Story
Hey Hey!! Look at ME!!   My name is Pappy!! I’m a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier guy that would love to have a warm cozy home again. For some reason my last family had to move away and forgot me. They must have had too much on their mind. ‍&#226&#153&#128&#239&#184&#143 Right now I’m in a foster home getting lots of attention and love! They tell me I’m the BESTEST boy! I am 3 years old, 18 pounds, crate trained, house trained, and I love other doggie friends.  Make note, those fuzzy kitties are strange to me and I don’t care for them too much.  I’m ready to finally find my one and only family that will love me forever and always! Are you that family? Are you ready for the BESTEST boy ?!!&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 4, 2023, 10:52 am

Story
Lucky Lionel is a most “LUCKY” dog since he was snatched out of the middle of a highway in rural Tennessee and avoided being run over by one of many cars and trucks.  His life was changed right there in the middle of the highway when a rescue angel loaded him in her car and carried him home to safety.  Noone ever came forward to claim this boy on social media and we are happy to offer this special 4-5 year old, 15 pound boy to a special Jack Russell loving family.  He is a boy that likes mature adult dogs and tolerates puppies.  He is good with the chickens and cats at the foster home and just basically ignores them. Lucky Lionel is the little guy that wants to be the center of attention.  He is pretty good on leash and is almost potty trained but has an occasional accident every now and then. Lionel will bark at new people for a minute and then is fine with them.  He is being socialized and good with a 4 year old busy toddler boy and all the adults in the home.  This boy is smart and adorable and loves to sit next to you or in your lap.  He is not needy for love but does ask for it. True to form he is a JRT who is an independent spirit but one that gives back over and over with fun and love. If you are interested in this boy please know that he is best in a fenced yard and he could go for nice long walks with you daily to get off the energy.  Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 4, 2023, 10:52 am

Story
Jill is an active, sweet girl and can be adventurous. She tried to escape over the porch banister. She likes other dogs. Older kids are recommended because she is a rough player and can be protective. If strangers come to the home, they best ignore her until she comes to them. She loves walks but definitely with a harness.

Story
Moco is outgoing and sweet with people he's met. He likes to go on car rides and walks, especially hikes. Both he and his brother Oreo love to be outdoors and go on adventures. Moco came into the rescue with his brother Oreo. Oreo is a bit shy and insecure. He's sweet with people he's met but can take a while to warm up to people. Oreo does have some resource guarding, but we're working through that. Oreo came into the rescue with his brother Moco. Both have high prey drives and like to chase anything from bees to cars so they can not go to a home with small animals or children. Neither has had much as far as training goes, but both are pretty quick learners. They are crate trained, although they prefer not to be in them, the foster parent has left both in crates while at work and they do well. They both pull while on leash, but do well with gentle lead head collars. They have been on hikes and enjoy those! They love to be outdoors and to explore. They know sit, but do not stay very well. The foster has been working with both with basic manners, although we think they'd learn quicker in separate homes. They feed off each other, not in a good way. Most of us wish the dogs that come into our care could stay together, but sometimes it's better for the dogs to be separated in order to live a happier, healthier life. If these two where adopted together, adopter would need to be very experienced. Together or separate, they'll need some continued basic obedience training. With their physical and personality traits, we believe these boys are a Jack Russell, Corgi and Bully mix. We adopt within 100 miles of Waldorf, MD. If interested please fill out an adoption application www.rescueangelssomd.com. All dogs receive vet care before adoption, including spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia 4DX snap test, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchip. Indoor homes only and we expect all dogs to be family members. Adoption fee applies and adoption application required.

Story
Meet Kira of the K litter! She is a spunky, brave terrier mix who is 10 weeks old and currently weighs about 10 pounds. She loves to play with other dogs and she can hold her own in a good game of tug of war. These pups are well socialized and eager to please. They are doing great in foster care: romping and playing and learning all aspects of puppy life and new rules. The K Pups are very active, full of vim and vigor. They will keep you and yours very entertained. Mom is 21 lbs and could be a minpin mix while dad is a total unknown. They are sleeping through the night in their crate, and learning the ropes of house training. These little pups have tons of personality and can't wait to find their forever homes. The adoption fee for this dog is $375, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. A spay/neuter deposit is required at time of adoption. **No extensions or exceptions will be made to the required spay/neuter date. Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old. Petconnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system.
