Story
Her name is Skyline, she starts from Paradise, and…well, the metaphor writes itself.
According to her foster, she’s the happiest dog in the world: sweet, affectionate, food-motivated, playful, and delighted to be alive. I mean, just look at the sweet face! She’ll follow you from room to room, curl up next to you while you work, and make 100% sure you never feel alone in your own home. She’s very committed to this.
However, like the trail, what makes Skyline extra special is that she’s truly one of a kind. Even though she wants to be next to you, she’s confident in making her own decisions. When she's tired, she puts herself to bed. She sleeps through the night on her own without complaint, plays hard, cuddles hard, and decides herself when to do all of it.
The real Skyline Trail is famous for having something for everyone. This pup offers something eerily similar. Couch potato day? She's in. Adventure day? No problem. Sick day where you need some emotional support? Consider it done.
She's still getting the hang of pottying outside, but she's reliable on pads in the meantime. She's good with other dogs and kids, food-motivated, and an all-around joy to be near.
Some trails you hike once and think about forever. Some dogs are like that, too. Skyline is one of them.

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:
✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.
✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).
✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.
The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.
Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.
Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
