Story
Triton is a 13 Husky/Border Collie mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. Despite being a senior, he still enjoys staying active, whether it's for walks, hikes, playing in water, playing games, or engaging with his favorite people. He's incredibly smart, as you'd expect from his breed mix, and thrives on both physical activity and mental stimulation. At home, he's calm and affectionate and happiest when he close to his humans. He's perfectly happy napping next to your feet while you work from home. He has that perfect balance of energy and relaxation, playful when it's time to have fun, and content to settle down and enjoy quiet moments. Loyal, gentle, and full of personality, he'd make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a dog who still has plenty of life and joy to share. He is perfect with kids of all ages, especially young ones, and will make the best family pet. No medical issues but needs joint supplements! Located in 21758

Story
Looking to rehome an incredible dog, just too busy in my current season of life for him. Kai is a sweet, fun loving husky. He was adopted as a puppy in Feb 2021 (Born 12/3/2020). He is a purebred Siberian Husky. He LOVES people and other dogs. Kai is 5 years old and loves to play with toys, tug, fetch, you name it. He is potty trained and lets you know when he has to go outside to go potty. He knows all basic commands. He is an indoor dog (sleeps indoors) but enjoys playing outside when possible as well. He’s great with cats and kids of any age.

Story
******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Meet Celine Dion – a stunning 4-year-old Greyhound/Lab mix with a personality as big as her name! Weighing in around 58 pounds, Celine was rescued from the euthanasia list at a Houston shelter and has been thriving ever since in her loving foster home in North Carolina. She’s spayed, healthy, and available for out-of-state adoption once matched with an approved adopter—transport can be arranged to bring this superstar home to you! Celine is joyful, curious, and always ready for fun. She brings a playful spark wherever she goes—whether it’s romping in the yard with dog friends, chasing her favorite toy, or exploring new places. Her ideal playmates are other large dogs who enjoy an energetic buddy and don’t mind a little bounce in their step. She’d also be perfectly happy as the center of attention in a home where she can get plenty of activity and enrichment. This sweet girl is making great strides with her leash manners and training. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and settles quickly after an initial burst of excitement when it’s time for a walk. She’s eager to please and motivated by treats, which makes her a fun and responsive learner. Celine adores people and has done wonderfully around her foster’s 12-year-old child. She gets so excited to say hello that she sometimes forgets her size—but she’s learning to greet people more gently and is improving every day. Because of her enthusiasm, we recommend a home with kids over 10 who are comfortable around playful, happy dogs. She’s respectful with toys and food, shows no guarding behavior, and enjoys being near her humans for affection, praise, and snuggles. In the car, she may pant at first, but she’s gaining confidence with each ride—and a few more adventures will help her become a travel pro. Celine would thrive in an active home with room to stretch her legs, regular walks, and loving guidance to help her keep growing into her best self. Whether she’s your one-and-only or joins a friendly pack, she’s ready to fill your days with laughter, companionship, and love. Ready to be serenaded daily with joy and tail wags? Celine Dion is waiting to steal your heart. ___ ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨🐾 Meet Amira — Still Waiting for Her Once-in-a-Lifetime Person 🐾✨ Female • Husky • ~2 Years • ~45 lbs Amira has been patient. - Patient while raising her babies. - Patient while watching other dogs find their homes. - Patient while waiting for her turn — her person, her family, her moment to finally be someone’s everything. Now it’s her time, her time to just breathe, her time to shine, her time to be the center of your universe. At around 2 years old and 45 pounds, Amira is the perfect mix of sweetness and spirit. She carries herself with quiet confidence, soft eyes, and that unmistakable Husky sparkle that says, “Life is an adventure… and I’d really like to share it with you.” She’s affectionate, friendly, and wonderfully balanced. She enjoys playtime and outdoor activity, but she also appreciates calm connection — the kind where she can simply sit beside you and feel safe, chosen, and home. Amira is great with kids and other dogs, bringing a steady, reassuring presence wherever she goes. Cats are still unknown, but with thoughtful introductions, she may do just fine. Now, because she is a Husky, let’s sprinkle in just a dash of reality: this girl is athletic and clever. Fences are more like “suggestions” in her world. She’ll thrive in a home committed to leash walks, secure outings, and including her in adventures rather than leaving her to entertain herself. She doesn’t want to run away — she wants to run with you. And truly, that’s what she wants most — to be with her person. After spending her early adulthood caring for others, she’s ready to be cared for. Ready for long walks, silly moments, cozy evenings, and the simple joy of belonging. She deserves a home where she’s not just a dog in the yard — but a cherished companion in the heart of the family. Amira isn’t loud about her wishes. She doesn’t demand attention. She just waits, hopeful, for someone to see her and say, “That’s my girl.” If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, adventure-ready best friend who will meet you at every sunrise and settle beside you at every sunset, Amira is ready. She’s been patient long enough. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this sweet girl the forever she’s been quietly dreaming of. 💙🐾

Story
Looking for a Loving Home for a Bonded Husky/Malamute Pair 🐺❤️ This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, but I’m looking for a wonderful home for my two beautiful dogs Fluffy and Buffy. They are a Husky/Malamute bonded pair and have been together since birth, so they must be adopted together. They are very attached to each other and separating them isn’t something I’m willing to do. About Fluffy & Buffy: • Breed: Husky/Malamute • 1 male & 1 female • Raised together since birth (bonded pair) • Great with kids – they’ve been around many children • Good with other dogs • House trained and crate trained • Friendly, loving personalities • Not spayed/neutered They are beautiful, energetic dogs who would do best with someone familiar with husky or northern breeds and ideally a home with space or a yard where they can run and play. This decision truly comes from wanting what’s best for them, and I’m committed to finding them a safe, responsible, and loving home!
