Hi, Luca is an absolutely lovely dog, and it breaks my heart, but I have to leave the U.S. and sadly can’t take him with me. He comes with a ton of great stuff — high-quality toys, lots of good food (both canned and dry), cozy beds, and more. I’m really hoping to find a kind, responsible person — ideally someone with kids and a yard — who can give him a loving home. It’s kind of urgent, so I’d love to meet someone who truly clicks with him. The price is mostly just for all the supplies and puppy essentials. P.S. I got him from a breeder for almost $2K, so he’s really special. All vaccinations are done.

6/30/25- These girls were given up by an original owner. They originally had 13 pups in the litter. Most got homes. These girls were given to rescue as they are now 4 and half months old. They are very sweet once they warm up. They love to give kisses and will give you lots of puppy energy. They are used to being kenneled in the back yard. They are great with other dogs kids and cats. They have been to the vet and cleared. They have the first set of vaccines and de worming. If you are looking to adopt please send us a direct email and request an application. *PLEASE NOTE: The first step in the process is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org * Drake is loving life in his foster home, but now it’s time for him to find his furever family… We rescued Drake back in 2020. He is a 7 year old pup now and we guess he is a labradoodle mix. He was adopted a few years ago but recently, instead of contacting us to surrender the Drake back to us when they were unable to keep him, the adopter brought him to the shelter. Not only did they bring him to the shelter, they told the shelter to EUTHANIZE HIM!! Why? Because he is reactive/ doesn’t get along with small dogs, something they knew when they adopted him. Thankfully we were notified and able to get him back into our care quickly. He has been doing so well in foster and deserves to finally find the right people. Drake is a big boy (100+ pounds, but does need to lose some weight) and loves cuddles. He greatly enjoys long walks and car rides. He is super smart and food motivated. Drake is a go with the flow dude who just wants people to love. He would be best as the only animal in the home and with people committed to managing his reactivity. He is very easy to redirect with treats and will thrive with the right people. Drake is currently being fostered in Santa Monica, California area but can be adopted anywhere as long as you can come to SoCal and drive home. *PLEASE NOTE: The first step in the process is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org . This gorgeous, mellow mannered, senior girl was dumped at a grooming facility by her previous owner. She was not in good shape, and she didn’t understand why her owner never came back for her. That was no way for this senior girl’s story to end. Now she is with us, getting the care she needs. We know there will be a family out there willing to give her a soft place to land to ride out her remaining golden years. Azalea was clearly breed until they could no longer get a viable litter out of her, and by the way her teeth are worn down she was probably chewing on cage bars for a very long time. Since being with us, she has learned how to play with toys! She just loves being with people and getting affection. Her previous family did not deserve her, but will do our best to give her all the love she missed out on! Azalea has some medical issues to get past. We are currently working on getting her skin and ear infections under control. Then she has some masses that need to be removed and have biopsies sent out on. We know there is somebody out there that will fall in love with this sweet girl, and be willing to open up their loving home so she can live out her golden years in luxury!May 6, 2025, 5:50 pm
