Weighing just 12 pounds, she’s the perfect size for cuddling on the couch—or quietly following you around the house as your loyal little shadow. With her gorgeous long blonde coat and soulful golden eyes, Bella is a showstopper. Her hair is hypoallergenic, and we believe she may be a Maltese or Lhasa Apso mix. She’s calm, friendly, and incredibly loving—truly the definition of an easygoing companion. Bella is fully house-trained, crate trained, and very well-behaved. She enjoys exploring the backyard at her own relaxed pace, then settling in for cozy cuddle time with her foster. She gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful fit for many types of families. Health-wise, Bella is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. She was rescued from the Palmdale shelter along with her baby, Fiona, and has been an amazing mama. Now that her puppy is grown, it’s Bella’s turn to be cherished. At 9 pounds already, this playful little girl is growing fast and may become a medium-sized dog when fully grown. With her beautiful green eyes and soft golden fur, Fiona is as adorable as she is spirited. She’s a true firecracker—playful, energetic, and a little feisty—but she also knows when it’s time to wind down and snuggle up for some rest. Thanks to her sweet mama Bella and her foster family, Fiona has already started learning a daily routine and is off to a great start. Fiona loves toys, playtime, and being social. She gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, and would likely thrive in a home with another dog who can be her playmate and role model as she continues to learn the ropes. Jenga is a wonderful boy who was rescued from a high impound shelter in Kern County. He was a matted mess. He was never groomed and it was discovered that this poor boy had so many twigs and foxtails embedded in fur that caused great pain and discomfort. He must be feeling so much better now. This hasn't dampened his spirits at all. He is so loving, sweet and even. Jenga is great with other dogs and people. He's always looking for a way to get his play on. He walks well on a leash. He is under 2 years and weighs 12 pounds All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Polly is incredibly friendly with everyone she meets, familiar faces, strangers, kids, and other dogs alike. She greets every person and pup with a wagging tail and a kind, gentle demeanor. She is truly just a happy girl who enjoys life and people 🥹 Polly is also bonded with her best friend Bella, a 7-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix. Bella’s calm and loving nature perfectly complements Polly’s cheerful spirit, they love going on walks together, curling up for naps, and simply being near their people. Wherever one goes, the other happily follows. While Polly loves to be with her people, she’s learned to feel comfortable and secure when left alone. She’ll happily curl up to nap until her person returns. When she hears the leash jingle, though, she can’t contain her excitement, walks are truly the highlight of her day.
