Story
Name: Yangpa Age: 4 years old Sex: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Cream Current Weight: 20.7kg Height (shoulder): 57cm Rescue Story: Yangpa and his family were cruelly abandoned by the roadside. His mother was tied to a tree, while Yangpa and his siblings—only two months old at the time—were left in a box nearby. They were sent to the city shelter for euthansia and Thankfully, they were all rescued but none of them have been adopted yet, and have been living in a kennel ever since Personality & Behavior: Yangpa can be a little shy at first, but offer him a treat and he’ll quickly warm up to you. He’s incredibly affectionate and loves human interaction. He enjoys cuddling, belly rubs, and being held close—he’ll even lie in your lap with his belly up. Despite being unfamiliar with children under 13, Yangpa has shown no signs of discomfort around new people and can be bathed or walked by unfamiliar people without issue. He’s not particularly interested in toys but bonds strongly with people and prefers human company over that of other dogs. He will approach new dogs politely but doesn’t engage in active play with them. His energy level is moderate—he enjoys being outdoors but settles down calmly after exercise. Yangpa walks very well on a leash, doesn’t pull, and follows his human companion beautifully. He is not food-aggressive toward people or other dogs. He’s calm in a kennel and generally prefers to relieve himself outdoors. While he’s not a fan of getting into cars and needs to be lifted in, he remains quiet and well-behaved once inside. Additional Notes: • Not tested with cats • Can be picked up and held comfortably Yangpa is a sweet, gentle soul ready to find his forever home with someone who will shower him with the love and care he’s always deserved. Story
***Currently fostered in Barrie, ON. Guksoo is still looking for a loving family Guksoo is a neutered Jindo mix boy who is about 4 years old.He can be shy at first, but slowly warms up over time, and tends to trust women more than men. Deep down he loves people and wants to be with them all the time! When he first came into his foster home, he was very shy but would timidly ask for pets by slowly pawing at the humans. Now, he has become more social and will come up to strangers with a wagging tail to ask for pets and treats! He still continues to paw at his foster parents when he wants attention, and loves to snuggle and give kisses first thing in the morning. He is okay and gentle with kids, but can be startled by sudden movements. After some time, good food, and lots of walks, he will open up and give you lots of kisses and hugs When it comes to other dogs, Guksoo LOVES to play! And especially loves girl dogs. He loves to run and play with his doggy friends and is excited to play with both new and familiar friends. With his foster sibling, he loves to groom her and give her lots of kisses. However, he is still learning that not all dogs like to play, especially on leash, and he can get a bit frustrated when he sees another dog on a walk that he cant say hi to. He is learning how to be neutral to other dogs while walking and responds well to his handler. He has a medium energy level, he loves going for walks and exploring, and rests well once at home. He has a low prey drive and ignores cats when he meets them while on walks, but sometimes likes to chase birds and squirrels. He is currently fostered with bunnies and lived with a cat for a short time, he is very gentle with them and leaves them alone after a quick sniff. On walks, Guksoo can be a bit excited at first but will eventually relax and walk by his handler’s side, occasionally stopping to sniff. He rarely pulls unless he sees another dog or a small animal but is easily redirected. He is fully potty trained outdoors. Guksoo Rarely barks, only when a stranger knocks on the door or if something new startles him. He has no destructive behaviours and can be left alone in the home without any issues. He loves to chew and enjoys playing with his chew toys or a long lasting treat.  Will you welcome this sweet boy into your family? Story
Meet Bandal! 6 months old | Neutered male Jindo | Black and White 9kg | 35cm at the shoulder Bandal is a sweet 6-month-old Jindo boy rescued just in time from euthanasia at a city shelter. He may be a little shy at first, but with a few treats (especially dried chicken, his favorite!), he quickly warms up and lets you pet him. Once he trusts you, he loves to be held and snuggled in your arms. Bandal is gentle by nature and has a calm, affectionate personality. He’s not experienced around kids under 13, but he does great with other dogs—friendly with familiar pups and even approaches new dogs to play. He’s especially comfortable with dogs around his own size and tends to avoid confrontation, even if another dog is rude to him. He hasn’t met any cats yet, so we’re unsure about his response. He enjoys outdoor time and has a normal energy level—playful outside, but calm and relaxed afterward. He walks well on leash, though he can pull a little, and generally follows his person nicely. He’s also: Quiet and rarely barks Calm in a crate Good in the car—can jump in and out by himself Not food-aggressive with people or other dogs Prefers to potty outdoors This affectionate, good-natured pup is ready to find his forever family. Story
Meet Maim (Brother of Ahim & Heim) 4-month-old male | Jindo mix | 5.8kg   Meet Maim, a gentle and cautious 4-month-old Jindo mix pup. While he can be a little shy at first, he’ll gladly take treats from your hand and slowly warm up to you in his own time. Once trust is built, he even shows his belly and allows gentle handling—including being picked up with an arm under his tummy. Maim is sensitive to sudden movements or loud noises, especially from young children under 13, and feels more comfortable in calm environments. He tends to feel intimidated around dogs that are significantly larger or more energetic than him. However, he thrives when he’s with another dog—he’s emotionally dependent and gains confidence from having a canine companion nearby. He enjoys walks in quiet areas, though he’s more focused on sniffing than walking straight, often stopping and starting as he goes. Busy roads and unexpected noises can startle him, but he recovers well with support. He’s not possessive over food with either people or other dogs. Maim is currently working on both indoor pad training and outdoor potty routines. He doesn’t mind water and tolerates baths well, and he’s comfortable being touched all over, including his paws. He does get carsick and whines in a kennel, so car travel isn’t his favorite yet—but with patience, he’s sure to improve. Maime is a sweet soul looking for a quiet, understanding family—ideally with another friendly dog—to help him continue to blossom. Story
Meet Yutan 6 months | 14kg | 38 cm tall |Neutered Male | Jindo Mix | White Human Socialization Yutan is an affectionate and friendly boy who enjoys being around people. He readily approaches both familiar faces and strangers, happily seeking attention and allowing pets. That said, if left alone for the first time, he might feel scared and a bit shy. With gentle touch and patience, he quickly warms up and shows no resistance to being held or petted. He also takes treats well. In a new home, he may need just a day or two to adjust. He currently lives with a child under 13 and is especially bonded with them. He allows being picked up with arms under his belly and will show his belly to those he trusts. When feeling relaxed, he may even show his belly to someone he’s just met. Dog Socialization Yutan hasn’t had many opportunities to interact with other dogs. He will approach unfamiliar dogs to greet them but doesn’t actively try to play. He shows no signs of fear or aggression and would likely do well in a home with another dog. He tends to get along well with similar-sized or smaller dogs. Larger dogs can make him nervous, and he may try to avoid them. Cats He hasn’t been tested with cats, but he may initially be scared upon first meeting one. Given time, he is expected to adapt well. Cat testing can be arranged if needed. Energy Level Yutan has a moderate energy level. He enjoys outdoor activities but knows how to settle down and rest calmly afterward. Walking He loves walks and has been friendly and cooperative even on walks with unfamiliar people. He tends to follow people well and is easy to handle on a leash Other Behavior Yutan does not guard food from people or other dogs. He rarely barks, though he may vocalize to express a need or desire. He might bark at unfamiliar people due to fear, but this is expected to improve with continued socialization. Since he only recently began going on walks, he is currently using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors. Rescue Story Yutan was abandoned in front of a shipping container. Yutan’s ready to bond deeply with a forever family—could it be you?
