Story
Bessie and Hettie are bonded purebred Labrador Retrievers. We think they are sisters. They were found as strays nearly 2 years ago and are still looking for a forever home. These senior sisters are full of love towards all humans and can get along with dogs after they know the new dogs aren't going to hurt them. These girls have various health concerns, with their advanced age that's to be expected. We are guessing them to be 13ish years old. (As of June 2023). Bessie is the black girl, she's overweight and mellow. She had a couple benign tumors removed and is slow to get up at times. Probably no long staircases for her. She's just full of love though, melts into your touch and rolls over for belly rubs. Hettie is the chocolate girl and she's spry and no mobility issues for her. She does have some severe allergies. We've tried food trials, medications, and nothing has helped completely. It seems to be environmental and we have a bunch of fields, trees, etc around us. She's just as sweet as Bessie with humans and a bit more concerned of other dogs. These sisters need a home willing to give them love and inside comforts for what little bit of life they have left. They currently live in an indoor/outdoor run set up and I'm not sure if they are housebroken or even been a house pet before. Their adoption fee is covered....can you give them a home?

Story
Vesta is 3 years old and was born June 22, 2019. She is a lab/put mix and I received her from kcpp at 4 months. She fought parvo with the care of kcpp! She’s a tough cookie. She gets so excited when her owner gets home and absolutely loves food. She loves attention and cuddles and is a couch potato. She loves her bones and loves chewing on toys. We have a lot of fun at dog parks and gets along with all dogs. Vesta has only been around one cat and leaves her alone majority of the time. She always wants to play so attention is needed! She does great on walks and is curious about everything. Her tail is pretty strong so when she gets happy she does get happy tail. She gets allergies here and there so getting a vet visit is a must once a year. She enjoys baths but does not enjoy water in the face but will tolerate it. She knows basic commands such as sit, lie down and up. Her kennel is her safe spot and I will provide that with her. I’m unable to keep her due to my move into an apartment.

Story
Hans is a an 8 month old lab/beagle mix with lots of play energy and a fondness for toys! We are seeking a new home that can give him more attention and play time, as our family schedule has proved difficult to balance with a dog at home. We adopted Hans at 8 weeks old and have trained him as best we can (house broken, basic commands etc) along with a puppy training class. He is comfortable around our two children (1 and 10) but definitely wants to play all the time and likes to be the center of attention! We are happy to include his kennel (he is used to being in it all night (9:30pm-7am) and during the typical workday.

Story
Hollis is a good boy with a lot of energy. He needs a large fence with a tie out to keep him from escaping. He is very rough and mouthy when he plays and because of this he shouldn’t be around kids. I am rejoining him because of my younger siblings and anyone who takes him should know that he should be around adults or teens only. He has the potential to be a great dog, he’s just very energetic and a little bit over playful.
