Story
Meet Asher Asher is a 4–5-month-old husky mix (we think there’s some malamute in there!) with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This goofy, clumsy pup is full of energy and loves to play, dig, and roughhouse. He’s a total velcro dog who wants to be wherever his people are, and once he warms up, his silly, talkative side shines through — especially when his foster siblings start chatting! Asher is still a puppy and learning the ropes. He’s working on his potty and crate training, though he may “sing” for the first few minutes in his crate before settling down. He’s very food motivated, which makes training easier, but he can get overly excited at mealtime and may get snappy with other dogs when bowls are being filled. Because of this, he’ll do best with an experienced husky or malamute owner who understands strong-willed northern breeds. This clever boy is also a bit of an escape artist — he can open some doors and will try to dash out if given the chance — so a very secure fence and careful door management are a must. He’s dog-friendly and would likely do best with a submissive male or female companion. Kids and cats are still unknown. Asher is a big, lovable handful with tons of potential. With structure, patience, and plenty of exercise, he’ll grow into a loyal, adventurous companion who keeps you laughing every day.

Meet Harper! Harper is a loving, loyal companion who adores being close to her favorite person—she’s a true Velcro dog through and through. Around the house, she’s incredibly sweet, well-mannered, and easy to have around. She’s both house and crate trained, making her a wonderful addition to any home. Harper is good with kids and enjoys being part of family life. She’s currently working on her leash skills and has shown she loves to run alongside a scooter—perfect for an active household that enjoys outdoor fun. When it comes to other dogs, Harper can be protective of her chosen human and may growl or snap to guard them. However, she responds well to correction and settles quickly, especially if the other dog is calm or submissive. With clear guidance and structure, she does beautifully. Harper’s affectionate nature and eagerness to please make her a devoted companion ready to bring love, loyalty, and a little adventure to her forever home.

Meet Lizzie! Lizzie is a small, 2-year-old husky with a heart as big as her fluffy coat! Though she’s profoundly blind, that doesn’t slow her down one bit. Once she’s comfortable in her new surroundings, Lizzie’s playful, affectionate personality shines through—she loves to cuddle, explore, and show off her clever side. She’s a smart, high-energy girl who enjoys the company of other dogs and even gets along well with cats. Meet Yara Yara is a sweet, petite girl around 3–4 years old with a heart full of love and a calm, affectionate nature. She’s a social butterfly who adores people of all ages — kids included — and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. This talkative little lady is house and crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and has great manners around the home. She’s non-destructive, doesn’t dig, and has shown no interest in escaping the yard. Yara enjoys her meals, takes corrections well, and is eager to please. On walks, she can get a bit excited and pull on the leash, especially when her medium prey drive kicks in, but she’s responsive and learns quickly with gentle guidance. She may show mild resource guarding at times, but with structure and understanding, she continues to thrive. Yara is the perfect mix of calm and playful — a loving companion ready to bring warmth, joy, and loyalty to her forever home.

Story
Meet Nova! Nova is a petite “pocket” husky with a big heart and an even bigger personality! At around 2 years old, this sweet and spirited girl is ready to find her forever home—a place where she’ll be loved, cherished, and never left behind again. Curious, playful, cuddly, and adventurous, Nova is full of life and always up for fun. She’s incredibly smart, quick to learn new tricks, and loves to run—whether it’s in the yard, on a trail, or alongside her favorite person. Her adorable, sneaky side keeps things entertaining, and her affectionate nature makes her a wonderful companion. Nova used to live with other dogs and got along wonderfully with them, though she can become hyper-focused on smaller dogs. She’s dog friendly overall but benefits from supervision and structure during introductions. Nova would do best in a home without small pets. She’s house and crate trained, though she can be a bit anxious and restless at times. On walks, Nova pulls hard on the leash—her enthusiasm for adventure sometimes gets the best of her—but with consistent training, she’ll continue to improve. She’s also quite the escape artist and loves to dig, so a secure yard with no easy escape routes is a must. Despite her quirks, Nova’s joyful spirit and loving heart shine through in everything she does. She’s a bright, affectionate, and loyal girl who’s ready to bring energy, laughter, and endless love to her forever home.
