Meet Pearl — A Sweet & Social Jindo Mix Looking for Her Forever Family! Name: Pearl Age: 9 months Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight: 21 kg Height: 56 cm (shoulder height) Personality with People Pearl is a very affectionate and friendly girl who happily approaches both familiar people and strangers. She loves leaning in for pets and allows handling easily. With people she knows well, she’s a total sweetheart — she may jump up to give kisses and show her playful affection. She does well with children under 13 and is comfortable being gently lifted with an arm under her belly. Once she trusts you, she’ll even show her belly Socialization with Other Dogs Pearl enjoys greeting and playing with both familiar and unfamiliar dogs. She does have a timid side — if several dogs (even small ones) rush toward her at once, she may retreat. She can be a little socially unaware at times and may try to initiate play even if the other dog is unsure. With very high-energy dogs, she will clearly communicate when she’s uncomfortable. Cats Pearl has not yet been tested with cats, but a cat test can be arranged if needed. Energy Level Pearl has a moderate energy level. Meet Terra Name: Terra Age: 1 year Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight: 12.8 kg Height: 43 cm (at the shoulder) Rescue Story Terra was rescued in May from an illegal dog meat farm. She was among a group of dogs discovered during a second rescue operation, just 42 days after a previous rescue had taken place at the same location. People Terra absolutely loves people. While she may briefly freeze when entering a new environment, she quickly warms up and settles in. In familiar surroundings, she is affectionate and outgoing, happily approaching both people she knows and complete strangers for attention and affection. She enjoys being petted, loves men as well as women, and is comfortable being picked up with an arm under her belly. Terra is so trusting that she will often roll over and show her belly even to someone she has just met. Dogs Terra is very social with other dogs and enjoys meeting both familiar and unfamiliar canine friends. She loves to greet dogs and invite them to play. Her play style can be energetic and a little wild, which means calmer dogs may occasionally find her a bit overwhelming. She generally gets along best with dogs of a similar size and enjoys playing with higher-energy companions. Even when another dog tries to provoke her, she tends to avoid conflict rather than escalate it. Cats Terra has not yet been tested with cats, but a cat test can be arranged. Energy Level Terra currently has a moderately high energy level. Outdoors, she loves running and playing and could happily spend hours exploring.
