Story
Meet Coco! Coco is a 10-month-old Jack Russell Terrier mix bursting with youthful energy, charm, and curiosity. This happy, bouncy boy is incredibly friendly and always ready for his next adventure. He’s a smart cookie who loves food and is eager to learn, making him a great candidate for training games and enrichment activities. When it’s playtime, Coco is all in! He enjoys fetch, tug, and anything involving squeaky toys (the squeakier, the better). An active home that can keep up with his enthusiasm and give him plenty of outlets for both his body and brain would be his dream come true. Coco can be a bit selective with other dogs, so slow, thoughtful introductions will help set him up for success. He is looking for a cat-free home, as he has a history of wanting to chase them. Coco would also do best with older children who can respect his space and boundaries, as he can become uncomfortable with invasive handling. With structure, positive reinforcement, and lots of love, Coco will make a fun, loyal, and endlessly entertaining companion for the right family.

Story
The name Elowen means “elm tree,” a symbol of strength, protection, and gentle beauty — a perfect match for this sweet, playful girl. Elowen may be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and soon shows off her fun, goofy side. She loves to zoom around the house and will happily use you as her personal bumper to stop her momentum — so be ready for some playful drive-by cuddles! She adores her toys and is perfectly content sitting on the couch chewing on one while her brother and sister have an all-out wrestling match. After watching for a bit, she’ll jump in to play for a few minutes… then head right back to her toy like nothing happened. It’s the cutest balance of playful and independent. Elowen is very food and treat motivated, which makes her eager to learn, and she already goes into her crate when it’s time to eat — a great foundation for crate training and future routines. If you’re looking for a pup who is sweet, silly, playful, and happy entertaining herself (with occasional zoomies included), Elowen would love to find her forever family! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Introducing Turbo! I've had Turbo since June 2021. He is an excellent companion - extremely friendly and great with both children and other dogs. Turbo loves going on long walks and car rides, and he is a very loyal pet who will stick by your side. Unfortunately, I am currently living in an apartment, and I feel it would be best for Turbo to have a new home with more space, preferably one with a yard where he can run and play. I've noticed him spending a lot of time peering out the window, which makes me think he would thrive in a setting with more room to roam. If you can provide a loving home for this friendly, active dog, I would be thrilled for Turbo to join your family. Please let me know if you have any other questions about his temperament and needs

Story
If you’ve ever dreamed of adopting a bat-dog hybrid who runs on unlimited energy and pure joy, your dreams just came true. Missy is a 22lb, 4-year-old Rat Terrier mix who looks like a bat in disguise (seriously—check out those ears!) with the sweetest brown eyebrows and muzzle freckles you’ll ever see.Missy is a professional zoomie champion who believes exercise is a lifestyle, not a hobby. One walk? Great. Two walks? Better. Three? LET’S GO.This silly girl is smart as a whip and eager to please. She knows her commands, sits patiently at the door like a little lady until you say “okay, let’s go!” and beams with pride whenever she hears the magic words “good girl.” The only thing she loves more than hearing that? Attention. Any kind. From anyone. Always.Missy is perfectly house-trained, sleeps like an angel once she’s in her crate (bonus points if she gets a blanket to burrow in), and is working hard on her leash manners. She’s very enthusiastic about dogs, cats, squirrels, and, well, life in general—sometimes too enthusiastic—so she’ll do best in a home that can match her zest with consistent training, playtime, and lots of patience. Her dislikes? Being ignored, crate time, and small woodland critters who dare to exist. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, high-energy best friend who will keep you laughing (and moving!) every single day, Missy is your girl.If you’d like to take this pupper home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $300 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!

Story
Meet Pixie — a tiny dynamo with a big personality! Pixie was found by a kind 97-year-old woman, and while we don’t know how long she lived on the streets, it’s clear this little girl has already overcome a lot. Pixie tested heartworm positive after being rescued and is bravely completing her treatment, which is expected to be finished in early February. Now about 2 years old, she’s looking ahead to a brighter future in a loving forever home. Pixie is a terrier–Chihuahua mix (we think!) who brings confidence, energy, and charm wherever she goes. She’s a high-energy, alpha female who knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to show it — a true “small but mighty” kind of girl. She does well with other dogs and currently lives in her foster home with three large dogs and two other small Chihuahuas. Pixie enjoys walks, doesn’t mind car rides, and once she feels comfortable, she’s perfectly happy entertaining herself with her chew toys. Like many confident little pups, Pixie is protective of her personal space and appreciates having a safe spot of her own. Her crate is her sanctuary, and she may guard her toys — so she’ll do best with an adopter who understands and respects boundaries. She can be vocal at times, as is typical of small dogs, and she makes a great little alert pup. Pixie is still working on potty training, and she’s very treat-motivated, which will help her continue learning and thriving. Pixie would do best with an experienced dog owner who appreciates a confident, spirited little companion with lots of personality. If you’re looking for a spunky, independent, and entertaining sidekick — Pixie might just be your girl. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
