Story
This darling, bonded, daddy and son duo are sweet, funny and so charming! Charlie and Cody are a bonded pair of Poodle mixes, each weighing 12 lbs. Cody appears to be a poodle / Maltese and it looks like daddy Charlie may also have some dachshund. In the mix. Whatever they are, they are curly haired cuties that will keep you laughing with their antics. Charlie is about 8 years old and Cody is about 3 years old. They were found as strays in central Washington and were clearly terribly neglected and in horrible condition. After they were shaved down, their adorable little faces emerged. And even though they also needed extensive vet care, their friendly, affectionate, happy little personalities also started to come through. Charlie had an injury that required his left eye to be removed. He also had an old injury to his jaw. Both are now very healthy pups that have also been neutered and fully vaccinated. They were very shy when first going into their foster home, but within just a day, they were following their people around and asking for affection. They also are terrific with the other dogs in their foster home. They love to spend their day running and playing with their foster siblings, and then it’s time to curl up together for a nap. At bedtime they will settle down in a crate together, but they prefer to sleep with their people. A retired couple would be just perfect for this sweet as can be pair. They must have a fenced yard and their people must be experienced dog owners.

Story
Please Apply at www.welcomepawsrescue.org Please meet adorable and loving boy, Jjingco! Jjingco was abandoned by his previous owner along with three siblings who ended up at a high kill shelter, fortunately our Korean rescue partner was able to get him out of the shelter on the day of euthanasia. Jjingco is an outgoing, loving, sweet and friendly boy who would love nothing more than to find his forever home. Jjingco loves to be around his people and enjoys playing with other dogs, his coat recently groomed short.! We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Jjingco is patiently waiting! MORE ABOUT JJINGCO! ❤️Name: Jjingco ❤️Age: 3 years ❤️Gender: Neutered male ❤️Weight: 9 kilograms ❤️Breed: Poodle (Black) ❤️Vaccination/Neutering: Fully vaccinated / Neutered ❤️Currently in Korea 👉Relationship with Adults: Extremely friendly. 👉Relationship with kids: Extremely friendly but supervisions are recommended around small children. 👉Relationship with Other Dogs: He gets along well with the foster fur sibling. Jjingco used to live with 3 Poodles prior to surrender to the shelter. He seemed to be stressed and wary of the new environments when he came to the shelter. He avoided playing with other dogs in the beginning, but after being decompressed and well cared by foster parents, he warmed up to other furry friends. He is gentle and docile. 👉Relationship with Cats: Jjingco shows no interest in stray cats. 👉House Training: Yes, 100%. He can also use pads when the situations don't allow him to go outside to relief himself. 👉Energy Level: When outdoors, Jjingco's energy level significantly increases, but he tends to stick close during walks and doesn't tend to pull or misbehave. 👉Walks: Jjingco loves walks and follows well. 👉Separation Anxiety/Barking: Given that he spent a significant amount of time in the shelter after being separated from the owner, some level of separation anxiety may be expected, although there is no excessive barking.

Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Gabriella - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! The name Gabriella often is associated with someone that is calm, strong and independent, a homebody and trustworthy. Yep, I'd say that kinda fits me! Note from foster mom: Affectionately dubbed Miss Gabbers, is a shy sweet gal that is looking for her fur-ever home. It will take awhile for her to acclimate and show off her happy side. It took almost a month for her to let me pet her without flinching and another month before I saw her butt wiggles and happy hops! She enjoys long naps and snuggles with other dogs but no human snuggles. Tummy rubs are a favorite once she gets comfortable with you. She very much enjoys her space and doesn't like being picked up or grabbed. She does love destroying Amazon packages and cardboard is her enemy!! Not a chance that any evil boxes will sneak past her. :) Gabriella loves other dogs and is obsessed with my cat. A home with other 4 legged siblings for her to feel comfortable and take her cues from would be most beneficial for her. She is house and crate trained. She loves her crate and with door left open will use it for her naps. Gabriella would do best in a quiet home with her person either retired or that works from home where she can get lots of one on one TLC. With a patient family that will give her the time and space she needs along with some gentle words and kind pets, she will show her true beautiful nature. If you're looking for a low maintenance companion that enjoys her quiet time, she just may be a perfect fit for your family!!

