ADOPT MILES and LOUIS (Courtesy post) These two beautiful boys were abandoned on the streets of Fontana many months ago. They were infested with ticks and fleas and it was clear they hadn’t been cared for in some time. No one responded to their found dog listings (which maybe was the best thing for them). They’ve been fully vetted and both have completed an immersive training program and are really smart and great with commands! They get lots of playtime and belly rubs and naps with their foster humans and now they are ready for a forever home. The vet thinks they are between 8-months and 1-year old and sheepdog doodle mixes! Beautiful, brindle coloring on what we guess to be Labrador mixes. These beauties will grow to be between fifty to sixty-five pounds. Leash trained, they come with knowledge of basic commands and are eager to learn more for the appropriate treat. Lester is the more active of the two and will be an avid hiker. Stitch loves his walks as well, but is just as happy as a couch potato. Due to wonderful dispositions, they can be adopted together or will adjust well in separate, loving homes.

Tahoe is a calm and friendly 8-year-old white Lab mix who has an easygoing, affectionate personality. Despite his age, Tahoe has plenty of playful energy and loves his walks, plush toys, and training sessions. He’s an excellent leash walker with a loose, easy gait, and he enjoys sniffing around, occasionally showing curiosity but remaining calm even when passing by other dogs or people. Tahoe is quick to settle into a routine. He’s house-trained (immediately pees and poops once outside) and knows basic commands like “sit,” “down,” “stay,” and “watch me.” He’s also very treat-motivated—especially for hot dogs—and responds well to training sessions. He enjoys a game of fetch and engages playfully with toys, though he can get a little possessive over plushies and may need some guidance on `leave it.` Tahoe thrives on attention and loves to stay close to his human companions. He’s known to lean in for pets, make soft eye contact, and offer gentle tail wags. After playing or training, he’ll calmly settle next to you, perhaps hopping up for a few extra pets or licking your hand in appreciation. Though Tahoe can be quite independent at times, he does have some separation anxiety and prefers not to be left alone for too long. He’s happiest when he’s near his people and may get anxious when separated. This loyal companion would do best in a home where someone is around to spend quality time with him. He loves running around the yard and playing, but he finds time for snuggling as well. Lobo is quite a character- he has so much fun playing with his toys that he usually draws a crowd of onlookers. He runs full speed after any toy thrown his way, then grabs it, rolls onto his back and holds the toy in his front paws to give it a good chew. Then he throws it into the air and runs after it again.
