Hi there, my name is Octavia, a spayed 1 and a half year old, Rottweiler/Staffie mix that currently weighs about 60lbs. I'm an affectionate young lady that loves to love. I love belly rubs and going on walks! I'm an excellent kisser and cuddler too! I do my very best not to jump up on people to say hello but sometimes I forget then I remember again, and it ends up being more of a bunny hop. I'm a really smart girl that already knows 'watch me', 'sit', 'down' and of course the best game known to dog kind... Fetch! I really love being around people, I have been called a lovebug and would be a wonderful constant companion for anyone looking for an affectionate but very energetic new friend. I sometimes get overwhelmed since I'm still getting used new things. I can't wait to meet the whole household including any resident dogs before going home. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Meet Bongo, the bouncy boy. This 11-month-old pup is looking for his forever home as soon as possible so he can finish growing into his best self. He’s super friendly with people and really loves human attention. In the playroom, he mainly wants to sit beside you and get pets. He also LOVES treats. Bongo is just learning about leash walking and tends to zig zag quite a bit. He also could use some work on not mouthing things like the leash and your treat bag. Did we mention he loves treats? Bongo is very good natured and will enjoy training with his new guardians. He tends to bark a little at other dogs -- we think it’s because he wants to meet them. Bongo has that cute rottie butt wiggle that is sure to make you fall in love. Come meet him before he’s snapped up!