A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter is willing to pay the fees & charges we will accept PayPal. Poor Peppermint was destined to be a breeding machine & live his life in a cage & just brought out to breed. But we stopped that from happening by bidding on him at an auction in Missouri & many others on this day along with some breeder releases. Living his life outside in the stinking heat day after day then in the freezing cold in winter time in a metal tin can of a shed was over. His life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. It’s soul destroying to think what these dogs were going to have to go through. He is one of the lucky ones. On this day we rescued a total of 15 breeding mums & dads & puppies who all they knew was to breed in a life of hell & then being sold to start the cycle all over again. Of course when we rescue these amazing souls they have had no veterinary care whatsoever & we have to start from scratch. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Peppermint how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home. Peppermint was bought back to the WA state where he now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Peppermint is such a sweetheart of a boy & come along way in such a short amount of time. When we first rescued him, it was very clear that someone was rough with him & trust had to be built as he would originally try to run away & hide. He would try to be playful in his foster home by running up & grabbing hold of your pants or nip your bottom to get attention from his foster mum then take off. But she would call him & he would come & run back & forth. Now she calls him & he comes or she turns around & there he is. He still does not come to his foster dad but is not worried about him, he is just being cheeky with him. For everything he has been through, he adapted quite quickly to his very devoted foster home. He went into his foster home where he knew nothing at all but was learning. All he knew was the life of being in a breeding environment. He had no clue to eat out of a bowl or what the food was he was being given. Peppermint picked up the routine in his foster home & now his personality has really began to shine. He would need time to adjust in his new home. Peppermint adores being picked up & held & cuddled his foster mum said & he just wants to be loved & he loves them back. She said he really just wants to have fun with his foster siblings & be loved & fed. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. This boy loves to play with anyone who will play with him. He is a very cheeky little guy & is still learning his puppy manners. He loves puppies too. He must go to a forever home with younger dogs & this mandatory to make him comfortable in his transition to his forever home. Peppermint eats clean in his foster home, meaning raw fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains & supplements. At first he did not want to eat at all because the food they are fed is of the lowest quality imaginable. But once he understood what was going on he now devours his food. He is now good with his baths & is now good being dried with the hairdryer. He would still need work walking on his harness & leash as it’s all completely new to him. He does not discriminate against breeds. Peppermint rides well in the car & considering the only times we know of was when he was rescued & going to the vets with his foster family. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lad only. Peppermint as you can imagine spent the first part of his life in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Peppermint where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Peppermint is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him & never give up on him. Peppermint has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in his foster home & he is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Peppermint is roughly 7 months old. He is a miniture poodle, what he is mixed with we are not sure. Male, he is roughly 9.8 lbs & he is neutered by laser by our wonderful vets. He is microchipped & had some dermatitis when we rescued him & is up to date on all his shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent & will continue to spend far more on Peppermint with purchasing him from an auction. Bringing him to WA with his travel costs, to WA. All of his medical care in WA & Omaha, including, neutered by laser, shots, vet visits etc & bringing him to WA then his adoption fee comes close to covering. His adoption fee does not even come close to covering what we have spent on Peppermint. Peppermint has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have had him around small children & he does wonderful but we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Peppermint was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Peppermint’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Peppermint potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Peppermint & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or Zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Peppermint who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lad. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Peppermint has an adoption fee of $1585 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

Look at this beautiful little soul. The absolute evil he had to go through all to make money off his back. What these sweet souls see, hear & endure is incomprehensible. Playboy was part of 2 breeders dumping dogs. They actually wanted Playboy & 9 others gone immediately in Iowa. We had to move fast because unfortunately in these situations, when they want them gone, there is no messing around for their health & safety. Being breeding dogs they are money making machines only & their time had come to an end with the breeders. We paid to get every single soul out of there & to change their lives. We cannot thank our wonderful team enough for stepping up & helping Playboy & the 9 other sweet souls. Always working together to help these precious lives. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Playboy how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home. Playboy was bought back to the WA state where he is now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Look at this boy, it’s so bloody sad what he had to go through. This little man is loving & sweet. The horror he endured on his little body & mind all to make money off his back is so disgusting. After everything he has been through he is still a lovely soul. He is beyond grateful to get out of that hell hole he was in & radiates gratitude. Playboy was very sweet from day 1 once he arrived. It was very evident from when he would be picked up he would lay on his side & that was the only time he was ever picked up was to breed. His foster mum said that now when she picks him up he snuggles into her & snuggles into her neck as she picks him up so often to give him love. She said as of just a few days ago he fell in love with toys & started playing with them & now loves them. She said this was so amazing to see & his sweet personality has come out & his joy for life. His foster mum said he will make someone fall in love with him. She also said he loves to eat & is a great eater. He eats clean in his foster home & eats, fruits, vegetables, grains & healthy proteins. At first he had no idea what he was eating but now he loves it. She also said he sits there & will stare at her with such gratitude & he has become free spirited now in the foster home. He does prefer his foster mum over his foster dad. She also said he does well with his baths & is getting used to being groomed. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. Watching him go into his very first real home, foster home was such a joy to see. