Meet Taeyang!

🐶Rescue Story
Taeyang was born on May 23, 2025. His mother, Dahaeng, had been wandering as a stray while pregnant and gave birth to six puppies in the garden area of an apartment complex. All of Taeyang’s siblings have found loving families. Taeyang is the only puppy still waiting for a home and currently
Taeyang is an affectionate pup with an outgoing and curious personality, yet he can get a bit cautious in unfamiliar situations. He was in a foster home for one week, and his foster said he adjusted to a new home in a couple of days, showing his lovely personality.
💜Interaction With People
Taeyang genuinely loves people and enjoys following them around. With his affectionate nature, loving eyes, and charming personality, he quickly wins people’s hearts.
💜Interaction With Dogs
Because he is still young, Taeyang loves approaching other dogs and inviting them to play. With dogs that are very timid or do not clearly communicate their boundaries, he may sometimes become overly playful or try to take the lead. He does best when given clear and consistent guidance or when living with a confident, well-socialized canine sibling who can communicate appropriate boundaries.
💜Interaction With Cats
Good. While being fostered for one week, he had no problems staying with seven cats. He lived peacefully and harmoniously with seven cats without any conflicts.
💜Walking manners/training: He walks calmly with no leash pulling. When he is waiting on a road, he can get slightly excited at a stranger or another dog, so training to turn his attention may be suggested. He understands the command “Sit”, and since he is highly focused, additional training can help him to learn more commands.
💜Potty Training
Goes to both indoor and outdoor potty. In a home setting, he can go to a potty on a designated pad with no mistakes. In his foster home, he has fully adapted to outdoor potty.
💜Barking
Taeyang may bark in response to outside stimuli or when standing still during walks, mainly as an expression of curiosity and alertness. With regular leash training, consistent guidance, and reassurance from a dependable guardian, he should gradually become calmer in these situations.
💜Energy Level
He has a moderate level of energy. With plenty of walking 1-2 times a day and after sniffing play at home, he falls asleep right away.
💜Other information
He naturally has a short tail that resembles a bobtail.
💜Ideal Home
Taeyang’s ideal home is with a loving, active family or individual who can provide daily walks, enrichment, and consistent positive-reinforcement training. He may need a few days to feel comfortable in a new environment, but once settled, he becomes a devoted and affectionate companion. He could do well with a confident, well-socialized dog and may also be able to live with cats following a gradual introduction. Taeyang would thrive with adopters who appreciate his playful curiosity and can help him continue developing calm, polite manners.
