If you're looking for a best friend that will want to join you in all your outdoor adventures, ride in the car with you for any field trip, then snuggle up at the end of the day to watch a movie, then look no further! Jax is a 12 year old, 16 lb Jack Russell Terrier. But don't let his age fool you, he is still full of fun and energy and is ready to begin the next phase of his life! Jax had an owner all his life, who he sadly lost in November. Jax would love to find a person, or family, that has the time and love to dedicate to him. He's probably prefer to be an only dog, but he'd be okay in a home with other dogs as well, preferably smaller dogs. He had some separation anxiety when he first moved into his foster home, but who can blame him after the loss he went through. He's mostly house trained and can now stay home alone for a few hours. Jax is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $250 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. Meet Sam! We adopted him when we bought our new home. The previous owners did want to take him, so they asked if he could stay. We weren’t planning on getting a dog, but we couldn’t say no to this sweet guy. Sam was strictly an outdoor dog before, never even coming inside on bad weather days, but he adapted quickly to being indoors. Within hours, he was using a doggie doorbell to go outside, with only a few accidents. He loves to cuddle up with anyone willing. Sam doesn’t get along with cats (we have two) and prefers older kids (preteens and up). He’s s super smart and easy to train& he knows how to sit, stay, and give paw for treats. He’s s used to an electric fence and loves playing catch. He’s s also a toy destroyer, so make sure any chew toys are indestructible! We want Sam to find a great home, but we just don’t t have the time he deserves. He’s s a wonderful dog, and we know the right family will love him.

If you are in search of a loving, yet active little dog, then you have found just the right girl! Bonnie is a young, one year old, 18 pound, Jack Russell who is spunky and happy and oh so cuddly. She is the total package of smart, quick to learn, and easy to love. Bonnie is a little shy when you first meet her, but we guarantee she will warm up fast. She loves to play with other dogs and pull out all the toys at the foster home. And what a cuddle bug she is who longs to be someone’s very special little girl. She is still working on her house training, but is crate trained for short periods. No, 8 hour long crate time will work for her. As you can imagine with an active dog, a fenced in yard would work best. Bonnie would also love to have her new family home most of the time because she loves her people. We are recommending that she be with an active family as she loves to see new sights and is ready for travel adventures and car rides. She is on the go and ready to love you!
