At about 77 pounds, she’s a classic Lab—affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s by your side. Tory is incredibly people-focused and thrives on companionship. In her foster home, she is calm, affectionate, and comfortable with her family, including both adult men and children. Once she feels safe, she bonds deeply and shows just how sweet and gentle she truly is. 🐾 On Walks & Daily Life Tory does well on leash and responds nicely when the leash is taut—she’ll stop and match your pace. While she may pull occasionally, she’s easily redirected by hearing her name and settles quickly. She enjoys being out and about, especially when she knows her person is guiding her. 💙 A Note About New Men Tory can feel unsure when first meeting unfamiliar men. This uncertainty may show up as loud barking and backing away, which is rooted in fear and anxiety—not aggression. With calm guidance, patience, and reassurance, she settles and builds trust. Theodore would fit in anywhere, with anyone. He’s a one-of-a-kind puppy who is a sweet, snuggly love bug. He is making the most of his puppyhood, and he’s open to trying anything. He hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t like, he’ll sit and cuddle with whoever wants to love on him, and he’s ready to listen to his people and do what they say. Theodore loves all the kids he’s met, and he likes his canine buddies – both for playing and for snuggling up. He does ok on leash, especially for a puppy, and he’s working on house training. At night, he sleeps in his kennel like the good boy he is. He is a 3-month-old Labrador Retriever mix cutie who we think will be 30-45 pounds full-grown. Hiya! My name is Lucky. My foster mom named me that because, well, I am a lucky 🍀 boy! She found me on the side of the road, alone, blind and underweight 😔 I’m lucky that she took me home 🏠 with her and has taken care of me ever since! I’ve learned so much already - like kennels aren’t too bad because I get treats and bones when I go in them. Treats and food 🦴 are most definitely a favorite thing of mine. I get super excited when I know I’m about to get some. You want to know something else? I really love pets, especially from kids 👶 👧 👦 Kids are great! Dogs are also pretty cool 😎 They can be scary though when they run into me and I don’t know they are there wanting to play (that's one challenge of being blind!). But not to worry! I make my way around everything pretty well even though I can’t see. My other senses help me just fine and are heightened because I can’t see. I still like to do normal dog stuff like play with toys 🥎 I find all the toys with my nose 👃 They seem to think that I'm around 7 years young and I am still plenty active! Do you like to snuggle? Chase does well with our cat and I've seen him play well with small dogs. He does have big dog fear aggression. I asked previous owner if he had been bitten by a big dog or a wild animal, they said no. Chase has been a part of our family for 3.5 years and he isn't as reactive with big dogs as he used to be. That's to say, if he is a good distance he doesn't growl and lunge as much. Chase needs an experienced adopter with plenty of room to roam in his own private yard without big dogs nearby. I have talked with a couple of trainers and they think it's likely he can be trained out of his fear aggression. This would be from a knowledgeable owner or trained professional. He loves people and attention. I would caution that he isn't in a home with small children just because he hasn't lived with young children in our home or with original owner. He really is very sweet like Golden Retrievers are known for, he just has some special needs.
