Meet Midnight — your future best friend, adventure buddy, and professional cuddle companion. 🖤
Midnight is a little over a year old and already proving what a special dog he is. He’s fully house trained with no accidents, incredibly gentle in the home, and happiest when he’s close to his people. He starts his mornings patiently relaxing while you enjoy your coffee, and during the day he’s mostly a calm, sleepy Velcro dog who just wants to be near you.
He’s wonderfully well behaved around the house — not destructive at all — and loves chewing on his favorite bone. Midnight enjoys one longer walk a day and already knows to go to the bathroom right on the block during walks. He used to pull on leash but has been improving so much and is eager to learn.
Midnight absolutely loves people, dogs, and kids. He’s affectionate, playful, and very smart. Occasionally his puppy excitement still comes out (especially if someone runs toward him or a scooter passes by), and he may jump or bark because he genuinely thinks everyone wants to play with him. There is absolutely no aggression — just enthusiasm and excitement.
At busy adoption events he can get overstimulated and seem a little wild, but in a home environment he’s a completely different dog: calm, loving, cuddly, and relaxed most of the day. He’s the type of dog who will happily go for a run with you, then spend the rest of the afternoon curled up nearby.
Midnight is also incredibly tolerant and gentle, allowing handling of his paws and tail easily, which makes him a wonderful candidate for families with children. He’s very trainable and eager to please. He’s still working on commands like “lie down” and improving his listening skills, but with consistency, positive reinforcement, and maturity, he’s going to grow into an absolutely amazing companion.
He’s not fully crate trained yet, but does well for a few hours at a time with a bone, calming music, and a little reassurance. He may whine briefly, but settles without becoming overly stressed.
If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a sweet family dog, a running partner, or simply a loving best friend to share your life with, Midnight is ready to meet you. 🖤
