Story
Star is fostered in CA. Star is great with dogs, but having energy can play excitedly and may not be a fit for puppies or elderly dogs. Star is a gorgeous girl with brains and energy to match! She might be blind, but that doesn’t slow her down at all. She navigates just fine and all the important things (food, sniffy walks, petting) don’t require sight. Star also had a couple of seizures, which the vet is calling idiopathic epilepsy since no other cause was found in testing, so she takes Keppra and that has prevented any more episodes. She has already learned a lot of words, including: focus, sit, step, and walking. Given her puppy energy level, she would love to be in a home with another dog her size or bigger and no small children or cats. Star *loves* meeting new people and dogs, exploring her environment, eating, walking, and snoozing in her crate or in the car. She is still learning to be the best dog, but she is a quick study. She needs a family experienced with Huskies or similar breeds who are willing to continue her education. If you are active and ready for an energetic beauty, contact us to learn more about Star! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
This is Bolt He is a handsome boy who needs a better home than what I can provide. He is 2 years old. He is 50% Husky, 25% Pitbull and 25% Great Dane. He has two different color eyes and a very unique coat. (Pics don’t really do him justice) He is very friendly and is great with kids and other animals. I’m hoping to find someone with a big back yard that can give him the life he deserves.

Story
High energy, very sweet, and docile dog with a really funny personality. I have had Gambit since he was 3 months old. Adopted him directly from a breeder. Unfortunately, I can no longer provide Gambit with the time, energy, and love he deserves. I just want him to go to a good home with the resources and time to care for him. The adoption fee will go towards an animal no-kill shelter of your choice. I would just need a receipt as proof of donation.

Special Needs: NA- just gentle, positive reinforcement training, like all shelter dogs Radley and his sibling, Chilli, were dumped on a back country road. Roaming from place to place and having to fend for themselves until they ended up in the yard of our Intake Coordinator. They were brought into our shelter to try and find them a home. Radley has done very well with other dogs, but can guard food/water. He is wonderful with people and excellent with children. Radley is a 1 yr old male, 42lb husky mix. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. An experienced husky owner is preferred and a fence is required. No small animals.
