🥹Luna is doll! Rocky is a love. He is 6 years old. She is 8 years old and in need of a home. She is sweet, good with dogs and people. 🐾Luna and Rocky live on the back porch outside of a local home. A kind man has been bring food and taking them to parks…. He had been getting them groomed and even took them home for the weekend to sleep over! He lives in an apartment & cant have them as he already has a dog. They didn’t want to leave. He has tried to find them homes and unfortunately has been unsuccessful. 🐾We are providing them with dog houses and straw tomorrow. Luna and Rocky need Foster homes or Adoptive homes. We would live for them to stay together but, know that most likely is not possible. If you can foster or Adopt one or both of these babies… please apply at www.hindeanimalrescueteam.org it’s getting cold… please help us get these babies warm. They Love the outdoors and love indoor snuggles as well. Please share 🙏

SOS! Solomon is a wonderful 9 yr old husky boy needing an urgent home with no cats or chickens. He was surrendered for euthanasia for killing chickens. Huskies are notorious for escape artists when they are bored. He is fully vetted and house trained. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. His adoption fee is only the cost of transport. ABOUT LUNA Luna is a 4-year-old Husky mix seeking a patient, experienced owner. Luna arrived at HAP in March, scared and unsure of the world around her. While we don’t know her full history, it’s clear she has endured some hardships. At first, Luna can be timid when meeting new people, but she has made incredible progress since her arrival. Once she feels safe, her true self shines through, a sweet, playful, and wonderfully goofy girl! Luna loves playing with toys, enjoys spending time outside, and thrives embracing her independence! **If interested in adopting Luna, please reach out to our trainer, Ben Touchton, at btouchton@hapde.org Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Koda is an absolute sweetheart who is full of energy and super cuddly at the same time. She warms up to everyone right away and always wants to play! She’s very smart and is learning commands like sit, lie down, and heel. We are working on house training and she’s slowly getting the hang of it! Koda loves time outside and running around, she does pull on the leash when she sees other dogs and humans she wants to say hi to.
