She weighs about 45 pounds, so she’s probably a bit smaller than she looks in a lot of her pics. Her personality is a lot like many people we know: she’s looking for fun times and stuff to do, 📅 🏃‍♂️‍➡️🛍️ and then once she celebrates the good times or whatever 🎊, she wants some downtime to recharge for next time. Know what we mean? 🛋️🛌 Callaway is friendly with people and good with kids. Any household would be lucky to have someone who loves every single person the same. Because she’s a 1-year-old girl instead of a puppy, we fully know her personality. She is very smart and picks up on things quickly, so she’ll get your routines down and start anticipating what comes next. She already has basic training for things like sit, come, kennel and inside, plus leash walking (that training is another advantage to being young enough but not a tiny baby). Chase has learned to live with our cat & I've seen him play well with small dogs.He has medium/big dog fear aggression. I asked previous owner if he had been attacked or bitten by another dog or wild animal, they said no. He's been a part of our family for 4 yrs & isn't as reactive w/other dogs as he used to be. That's to say, if he is a good distance he doesn't growl, show teeth, or lunge as much.Chase needs an experienced adopter, plenty of room to roam in his own pvt yard without medium/big dogs nearby. I have talked with a couple of trainers & they think it's likely he can be trained out of his fear aggression. This would be from a knowledgeable owner or trained professional.He loves people & attention. I would caution that he isn't in a home w/small children just because he hasn't lived w/young children in our home or w/original owner.He really is very sweet like Golden Retrievers are known for, he just has some special needs.Any of his supplies you want are part of adoption fee!
