Meet Pearl — A Sweet & Social Jindo Mix Looking for Her Forever Family! Name: Pearl Age: 9 months Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight: 21 kg Height: 56 cm (shoulder height) Personality with People Pearl is a very affectionate and friendly girl who happily approaches both familiar people and strangers. She loves leaning in for pets and allows handling easily. With people she knows well, she’s a total sweetheart — she may jump up to give kisses and show her playful affection. She does well with children under 13 and is comfortable being gently lifted with an arm under her belly. Once she trusts you, she’ll even show her belly Socialization with Other Dogs Pearl enjoys greeting and playing with both familiar and unfamiliar dogs. She does have a timid side — if several dogs (even small ones) rush toward her at once, she may retreat. She can be a little socially unaware at times and may try to initiate play even if the other dog is unsure. With very high-energy dogs, she will clearly communicate when she’s uncomfortable. Cats Pearl has not yet been tested with cats, but a cat test can be arranged if needed. Energy Level Pearl has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities and walks, but once her exercise is done, she settles nicely and relaxes indoors. ‍ Walking & Leash Skills She does pull on the leash at times but generally follows her handler well. Personality & Social Skills Ben is an incredibly affectionate and social dog who absolutely loves people. He happily approaches both familiar people and strangers, leans in for pets, and enjoys physical affection. He is gentle enough to be picked up with arms under his belly and will even show his belly to people he just met. He is also wonderful with children and has interacted well with elementary school-aged kids. With Other Dogs Ben greets unfamiliar dogs confidently and is generally friendly toward dogs of all sizes — large, medium, and small. He especially enjoys inviting new dog friends to play, and if they are not interested, he can be a little persistent and playful. Once he settles in, he gets along very well with other dogs and is currently living with around 20 small to large dogs at a rescue cafe environment. Although he enjoys canine company, Ben craves human love and attention deeply. Because of this, we believe he may thrive best as the only dog in a home where he can receive plenty of love and focus. Cats & Small Animals Ben has a strong prey drive toward cats and birds and will try to chase them during walks, so a home without cats or small animals is required.
