We got Rizzo when she was just 8 weeks old during Covid for my birthday. Both my husband and I work in health care and law enforcement so we had to work and found our way to entertain ourselves with Rizzo. Rizzo, out of a litter of 5, stole my heart from the minute I laid eyes on her. She is the most loyal and loving dog. She was my first child, now I have three, and she will always be my favorite, don’t tell my kid. Rizzo is great with kids, although she does not know her size so little kiddos may not be the most perfect match, she sometimes believes she is a lap dog. She loves laying in the sun and running around, but she can be very lazy at times. Unfortunately my husband is being relocated and we cannot take our baby girl with us due to living arrangements. My heart is sad, but I know we will find a family to take care of her.

She loves tummy rubs, fetch, and Benebone chew toys. Hetti thrives on multiple walks per day however can over heat quickly in higher temps. She is very strong and still learning manners with passing animals so an experienced handler and dog owner is a must. She loves greeting people but due to her size and still puppy behaviors, a house with kids over 12 is preferred. For Hetti to live her best life she should be a solo canine with a large fenced yard and an active owner willing to give her the exercise and attention she needs. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
