Story
Vogue is a 10-month-old boy who recently joined Texas Husky Rescue. We're still getting to know this pup and learning about his personality, preferences, and needs. Vogue is looking for either a foster home or a forever home. Fostering gives us valuable information about his personality and helps him decompress from his previous situation. It also helps us make the best possible match when the right adopter comes along. If you're interested in fostering or adopting Vogue and helping us learn more about this special pup, we'd love to hear from you! June 26, 2026, 1:39 pm

Story
Heidi is a playful, affectionate girl who’s full of love and personality! She greets everyone with enthusiasm — sometimes with a happy jump — and adores being close to her people, often following her foster mom from room to room. This food-motivated sweetheart loves to roughhouse with her foster sibling and can entertain herself for ages chewing on her favorite Kong toy. She’s great with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful companion. Heidi hasn’t shown any interest in escaping the yard and is currently working on her crate and house training. She hasn’t been around kids or cats yet, but her loving, social nature suggests she’ll make a wonderful addition to a family willing to continue her training and give her all the affection she craves. With her joyful spirit and big heart, Heidi is ready to bring fun, love, and loyalty to her forever home.

Story
Adriana is a 1.5-year-old girl with high puppy energy and an adventurous spirit. This affectionate, athletic pup is smart, playful, and curious about everything around her. She's friendly with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful pack to help burn off her energy. Adriana has a high prey drive, so cats are unknown at this time. Due to her energy level, she's best suited for a home with older kids. Adriana is currently working on potty training and crate training. She'll sleep in a crate overnight, but struggles with being crated during the day and will try to escape and bark. She's also a bit mischievous—she's a counter surfer, sock stealer, and will try to dig or scratch at carpet. This smart girl is food-motivated and corrects easily, but she's had no basic training yet. She loves toys, chewing on bones, and playing fetch. Adriana is gentle and loves to give kisses (and will lick or nibble your toes!). She needs someone who works from home or has the time to invest in training and exercise. She would make a great running partner for an active owner. If you're looking for an energetic, loving companion and have the time and patience to help a young dog reach her full potential, Adriana is ready to meet you.June 26, 2026, 1:39 pm

Story
Standing below knee height and somehow still stealing the whole show, Andrea may just be the most pint-sized pocket husky you'll ever need. At 11 months old, she's dog friendly, a little shy, and unfairly cute. This tiny powerhouse proves that the best things really do come in small packages. Andrea's gentle nature and sweet demeanor make her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a husky with all the charm and none of the overwhelming size. Her shyness only adds to her endearing personality—she's the kind of pup who warms up slowly but loves deeply. We're still learning about Andrea, and she's looking for a foster home while she waits for her forever family. If you're ready to welcome a knee-high bundle of adorable into your life (even temporarily), Andrea is waiting to steal your heart (and possibly your favorite spot on the couch).

Story
Wylie is a one-year-old boy with a curious mind, a playful heart, and plenty of puppy energy to spare! He loves spending his days playing with his foster siblings and toys, and he’s always up for a good adventure. While Wylie is independent and inquisitive, he takes direction well and has a great foundation for continued training. He’s affectionate, talkative, and gentle — the perfect mix of sweet and spirited. He also has a soft spot for digging, so he’s happy to “help” with any backyard landscaping projects! This food-motivated pup never says no to a treat or a pup cup. He’s house and crate trained, though he hasn’t been around kids or cats yet. Wylie would thrive in a home with another playful dog to run and romp with, but most of all, he’s excited to find his forever family to love and grow with.

