Story
Hello, this is Tobias (Toby). He’s a wonderful dog and I wish I could keep him. Very chill dog that loves to play and eat. I have had him since he was out of the litter. We are really attached but Im currently unable to provide him the life i believe he deserves. Im not in a rush to give him up, I’m looking for a family that can house a large dog so that Toby can have lots of space to stretch out in and have a better quality of life. I have a adoption fee as a small cost for my time with him.

Story
**Current location: in a foster home in South Korea** Say hi to OhGong👋 a sweet, friendly boy with a charming black muzzle! He was found on the street in South Korea at 3 months old and taken to a high-risk city shelter along with his five other siblings. Luckily, they were rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and started living with other dogs in the local shelter. Despite some time spent at the shelter, Ohgong was given a chance to live in his current foster home in June 2023. His current foster family has been taking good care of him since, and Ohgong has learned how to harmoniously live with people with love, and now he is ready to find his forever home😊 > Personality: Friendly, Sweet, Gentle Just like when OhGong was widely known for his super friendly personality among the shelter staff, he continued to be very loving and sweet to his foster family. He loves to kiss you and be petted by you. His energy level is medium. He is usually calm at home but becomes active when playing with toys! Plus, he is such a gentle walker. > Affinity with - Dogs: Very dog-friendly! He doesn’t even bark towards other dogs. - Cats: He tends to chase cats out of curiosity but doesn’t show aggression. - Adults/Kids: Good with people in general but a little bit shy around male adults / Okay with kids. He is rather indifferent to them. > Walking Manners: Super well-mannered! Pacing with his person without pulling the leash. He responds to “Let’s go” while sniffing around. > Housetrained: Fully housebroken, going potty outdoors as well as using pee-pads indoors > Bathing/Brushing: Tolerates both very well. > Car Rides: Very comfortable with car rides. > Separation Anxiety: None. He showed some signs of separation anxiety at the beginning of foster, but not anymore when two months of foster passed. He spends most of his time sleeping while he is left alone at home. > Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit of barking only when greeting his family at home. > Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. > Likes/Dislikes: OhGong LOOOVES playing with toys, especially squeaky ones! He seems to even prefer toys to treats. > Shedding level (1~10): 5-7 If you have an open heart and a loving home for Ohgong, please don't hesitate to apply!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. HELEN was saved from a kill shelter in Louisiana and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 10 October 2023. HELEN is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. She has an estimated date of birth of May 2023 and at the time of transport weighed around  34 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue     YouTube channel     and     photo albums on our Facebook page     to see a LOT of pictures and videos. HELEN is a sweet, affectionate, loving girl, who is full of that teenage energy. She is somewhat shy when she first meets people, or is in a new environment, but she is very gentle and will just go and hang out in a distance watching until she feels more confident. She has been around adults of all ages, shapes and sizes, small children and people with special needs and was gentle and loving. She is always wiggling her bum, which in-turn wiggles her whole body and she is definitely a favourite with volunteers and everyone that meets her. She came on our December outing to Bissell Brothers and was great on the leash, on the bus and around people. She is looking for an active family who can give her the lifestyle that she needs to lead a happy, healthy life.  We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. HELEN is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a reduced adoption  fee of $250. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - As the dogs are in the kennels, we are not able to say how they are with cats. This sweet boy is still a young pup and so we are looking for families who understand that puppies are a lot of work and need lots of socializing, training, structure and routine.
