Story
Rocky is in the building! I'm a young boy, looking for a new pal. I would consider myself to be a playful guy. I enjoy running around and letting out my energy at the dog park. My previous owners would say that I've been around children and I've done well. They would also say that when I'm not outside playing, I behave pretty well, just lounging at home. Think you have what it takes to be my new bestie?

Story
Tie is an incredible dog that is in need of a loving owner and/or family. I have raised him since he was a puppy, is crate trained, has good leash manners and basic commands (sit, down, stay, roll over, and recall in an enclosed area). He’s a gentleman at dog parks and is friendly with all humans and children. We recommend no children under 5, given his size and general energy. Tie is a total sweetheart and would do best in a home with plenty of space and a fully fenced-yard (or someone with a very active lifestyle for many daily walks/runs). He’s excellent with my 5-year-old and connects easily with new humans (he loves cuddles and as much play time as you can give him.) He would also do best with a family who can walk him or take him to dog-parks frequently; he will be as active as you are (for hikers, campers, etc.). He is used to being crated when I’m working and out of the house. I’ll provide all of his bedding, crate, leash/collar/harness, toys, current food and treats.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi new friends, Amory here!     I'm a nine-year-old pit mix. I may be considered "older", but you'd never know it when meeting me. I love walks around the neighborhood, car rides, and going to new places...all the things! As long as I'm with my people, I'm happy. I also LOVE to snuggle. Movie time is my favorite, and if I can snuggle up next to you and sleep, I’m in heaven!    I’m crate trained, house trained, and I'm a pro with the doggy door. My foster parents say that after a couple of weeks of adjusting, I'll be just fine left out in my new home while my family is away. I just snuggle up on the couch or a dog bed for a nice nap until my people return.     I’m good with other dogs and really love little dogs. I will even play tug with other dogs or run around the yard to play when they want. I'm pretty content doing whatever the other dogs in the house enjoy! Oh, and did I mention that I love kids? I think they're so fun! My foster mom says I'm too interested in cats and should probably live without them, but otherwise, I'm as close to perfect as they come!    As I mentioned, I’m in great health for my age and like other senior dogs, I just need a joint supplement to keep my body in good shape. If you could give a sweet senior girl a nice, cozy place to retire, a few toys and bones, and so much love, please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 7, 2024, 11:42 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet handsome Perigee! Perigee is almost 1 year old and weighs in around 35lbs. I'm listed as a lab mix, and we're guessing there are several other breeds in that "mix" lol! I'm looking for a special family, because I'm a special boy! I am basically the sweetest little man you will ever meet - loving and affectionate and full of snuggles I love my doggie friends and I've lived with pups as small as 5lbs! I'm playful and fun, but I also know how to leave dogs alone if they don't want to play. I love toys, too, and if no one wants to play, I'm pretty awesome at throwing the ball for myself! I'm a friendly, social guy and I love meeting new friends, both human and canine. I'm also totally crate trained (I love my crate!) and totally potty trained (I would never mark indide your home or have an acident!) Oh, so anyway, back to that "special needs" thing. I have Mega Espophogis. That means I have to eat in a special chair because my espophogus doesn't do it's job (lazy!) and I need gravity to helpo make sure my food gets to my stomach - otherwise I will regurgitate (gross and not fun). The chair and the right food (FreshPet is my fave) makes all the difference! I also take a couple of pills daily. I am a super smart kid and I think I would be so good at so many things! I would be best at being your best friend, though. I love to play outside, go for walks and all the other fun dog things! And then, of course, snuggles on the couch after. I have a great moderate energy and so much love to give. Do you think you could be the family I've been waiting for? Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication! I've been with Rescue Rovers for 8 months already and no one has wanted me. I would really love my own family. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Are you looking for a gem? Well, you're in luck! Meet Ammolite (mostly tan) and Malachite (black and white) both 4 month old females who are truly little diamonds in the rough! They will need a little polishing for you to see their true personality, but are certain to sparkle!   Ammolite loves everyone. She likes chew toys and squeeky toys. She sleeps through the night in a crate and is working on house training. She is learning to walk on a leash and will need someone who will teach/ train her to be the best dog she can be.   Malachite really likes people, but is nervous. She will need a gentle family who is both patient and excited about socialization. Mali likes her chew toys and sleeps through the night in a crate. She is doing well with house training and is learning to walk on a leash. Her biggest need is a family that will help her learn that the world isn't that scary.   Think one of these girls could be the pup for you? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello potential forever families, I’m Shadesaurus! I’m a darling 2.5 year old female lab mix and I weigh 40lbs. I’m fully house trained and crate trained. I came into rescue rovers 2 years ago as a “feral” puppy. This means I didn’t get to interact with humans for the first few months of my life. Because of this I’m very shy with new people, especially men. I really come out of my shell when other dogs are around! I currently live with 3 dogs and it’s just fantastic! I love having furry friends to play with and snuggle on fuzzy blankets. I’m even good with cats. I need a patient forever family that’s committed to training and pushing me. My foster mom has been taking me on lots of pack hikes. At first it was scary but now I absolutely love it! I have the cutest little howl when I get excited and have mastered jumping into the truck by myself (it’s a big deal guys!) I love toys, especially squeaky balls. I’m getting into playing tug and once I feel safe with my people I give the best snuggles! Quick movements make me nervous so I’d do best in a home with older, dog savvy kiddos.    Here’s the check boxes I’m looking for in a forever home:  Other dogs, the more the better  A playful pal would be awesome but I also adore my senior siblings and have learned they don’t want to play Patient, loving people who will continue my training Lots of fuzzy blankets and whipped cream  Strong commitment to keeping me safe until we’re bonded. I’ll be a flight risk at first but within a week I’ll be sharing your pillow   If you think I could be the girl for you, apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication. Story
Bradley spent the first part of his life as a breeding dog in a puppy mill. He transferred to HSU for his second chance after being seized by the USDA due to the conditions in which the dogs were being kept. Bradley is currently in a foster home where he has been crate and house-trained. He really enjoys the other dog in the foster home. Bradey can get startled by new things and sometimes needs time to know he's safe when he meets someone new, but he really wants to trust people and is making great progress! This sweet guy is learning how great life can be. He wags his tail when his foster parents say his name, greets them happily, and makes eye contact with them. Bradley loves to be petted when things are calm, run around the yard, and play with other dogs. He also enjoys treats; they help him feel more comfortable when facing a new situation. He's still unsure about getting into cars, but he seems to enjoy the ride. This is where you come in! Bradley has been waiting 50+ days and really needs the consistency of adoption and plenty of time to adjust to his new life. Foster homes are wonderful, but they're temporary. He's ready to learn with you. He comes with a bag of pet supplies! You can "Name Your Own Price" to adopt him. Are you that special human who could change his world? Make an appointment to meet Bradley! Email Foster@UtahHumane.org or call (801) 506-2411.