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Poppi is a gentle, sensitive soul who’s slowly learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and at home again. This sweet husky girl has been through a lot, but with patience and kindness, she’s beginning to show glimpses of the happy, curious dog she’s meant to be. Poppi is very well house trained and quietly goes outside when offered, though she doesn’t yet ask on her own. She’s food motivated but still learning how to take treats from fingers—small steps that show her willingness to trust and learn. Around other dogs, Poppi can be guarded and tends to growl at larger ones, so a calm, understanding home where she can be the only dog or have careful introductions would be best. Though she’s still reserved and often on alert, Poppi has started to relax and seek affection. She loves gentle face strokes, soft words, and cuddles—especially at bedtime, when she’ll snuggle close for love before moving to her own space. Each day, she grows a little braver, a little more trusting, and a little more herself. Poppi has been on medication for seizures, which are managed but occasionally recur. Despite her challenges, she’s showing signs of joy—smiling sometimes, running for fun, and even digging a few happy strokes in the dirt. There’s a wonderful husky spirit inside Poppi, waiting to fully emerge. With time, patience, and love, she’ll blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion she’s meant to be.

Story
Moonshine is a young adult Husky who’s as striking as he is spirited! At around 80 pounds, this big, beautiful boy is full of that classic Husky energy — playful, goofy, and full of life. Pictures simply can’t capture how stunning he is in person or how impressive his size and presence are. Moonshine’s story began when he was found alongside a German Shepherd by a Good Samaritan. After their owner declined to take them back, Moonshine made his way into rescue, where he’s now ready for his next chapter. He’s neutered, heartworm negative, and ready to find either a foster or forever home. True to his breed, Moonshine is full of personality and charm. He’s very dog-friendly and loves the company of other pups. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and on your toes, Moonshine is your guy.

Story
Meet Aslan Aslan is a 4-year-old, 30-pound Chow… and yes, he is very Chow. He’s neutered, independent, a little weird (in that classic Chow way), and not here to people-please. Aslan is slow to trust and can be grumpy when pushed too fast, so he’s looking for an experienced adopter or rescue who understands the breed and is willing to give him the time, space, and patience he needs to feel safe. This is not a beginner dog — but for the right person, Aslan has the potential to be a loyal, one-of-a-kind companion. He just needs someone who respects his boundaries and lets him come around on his own terms. Experienced home required Slow introductions, patience is key Chow-savvy adopter preferredAslan is currently available for a 501c3 rescue to pull now.He may not be for everyone… but for his person, he could be everything.

Story
Meet Bird (aka "Bird the Turd")! Don't let the nickname fool you—Bird is a super handsome 2-year-old boy who is ready to find his permanent "nest." He is a sweet, goofy, and incredibly entertaining guy who is guaranteed to keep you laughing. The "Teenager" Phase At two years old, Bird is essentially a teenager. He can be a little hard-headed at times, but he’s also brilliant and highly treat-motivated. He thrives with a gentle leader, a calm voice, and a little bit of reassurance. Once he knows he’s safe and has your confidence, his true "heart of gold" shines through. Bird’s Favorite Things Bird is all about living life to the fullest. His ideal day includes: Being Your Co-Pilot: He rides beautifully in the front seat and loves a good car ride. Staying Active: He loves walks, playing fetch, and "window watching" the world go by. Snuggle Time: After he lets loose and has a good time, he is a total professional at snuggling. Friends & Family Dogs: He can be a little wary when first meeting new dog friends, but once he realizes they’re okay, he’s solid as a rock. He enjoys playful companions but is also perfectly happy being your "solo pup" if you’re home more often than not. Cats: He does well with "cool" cats who don't run. He’s curious and might try to sniff or encourage them to play! Kids: He loves children! However, he is a "big oaf" who can get rowdy when he’s happy and overstimulated. Because he doesn't quite realize his own size, he’d be a best fit for older or experienced kids. The "Three-Week" Rule Bird is a sensitive soul who needs a little time to adjust. It takes him about two to three weeks to fully settle into a new home and routine. He is looking for a patient family who understands that the best things in life are worth waiting for. Please don't break his heart—give him the time he needs to show you what an amazing companion he can be! Fast Facts Age/Stats: 2 years old | Neutered | Microchipped | Vaccinated House Manners: Crate and potty trained. On the Go: Does well on a leash once he gets into a routine. Personality: Goofy, smart, and a little bit clumsy. Bird is ready to give you his whole world. Are you ready to be his best friend? Apply today to meet this one-of-a-kind guy! ##2008854##
