He LOVES toys (especially carrying every single one outside to toss in the air), is great with all dogs, and will happily play for hours if you’re up for it. He’d be a great match for an active home with a fenced yard or a human who enjoys walks, runs, and outdoor time — and when it’s time to relax, Scout settles in beautifully. He is housebroken, walks nicely on leash (most of the time!), and has a wonderfully balanced energy level: he is always ready to go but is totally content to settle nearby while I work. He’s incredibly dog‑friendly and has gained confidence by watching and playing with my confident 5-year-old pup, but I believe could also do well as an only dog. He’s also respectful with toys and shows no strong prey drive on walks. With people, Scout is a gentle soul who warms up slowly to new people, but once he trusts you, his affectionate, playful personality really comes out, and he will become your best friend. Watching his confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding — he’s already come so far in the time he has been with me. Radley has had an unsettled start to his life. He was abandoned a dog daycare in Northeast DC, where I work. After trying out a new home, he came back to me as he had some pretty severe separation anxiety. He has now been living with me, my husband, our German Shepherd, and our twin boys for twelve months. He is without a doubt, the sweetest, most loving soul I’ve met. He loves other dogs, he loves people, and he is truly wonderful with children. He has no known health issues and is very energetic. He would thrive in a home with another dog, active parents, and somewhere that he won’t be left alone. Cleo has been seen to do well on car rides and takes in all the sights of the park like a pro. She loves plenty of sniff stops along the way since her curious nose never misses a thing! Because Cleo is always in motion, she’ll thrive in a home where she has space to move, play, and burn off that joyful energy. With lots of exercise and consistent training, Cleo will make for a lively, affectionate companion who will keep you active and smiling !

Love Bug, Smooch and Sweetheart were picked up stray by a local animal control facility and then it was later found out whom they belonged to but were still surrendered due to being unwanted. These girls are very athletic, energetic and have a high drive. They are extremely smart and will need an active home to keep their minds and bodies engaged and out of trouble! With the right environment all these girls are going to grow up to be very impressive dogs.