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He also loves to snuggle up to his dog friends. In his foster home he also sleeps in the bed with his foster mum & will come to the side of the bed for his foster mum to pick him up & put him on the bed. Playboy was never taught to walk on a harness a leash until coming into the rescue & was being taught to walk on a slip lead but would still need work as in his foster home he gets to go out into the backyard & run around. He definitely does not like staying outside & is because of his past in fear of being left out there. He does not discriminate against breeds. He has always been with other dogs & he adores other dogs so in his forever home another dog or dogs is mandatory in his forever home for him to have his best life. Playboy rides beautifully in the car & considering the only times we know of was when he went to auction to be sold & when we got him & going with us to places & home with him foster family & back & forth to the vets & he has done so amazing in the car. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lad only. He spent his whole life confined for breeding. Playboy as you can imagine spent such a long time in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Playboy where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Playboy is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him & never give up on him. Playboy has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in his foster home & he is currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. We also tested him in a daycare & he was the perfect gentleman. Playboy needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, he enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have him with other dogs in his loving foster home. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Playboy is roughly 12 lbs & he is 21 months old. He has put on weight since being in the rescue. He is a miniature blue merle poodle, what he is mixed with we don’t know? He was neutered by laser by our wonderful vets. Playboy is up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Playboy with paying for him from a puppy mill breeder in Iowa. Oso’s own so called beloved family dropped Oso off at the biggest high kill shelter in CA. This poor boy did not stand a chance & then to add to his situation, he is a tripod. How he lost his leg, we will never know? The extremely terrified Oso whose picture screamed the fear he was in, in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. He had zero public interest & zero rescue interest on social media. But countless people wanted his life to be saved. He obviously did not present well in the shelter & would growl at people with fear. He was posted looking so extremely stressed & terrified & absolutely matted to the skin. He had to of been in tremendous pain just with his fur pulling at his skin. He only had hours left before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Yes, it appears at the age of 6 he was going to die which is absolutely unacceptable & disgusting. It was very evident very quickly that Oso had been abused very badly. He had seen & experienced cruelty. We rescued this beautiful little lad & thank goodness we did when we did because that day was going to be his last alive. Oso who is now looking for his very own forever home & who will never give up on him again & dump him & love him just as we do. Someone who will be patient & understanding of the abuse he has experienced. After we rescued Oso he was bought back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find his loving & very understanding forever home. Oso just wants to be loved, plain & simple as that. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. When we first rescued him, & he went into his foster home he ate multiple bowls of food as if he is making up for lost time. Then when he pooped there was more worms than poop. The neglect here is soul destroying. He ended up sleeping so soundly with another little rescue all snuggled up together in blankets as if he had never experienced blankets before. He is still extremely skinny & will need to continue to put on weight in his new dedicated forever home. While Oso was at our vets getting the care he needed, he was a terrified & fearful mess. He would get so frightened he was going to be hurt by someone & they were going to be cruel to him that on occasions he needed a muzzle & would get mouthy if they tried to touch his paws. But once he built trust with them, he fell in love with one of the girls as his pictures show. Oso needs a home where his family understands he has been through traumatic trauma’s & won’t give up on him the moment he shows them he is frightened. Because once he does trust you, he becomes obsessed with you & wants you to love him & play with him & will let you touch him everywhere & love you deeply. Oso’s new forever home must be a very experienced person with extremely abused & extremely fearful dogs.* Oso’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for his safety. He can get around very fast. Being a tripod does not stop him from doing anything. He runs just as fast as any dog. Baths are all new to Oso. We don’t know if he has ever been bathed or groom before we rescued him. From the appearance of when we rescued him, it appears he spent his whole life outside with the condition of his fur. It was also very deceiving how much he weighed after all his mats were shaved off him. Going to the groomer he did not enjoy & got fed up with the groomer but she built trust with him to get looking his best. He was so putrid when we rescued him that his fur changed color. He has also started getting Oso rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & will sit in his car seat next to you with his dogs friends once he knows & trusts you. Once you build that trust he will love you. He also enjoys looking out the window. He still needs continued work walking on his harness & leash. But has done amazing since being in the rescue considering his horrible past. We had to board him for several days in CA & he built trust with one of the guys looking after him & adored him. So he does like both men & women once he is comfortable with them. We are looking for a forever home for Oso where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them & there must be another dog or dogs in the home for him to thrive. Oso loves other dogs & needs another dog in the home to play with. This is mandatory for his new home. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lad only. He was left in a cage in the shelter until we rescued him. He absolutely freaks out being in a crate. Oso is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Oso has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & was fostered with other dogs in his foster home & does well with them & enjoys their company. It’s mandatory for him to be in a home with another dog or dogs for him to feel secure. Oso is roughly 6 years old 13.6 lbs & is perhaps a poodle terrier mix, what he is mixed with we are not sure at all. He is still very thin & we have been working on putting weight on this boy. He is male, & neutered by laser by our wonderful vets. He had is right front leg amputated before we rescued him & we don’t know. But it was recently amputated. He had what looks like old staining on his paws from allergies from licking. He was treated for hurting one of his paws from fear of being in a crate. We had to get him shaved down to the skin due to his fur being so severely matted. Had a dental scale & polish along with dental x-rays & was treated for round worms. He is microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & being dewormed. Oso has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We will only be accepting applications for Oso with no children or no grandchildren. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory. A fully fenced backyard is also mandatory. We were not there when Oso was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Oso’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Oso potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Oso has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Oso & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Oso who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this poor little lad. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Oso has an adoption fee of $995 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
