🐼💎🐼 ADOPT ME 🐼💎🐼 Our lovely gal Panda is now up for adoption!!! She is an absolute gem of a dog 💎💎💎 Someone had dumped her in a rural area and we still can’t understand why. She’s just delightful in every way!!! Panda is housebroken, polite, affectionate, very sweet, happy, enthusiastic and calm when necessary. She gets along very well with other dogs & cats. We believe her to be a Lab mix, with maybe some Newfoundland in her, but we are unsure. She’s about 70lbs. Although she’s one of our best behaved, nicest dogs she will probably be overlooked due to her being a big, black dog. She is special and we know it, she’s a beauty inside & out. The ideal home for Panda would be- 🐾 She could probably be an only dog or gets along well with others. She loves her humans, so ideally is looking for a human who would like a companion 🐾 We don’t know how old Panda is but are guessing she’s an early senior, maybe around 7? We have her on some joint supplements to help her age more gracefully. She’s still quite active & enjoys her walks & playtime. 🐾 Panda is very well behaved, but we are still working on her jumping on people when she is excited. She loves people! 😂 We don’t have a substantial amount of requirements for Panda as she is an exceptional gal just looking for love & a new family! Okie is a fun and loving dog. He loves to play fetch. In fact, if he could play fetch all day long, he surely would. Okie is house and crate trained and loves getting petted and lounging around on dog beds. He also loves chewing on his Benebone, ropes, and soft toys. He is excellent at not putting things in his mouth that don't belong to him, unless we are talking food. He is very good at learning commands when taught with treats. He would do well in a home where everyone is aged 10-12 and up because he treats smaller kids as part of his pack and thinks he is the boss. When Okie was a puppy, a large reactive dog ran up to him and barked aggressively. I think this caused him to be fearful of other dogs. Since that day he reacts to dogs based on how they approach him, where calm = calm and reactive = reactive. He sheds like crazy and will require daily brushing to keep the shedding in check.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, please let me introduce myself, my name is Sarah and I am a Lab/Jack Russell Terrier. I am house trained and crate trained, and love to go on walks and sniff around a securely fenced backyard.  Did I tell you that its me that pick all the tomatoes from the plants in the yard ? I am also spayed and have had all of my shots. Sarah was abused by her first human family, so she finds it hard to trust new people and has fear aggression. It will take time to gain Sarah's trust and multiple meetings.  She needs an owner that can give her guidance (and plenty of treats) in situations when she feels insecure. After meeting a trainer Sarah have improved a lot and she responds to her special verbal command.  A training class would be a great adventure for Sarah and her new family. She will excel and perform as an A-student, she likes to learn and is eager to please. Building a relationship with Sarah will be time well spent, once she has overcome her insecurity and fear she is a GREAT active, loyal, and loving dog.  Please come and meet me,  I need is a chance to find my permanent home. Older children only pleas e.    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.  Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
