as she enjoys her couch time! Coco is a beautiful red brindle! she is 110% housebroken. Great with meeting new people! Coco is in Keppra and phenobarbital to control her seizures. She has had a couple of clusters since arriving in her foster home and we are working In fine tuning her meds. Coco will need more frequent vet visits than the average dog her age. With excellent care, we feel she can live a relatively normal life and will make an excellent companion for some lucky family. Coco has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Adoption $200. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you are interested in adding Coco to your family! November 3, 2024, 10:40 am

NOVA AND KODA ARE BONDED AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER Some connections in life are instant, profound, and undeniable. We believe that everyone is lucky enough to experience one soul-deep bond in their lifetime — and for Koda and Nova, that bond is each other, but they need you too, to be their human soulmate. These two beautiful huskies are inseparable. Their love is pure, their friendship unwavering, and their devotion to one another is something truly special. Whether they’re curled up side by side or engaging in their signature “husky talk,” it’s clear they share a language all their own — one built on trust, affection, and love. Koda and Nova must be adopted together. They are the perfect pair — sweet and endlessly loving. Their affection for each other is matched only by their love for people. Despite a rough start as unclaimed strays, they’ve blossomed at LaMancha, showering volunteers with gratitude and warmth. Everyone who meets them falls head over heels. They are so easy on the eyes and even more beautiful in spirit. They adore human companionship and thrive on kindness. They will entertain each other when you’re busy — no guilt, no worry. When you’re home, you’ll be their whole world. Koda and Nova are ready to give their forever family a lifetime of unconditional love. They’ve been through the hard part — now they’re waiting for the happy ending. If you’re ready to welcome a bonded pair into your heart and home, these two will reward you with endless affection, laughter, and loyalty. Koda and Nova are beautiful 3-year-old Huskys. If you are familiar with the Husky breed, please come meet this awesome duo. You will be in LOVE! Story
Ace is a character. He is a goof ball with so much energy it is impossible to burn. We absolutely love him, which is why this is devastating for us. We are unable to give him the attention and training that he needs. After rescuing him, he started showing signs of aggression to anyone besides our household members. We started taking him to weekly training sessions and then we had a bite accident. We then took him to a board and train in attempt to fix this issue. However, when we brought him home, we had another bite accident. Unfortunately, we had a job change and now a living situation change and cannot provide the amount of training and dedication that Ace needs to make sure he is a happy dog. Ace needs a family that has experience in his breed, and experience in behavioral issues like aggression.
