Story
Bolt was born February 19, 2020 to his Siberian Husky mom Daisy. Based on looks and personality we think Bolt's dad was a Labrador Retriever. Bolt was adopted out but somehow ended up getting out, making his way to Oklahoma, and finding himself with a good samaritan who kept him safe until we could get him. There's not telling how long he was on the road by himself, but we're so glad he's now safe. We did try and find his original adopters but did not have any luck. Even though he's been a street dog for a bit, Bolt gets along great with the dogs at his foster home and just wants love and attention. He loves to play, lounge on the bed, and is non-destructive - he's quite the package! If you're interested in adopting Bolt, fill out an application at https://texashuskyrescue.org/apply-to-adopt/. You can learn more about Bolt's journey at https://texashuskyrescue.org/2025/10/20/bolt-from-disney-puppy-to-the-incredible-journey/.

Story
Meet Harper! Harper is a loving, loyal companion who adores being close to her favorite person—she’s a true Velcro dog through and through. Around the house, she’s incredibly sweet, well-mannered, and easy to have around. She’s both house and crate trained, making her a wonderful addition to any home. Harper is good with kids and enjoys being part of family life. She’s currently working on her leash skills and has shown she loves to run alongside a scooter—perfect for an active household that enjoys outdoor fun. When it comes to other dogs, Harper can be protective of her chosen human and may growl or snap to guard them. However, she responds well to correction and settles quickly, especially if the other dog is calm or submissive. With clear guidance and structure, she does beautifully. Harper’s affectionate nature and eagerness to please make her a devoted companion ready to bring love, loyalty, and a little adventure to her forever home.

Story
Meet Maya! Maya is a playful, sweet, and affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves being around her people and is happiest when she’s part of the action. Known as the “treat queen,” Maya is always ready for a snack and eager to please, especially when food is involved. She’s house and crate trained, though she sometimes goes into her crate a bit reluctantly. Even then, she’s gentle and has never shown any signs of aggression—just a little sass to show her opinion. Maya walks nicely on a leash, understands what “no” means, and enjoys getting out for strolls and playtime. When she plays, Maya can be quite vocal—sometimes sounding a little scary—but it’s all in good fun. She loves all dogs, gets along great with kids, and brings a joyful, bossy charm to every interaction. Her beautiful coat needs regular brushing and grooming to keep it looking its best, and because she’s a curious explorer, a secure fence at ground level is a must. Maya’s loving nature, playful energy, and loyal heart make her a wonderful companion ready to fill her forever home with laughter, love, and plenty of happy chatter.
