Story
Meet Kristoff! Just like his Disney namesake, this guy will melt your heart with his charm, goofy, sweet personality, and snuggable nature!   Kristoff is a 9 month old Siberian husky/American bully mix, neutered, and up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations. He weighs around 30 pounds, and loves all people big and small, although he does get a little excited meeting new people, and needs to be reminded no jumping! He loves a good romp with a canine companion, but is just as happy to snuggle up to his people for kisses or a snooze on the couch.  Cats are unknown.  He also enjoys a good squeaky or chew toy, car rides, and is always up for being your dedicated copilot.    Kristoff is working diligently on house training, and does exceptionally well with a structured schedule. He is extremely food motivated, and loves his treats when told he’s such a good boy!  He sleeps like a baby in his crate all night long with no issue. He walks well on a leash, and enjoys spending time outdoors putting his nose to work.    With St Patrick’s Day approaching, Kristoff is hoping for a little luck in finding his own home. He is available for adoption through Paws Across Pittsburgh, KL 16182, Springdale, PA on March 1, 2026.  ##2666644##

This dog has saved my life. I got her as a puppy. She is beautiful, sweet, playful, gentle, and a light of life. She is 7 years old on October 13,2026. I am looking for someone who loves her as much as I do and maybe likes to run or hike with their dogs. I don’t have time for her or funds unfortunately as my whole life has changed. ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Meet Celine Dion – a stunning 4-year-old Greyhound/Lab mix with a personality as big as her name! Weighing in around 58 pounds, Celine was rescued from the euthanasia list at a Houston shelter and has been thriving ever since in her loving foster home in North Carolina. She’s spayed, healthy, and available for out-of-state adoption once matched with an approved adopter—transport can be arranged to bring this superstar home to you! Celine is joyful, curious, and always ready for fun. She brings a playful spark wherever she goes—whether it’s romping in the yard with dog friends, chasing her favorite toy, or exploring new places. Her ideal playmates are other large dogs who enjoy an energetic buddy and don’t mind a little bounce in their step. She’d also be perfectly happy as the center of attention in a home where she can get plenty of activity and enrichment. This sweet girl is making great strides with her leash manners and training. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and settles quickly after an initial burst of excitement when it’s time for a walk. She’s eager to please and motivated by treats, which makes her a fun and responsive learner. Celine adores people and has done wonderfully around her foster’s 12-year-old child. She gets so excited to say hello that she sometimes forgets her size—but she’s learning to greet people more gently and is improving every day. Because of her enthusiasm, we recommend a home with kids over 10 who are comfortable around playful, happy dogs. She’s respectful with toys and food, shows no guarding behavior, and enjoys being near her humans for affection, praise, and snuggles. In the car, she may pant at first, but she’s gaining confidence with each ride—and a few more adventures will help her become a travel pro. Celine would thrive in an active home with room to stretch her legs, regular walks, and loving guidance to help her keep growing into her best self. Whether she’s your one-and-only or joins a friendly pack, she’s ready to fill your days with laughter, companionship, and love. Ready to be serenaded daily with joy and tail wags? Celine Dion is waiting to steal your heart. ___ ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨🐾 Meet Amira — Still Waiting for Her Once-in-a-Lifetime Person 🐾✨ Female • Husky • ~2 Years • ~45 lbs Amira has been patient. - Patient while raising her babies. - Patient while watching other dogs find their homes. - Patient while waiting for her turn — her person, her family, her moment to finally be someone’s everything. Now it’s her time, her time to just breathe, her time to shine, her time to be the center of your universe. At around 2 years old and 45 pounds, Amira is the perfect mix of sweetness and spirit. She carries herself with quiet confidence, soft eyes, and that unmistakable Husky sparkle that says, “Life is an adventure… and I’d really like to share it with you.” She’s affectionate, friendly, and wonderfully balanced. She enjoys playtime and outdoor activity, but she also appreciates calm connection — the kind where she can simply sit beside you and feel safe, chosen, and home. Amira is great with kids and other dogs, bringing a steady, reassuring presence wherever she goes. Cats are still unknown, but with thoughtful introductions, she may do just fine. Now, because she is a Husky, let’s sprinkle in just a dash of reality: this girl is athletic and clever. Fences are more like “suggestions” in her world. She’ll thrive in a home committed to leash walks, secure outings, and including her in adventures rather than leaving her to entertain herself. She doesn’t want to run away — she wants to run with you. And truly, that’s what she wants most — to be with her person. After spending her early adulthood caring for others, she’s ready to be cared for. Ready for long walks, silly moments, cozy evenings, and the simple joy of belonging. She deserves a home where she’s not just a dog in the yard — but a cherished companion in the heart of the family. Amira isn’t loud about her wishes. She doesn’t demand attention. She just waits, hopeful, for someone to see her and say, “That’s my girl.” If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, adventure-ready best friend who will meet you at every sunrise and settle beside you at every sunset, Amira is ready. She’s been patient long enough. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this sweet girl the forever she’s been quietly dreaming of. 💙🐾

Story
Rocket is a 60-lb Husky mix who is a smart, affectionate, and energetic dog. He is highly trainable and loves attention and activity. The majority of the time he is a loving, fun companion who enjoys being part of the family. He was a rescue from Texas and we have had him for about 5 months. Unfortunately we were misled by the prior rescue as he is not good with cats and has a hard time regulating himself around other dogs and cannot shut off his energy. He exhibits jealousy and possessive behavior, particularly when attention is given to other dogs. While he generally coexists with our other dogs and kids, these incidents have continued despite training efforts. We love Rocket and this has been heartbreaking, but we believe Rocket would do best as the only pet in a home, ideally with an experienced owner who understands high-energy, strong-willed breeds and can provide consistent structure, training, and space to run. He is fully housebroken and crate trained.
